    Crispy Dulce de Leche Rolls

I forgot to take a picture but I ordered the West Coast Salmon bowl, sooo good! They have plenty of space and a nice bar area. We also ordered their Crispy Dulce de Leche rolls for dessert. Get this, you won't regret it. There's also a parking structure so no worries there. IG: @jessuurr

I've been to the Tustin location and the food is pretty good. This time around was our first time at this location. We came after a workout at Lifetime so got there earlier in the day to park but parking can definitely be a little tough as it's located right by the mall and the new outdoor stores. It's located close to a parking structure though which helps. We came around 1 pm on a Saturday and were seated within 5 minutes on the patio. The day was beautiful and the patio had a nice a breeze. I felt the service was lacking a bit. We had to ask for our server to bring water, and when we ordered our drinks they came out at different times, with the drink ordered later coming first. She did seem to disappear at times for long stretches but could be due to the large party near us. I did appreciate her honesty when we asked about a new menu item we were considering ordering. The watermelon mule was my favorite drink, but the virgin Margy and mango mezcalita were good too. The food was pretty good per usual. I really enjoyed the ceviche and crab cakes. They were very flavorful and I loved the arugula under the crab cakes. For entrees we ordered the barramundi sea bass and the Kona Konpachu. The fish was pretty tasty and not too fishy. The Brussels sprouts were so good I kept wanting to eat them even though I was stuffed. Cooked perfectly and so much flavor. The kimchi fried rice was okay, I don't know if I'd order it again as I've had better but it wasn't too bad. We walked around the mall afterwards and there is a nice outdoor area to hang out. Overall this is a great place and area for lunch or dinner with friends.

If you're looking for a spot with cute coastal aesthetics, this is definitely the place. The decor and overall ambiance definitely nailed that breezy, seaside-vacation vibe. The restaurant was a bit smaller than I anticipated, but it had a cozy and stylish feel. The actual food itself however felt very standard. I had the Ahi Poke ($14) and Sweet Potato Fries ($8) and found both the fries and poke to be average at best. The poke quality didn't seem as fresh as I'd expect from a dedicated seafood spot, and I personally found the wakame cucumber salad mix underneath to be a bit odd. I wasn't a huge fan of the strips of cucumber tossed in with the wakame salad as I felt it took away from the distinct taste of the seaweed salad. Service was standard. Our server was attentive enough, though the restaurant was decently busy so things moved at a regular pace. That being said, their "Aloha Hour" menu looks like a great way to try multiple dishes for a fraction of the price so I would definitely come back to give that a try, as well as check out their cute outdoor patio. Glad to see more restaurant options opening up in Brea!

My first time trying this restaurant and it was amazing. Beautiful ambiance with an island feel. The food was good everything I tried and the service by K was amazing she was attentive fun and personable. I ordered the meat with fried rice, crab cakes, and a drink. A nice amount of items to choose from the menu. I will definitely go find there again.

Giving 5 stars to Pacific Catch!!! The exceptional service was absolutely great. The manager Rodolfo and another lady at the front was very nice. My mom sugar was low and they gave her some orange juice as we waited. They even checked on her as we sat down. Our server Key was amazing as well. She was super attentive and had a great personality. She recommend the crab cakes that were really good.. 5/5 for me. I highly suggest you ask for key when you come. I ordered the salmon Cesar salad and it was pretty good. Also, for my drink the Mai tai, was very good and not too sweet. The ambiance was good it's really beautiful and modern inside . It's pretty new so it's a long wait, but it was worth it. Nice bar area and located outside the Brea Mall next to all the new restaurants. I will come back here to try their happy hour. Plenty of parking and they have valet! -Marshay D.

This place had food that was fresh but service was a bit slow. We came on a summer weekend day during lunch time so that might be the reason. But with the location and being a franchise, I am assuming they are fully trained to handle a busy afternoon. I ordered a three piece fish and chips (sweet potato). The fish was okay taste wise. There was not much flavor to the fish or breading. The sauce was definitely bomb. I asked to take some home with my leftover fries. My kids really loved it too. I am hoping to have a better experience the next time we go in. I will try to order something different from the menu.

