Omg, I am so glad my Subaru dealership recommended Pacific Collision. I couldn't be happier with the service and workmanship. My car is immaculate. 2 years old and a man scraped the paint on my side panel near my left rare bumper when he backed up to park his car. I was upset but fortunate that he stayed until I arrived and he told me what had happen. Not knowing how the car is built I told him I would have to take it to my dealership to access the cost, damage and repair. They recommended Pacific Collision, a certified Subaru shop. I was greeted by Tya the shop manager who asked me if I wanted a patch job (paraphrasing) as opposed to a complete replacement. She told me what each entailed. I wanted my car like new before it got hit. She gave me an estimate on the spot. I asked to get on a call with the gentleman who hit me. With the 3 of us on the call at the shop, he was able to ask Tya questions about the repair and cost. I couldn't believe how communicative the shop was from the time I dropped off the car to the day I picked up my vehicle. All lot of text messages with up to date status. Who does that?! My entire bumper was replaced and the attached panel on each side which needed to be painted match perfectly to the paint on rest of my car. Camera and the electronics were also checked for calibration. I was skeptical on the paint match and even more so when Tya first mentioned a possible over spray. As it turns out, that's what they say just in case....I didn't expect perfection and I didn't expected to see my car sitting in front of the shop cleaner (and detailed) than when I brought it in. I dropped off the car on Monday morning and got my Subie back Wednesday afternoon. I didn't expect the turn around so quickly. I also asked for touch up paint and the old bumper. Boy, did they deliver. My old bumper came in a zippered bag and they waited for me to see them load the bumper and how careful they were in placing it into my car. I am so impressed by them, I raved to a friend the next day. He called them on a whim that same day to get his car detailed that afternoon, talked to Tya and she got an appointment that same day. Wow, he liked the detailing too. 3 days later another Subaru owner who parked next to me with an Outback like mine but white commented on how good my Subie looked. Being an outdoor sportsman, he put a small dent on the car when unloading his kayak. I told him I just pulled my car out of the shop that week and told him about Pacific Collision. Guillermo, Tya, and their team saved me a lot of hassle and running around by fixing the passenger side door panel for my 1997 BMW. They fixed my panel -- three pieces attached to the panel had come loose over time -- despite a full shop and my not having an appointment / being a walk-in. Finally, they were upfront with a very fair price at they didn't change once the work was completed. It has been hard to find an honest, quick, and reasonable body shop in the Bay Area. I recently had to replace my windshield, older model Lexus SC. To my dismay I learned after taking the weather stripping off I had some rust at the top windshield frame due to a previous incorrectly replaced windshield. This windshield frame rust is the hidden scourge of the auto world hahha beware of it, even in Cali.I Called Geremo and crew and they put my mind at ease and took care of the rust with some body work and rust treatment chemicals. A couple of months ago, my car was hit while parked on the street in Oakland. Completely side swiped the driver side.. To add salt to injury, the person responsible for the accident didn't stop to provide their information. Don't recommend. Had a front lip installed here. I was charged $400 and gave the guy $40 bucks tips. No complaints if it was a good job. Later found that the holes that he drilled for the rods doesn't even line up (neither on the car itself nor the lip). I simply don't understand how you charge so much for this kind of workmanship.
