My only concern is, when i went the guy who assisted us didn't really gave us any details whatsoever. He just took the keys and just proceeded to the alignment. Mao also told me from just this one visit that my rack and pinion was leaking, sway bar bracket snapped off and needed custom fab, struts were leaking, brakes were gone, and rotors were warped. He also brought me in, showed me the problems and explained them very clearly. Very honest place. They also ran into some problems because my car is stupidly modified, but didn't even charge me extra for the difficulties. I'm almost certain I got over charged for the wheel balancing but I needed it done alignment was quick which was great 30 mins or so. $65 for the alignment and $60 for the balancing. America's tires are 55 for lifetime balance and rotation. Had to ask about any alignment warranties figure places would usually tell you like 1 month or 6 months in this case it's 3 months for this place.bOther than that my experience was very brief. After looking for a reputable and honest shop to redo my alignment after dealing with 209 Autosport's crappy alignment job. I found this shop on Yelp and was a little skeptical of all the great reviews at first. Then after having my TL aligned after lowering it, I knew why they had all these great reviews. Mao and the other worker take the time to point out what everything (camber, caster, toe) meant, and you can also have them set your camber at a certain amount. After having my TL aligned, I took my tC to get realigned because it just didn't felt right after 209 Autosport aligned it about 2 months before. It was really funny seeing the worker (not Mao) getting out of the car after testing driving it first and said "wth happened to your steering wheel?" I'm a self-taught mechanic and mechanical engineer by profession. Their mechanical competency on wheel alignment is excellent. I called to make an appointment and their customer service and communication skills were great. One of the guys there was a fellow WRX/STI enthusiast. So i had great time talking about performance modifications about these cars and how he rebuilt his own car motor. I even found out he does extra work at the shop. Good to know! I will say that once I arrived at their shop they didn't really have an office so you had to get their attention. Nothing too bad. But once they did, they did a great job getting my 2013 WRX on the machine to give me the "before" alignment specs (toe, camber, etc.). After they adjusted the alignment, they remeasured with their machine and gave me a print out of the "after" alignment specs. They hit it right on the first time w/out readjustment! Well, I wasn't really surprised. This type of excellent service is what you expect from a shop that ONLY does wheel alignment. I wouldn't trust any other alignment shop like *cough* Sears or Brannon Tire *cough* LOL. Even though Sears has a great deal with lifetime alignment for 200 bucks...I've had bad experiences with Sears (not tightening adjustment bolts/nuts). So I refuse to go there again! C'mon sears! I'm all for supporting "mom and pop" shops and I am sure this place produces high quality service. However this place lacks customer service and professionalism in it's work environment. I came here to get an estimate on my vehicle and I waited at the front desk for approximately 2 minutes while the guy in charge of this small establishment was sitting right next to me and showed complete disregard for my presence. A simple "will be right with you" would have sufficed nonetheless. When he finally decided to acknowledge my presence I proceeded to explain what my car issue was. Awesome service, good prices. Had to have both control arms replaced and they beat the Honda dealer dead in its tracks. We've had our Element there a few times for different things. Car has almost 300k on the odometer, things need replacement. I don't know what Dean is griping about. Charging for a diagnostic is industry standard, and if the car owner had dicked around with their suspension geometry, it complicates matters for shops. Had some tires shipped here from Tire Rack for installation/alignment on my Evo IX. Bought some coilovers for install so they added that to the package for a fair price. After inspection, they noticed a noise which they diagnosed as a right wheel bearing going bad and possibly a bad front right axle. They said that right axle was fine as they replaced the jacked wheel bearing. Saved me a $100. Appreciated the honesty which is hard to find these days. Would come back here again for my tire/alignment and even mechanical issues again (but hopefully not too soon, ha!) I went to high school with the owner so it's nice to see him doing well. After i replaced the tie rods, Mal the owner was able to take my Diesel truck right in, as scheduled and do the alignment, and showed me some things I missed. The next day I had the front wheels balanced. That went quickly. Then the in the tank fuel pump went out on my Chevy Tahoe. As soon as the parts arrived, Ben took us in and did the whole job in one day. The tank had to come out and was nearly full!! The bill for each of these jobs was very reasonable.