Came here for a weekend lunch and was pleasantly surprised we didn't have to wait. The interior is modern, cute, and has a fun ocean-inspired vibe that feels bright and inviting. We ordered the Guaca-Poke, Citrus-Pepita Salad, and a Taco Platter with two Seared Sea Bass tacos and sweet potato fries. Everything came out quickly. The Citrus-Pepita Salad had a nice balance of flavors, and while the Guaca-Poke portion was a little small, the mix of poke and guacamole was a unique and tasty twist. The Seared Sea Bass tacos were the highlight--the fish was perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful. Service was fast and efficient, though not especially friendly. Overall, I'd definitely come back for a relaxed lunch or a casual family meal.

Pacific Catch is located outside the Brea Mall and is a really pretty restaurant! I ordered the summer sea bass which comes with Okinawa purple potatoes, a mango-avocado salad, and a coconut-tumeric sauce. The bass was coated in a macadamia nut crumble and was light, perfectly seasoned, and a generous portion of fish. The salad had a sweet-slightly spicy dressing and was refreshing. I'm a big fan of Okinawa purple potatoes (they're kind of hard to find and I've never seen them on a restaurant menu) and these were amazing! A bit crispy on the outside, nice and tender on the inside. My server kept my iced tea full and offered me a to go cup at the end of my meal. I'd definitely return here again!

We have visited this great seafood restaurant in Tustin a while ago. So glad this Brea location is much closer to us. Place is very spacious and the patio area is lovely on a nice sunny day. The menus were big and a decent gluten free menu too. We decided on crab cakes and sea salt edamame for appetizers. Three tacos and warm lobster roll as entrees. Kimchi fried rice with egg as side and pineapple cake with banana gelato as desserts. Hubby had a couple Casamigos silver margaritas and they were great pours. I had a blood orange juice beverage which was refreshing but a bit sweet. Our server was very friendly and attentive. This is a great seafood restaurant that we will visit or DoorDash again soon!

I came here twice, once for happy hour, and once for dinner. Happy hour was great. I loved the shrimp tacos. Drinks are well-made. Dinner was okay. My boyfriend said the steak wasn't that good, but partially our fault for ordering steak at a seafood place. I didn't finish and wouldn't go back in the evening. It's a nice place that looks casual if that makes sense, so it wasn't my favorite setting for date night either. Service was good.

Food quality is similar to the fast casual seafood restaurants where you order at the counter and they call your number. You will be paying quite a bit more for the nice restaurant atmosphere. 4/5 grilled kanpachi. The grilled fish was the only thing good for this meal. Even their aioli for the grilled zucchini tasted like plain mayo. 2/5 guaca-poke was fishy. I ate around the fish and just scooped the guacamole 3/5 mixed fried seafood platter. At $28 this dish should come with fresh French fries. The ones that came out have been under a heat lamp long enough to make them chewy.

3.5 stars Pacific Catch is a Californian coastal restaurant with multiple locations throughout the state. This location just opened up in the Brea Mall. It's a seafood restaurant but it pulls inspiration from a variety of places such as Hawaii, Mexico, and other Asian countries. They also have a variety of Hawaiian inspired cocktails, so much so that if you wear an aloha shirt on Fridays you get a mai tai for $6. There was patio, indoor, and bar seating. It's an open air restaurant but I found that the further in the restaurant you went the darker it was; there were no windows or natural lighting inside. I came during their aloha hour which was 3-6pm on weekdays and 3-5pm on weekends at the patio and bar. The spicy tuna rolls ($5) were just okay; they were more spicy from the jalapeño than the tuna itself which I don't think had any spice at all. The ceviche mixto ($10) was surprisingly liquidy and not what I expected. It was tart but I would've preferred less liquid. The glazed ribs ($10) had good flavor but some parts of the ribs were more tender than others. Some were a bit more dry and tough. For drinks the mai tai ($9) was good but on the slightly sweeter side. On the other hand, the hurricane ($15) was more spirit forward and tart, and I tasted more of the lime. I appreciated the weekend happy hour and the prices were pretty good for what I got. The food was decent and the drinks were good.

We waited almost 40 minutes for our food, which was frustrating enough. I ordered several pieces of salmon and yellowtail nigiri, and every single one had wasabi hidden underneath the fish. There was no indication on the menu, and our server never mentioned it. My mouth was on fire, but what upset me most was that my son also took a bite and had the same experience. Plenty of kids eat sushi, and customers should be told if wasabi is already included under the fish. When I brought it up, our server apologized and initially said it wasn't supposed to come that way. Then the owner said it was intentional. Another owner tried to tell me it was "traditional" and "common," even though it wasn't disclosed anywhere. Instead of acknowledging that customers should be informed, I felt like they were trying to convince me the problem was mine. They also brought us our roll 45 mins later that was mostly avocado with very little fish and missing cucumber which only added to the disappointment. To their credit, they did remove our bill, and I appreciate that. However, by that point the experience had already been soured by the lack of communication and the way our concerns were handled. A simple warning that the nigiri is served with wasabi under the fish would have prevented the entire situation.

Fifteen courses that are surprises because even tho there's a "template" of types of dishes, each one is ultimately the chef's choice. As each course was brought out, our waiter did an excellent job of describing what each item was and it's place of origin. Fifteen courses is alot to try to remember each specific dish so I decided to stay in the moment (after I snapped a pic) and enjoyed each one as we had them and talked about the flavor profiles and what we liked best about it. A MUST try! I had…read morenoticed this restaurant and the strip mall on Harbor Boulevard but had never been there. We were craving sushi and decided to try a new place. I noticed that they had good reviews on Yelp and they were nearby so why not? We walked in close to the end of their lunchtime. They have some parking right at the front but I know that plaza can get very busy specially for breakfast time so not a problem for sushi. They have a few offers on the signs outside for lunch menu and a different Omakase. My boyfriend really wanted to try the luxury Omakase since it included a lot of courses and we were hungry. The staff were really friendly and we got sat on the bar. They have some table tables and then they have the large bar area. They have a very modern clean feel and it is family friendly. They do offer some alcohol. I noticed the refrigerator with look like sake and other alcohol. We decided to order draft beer and the luxury omakase. We were warned that they were a lot of dishes, but we were up for a challenge. I will say that the pricetag of $105 is definitely worth it. This is now my number one sushi spot in the area no doubt about it. Every single piece was delicious. The chef will prepare the piece and put them on the top of the bar for us to grab. My absolute favourite one was the sear black cod it would melt on your mouth. We will definitely be back for the omakase and we are also curious of trying the regular menu. They mentioned that what was included in their omakase would change day by day so every time would be a different experience. I would highly recommend this sushi restaurant.

What a gem in the middle of La Habra/Fullerton. You walk…read moreinto a modern, cozy restaurant, which has a bit of both chic and warm. The service was top-notch. Although it seems like they rush you a bit, they are always careful to ask if you're done. As omakases are known to clean up quickly to present the next dish/plate, I thought it was actually great that they were courteous while being efficient. The chefs were also very attentive, as they kept looking over if we were finished and ready for the next item in their lineup. I finish my sushi pieces a bit quicker than my partner, so the chef matched that by placing my pieces first and hers second, which I thought was a nice touch. As for the food, it was everything an omakase needs: flavor, consistency, and freshness. Each piece had its own story and it was expressed the only way each respective fish could be expressed. I always go in thinking I'm going to stay hungry by the end, but I am always proven wrong. For the price, I think this experience was well worth it. Everything was just clean: ambience, presentation, and taste. I would definitely do it again. It's within a small plaza, so there should be plenty of parking. A++!

We've been coming here for YEARS... all the way back to when Annie was our server... miss her a…read morelot. Always good, always fresh, and never disappointed. Now let's hit some points. First, the BOGO deal is awesome. There are happy hour deals, but we rarely get there in time to take advantage. It's just a bit of a drive for us to get there early enough. Second, the Chefs!!! Go to any sushi joint you want... you've got ONE chef slinging fish, totally backed up, trying his best to keep pace, and all the while losing attention to detail and presentation. CRnS always has 3 sometimes 4 Chef's behind the line. The result is faster service.... Of course.... But presentations that are almost too pretty to eat... but, it's sushi, so we eat them anyway. And third, the servers.... They are pretty consistent....There are not new servers every other week like some lesser joints. You get familiar with them and they get familiar you. Which leads me to James! James is awesome, polite, helpful, attentive, and just does a great job. I could never do it.... I'd be like "Bruh, I was just here 2 minutes ago, why didn't you ask more Wasabi and Ginger then?" Not James, always glad to bring us more Wasabi and Ginger.... And I promise you... we wear him out... definitely gets his steps in when we show up. James probably thinks we're packing the stuff in Tupperware but I swear James... we're eating it. Anyway, I have rambled enough. IFYKYK, and if you don't know, give them a visit! SEE YOU TOMORROW!
