I recently had my gums laser cleaned and it was a little painful getting the numbing injections but after the initial numbing wore off I had no pain at all. It was made as pleasant an experience as possible by very nice, knowledgeable and experienced staff. I needed to bring my dad in for tooth pain as he'd fallen down. I called his "in-network" dentist office yesterday (10/8) and they couldn't see him until 10/24/23. I did let that office know that he's elderly and had fallen and tooth hurts but still could not see him any earlier than 10/24/23. I called Pacific Dental which is "out-of-network" and I explained what was going on and Rosamond office said, "oh no that's too long" ( I agree) and she got him in for this morning at their Palmdale office and finished with two extractions in about 45 mins, it may have been less time than that. Two teeth were badly decayed deep cavities. Dr. Vladimir Dontsov is excellent. Wonderful bedside manners, tech assistant is wonderful. GREAT QUALITY CARE. Front staff helped us save money which I so appreciate for them to help to save patients money. Smooth. Just all around great quality service. I recently got a root canal done and needed a permanent crown. Pacific Dental Care was highly recommended by my family members so I went in feeling assured that my tooth would be in the right hands. Upon arrival I was greeted warmly by the front desk receptionist. The waiting area itself is very spacious comfortable, and clean. I hardly waited to be seen which was a pleasant surprise. The dental assistant who took my xrays was also very friendly. I was then taken to another room and was greeted by Dr. Won. He was great at explaining everything to me and gave me a play by play of what he was doing. The crown required two visits: one to mold and another to place the crown. He and his assistant worked harmoniously together while working on my tooth and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I never felt any pain or discomfort during any of the visits. All and all, my experiences at Pacific Dental Care were exceptional. The care and attention to detail Dr. Won and his staff have towards their patients make even a dreaded trip to the dentist enjoyable. First visit. Nice staff and dentist. The dentist told me my teeth are doing well after staying away from a dentist for 8 years. Which leads me to believe that the previous dentist was trying to rip me off, and the insurance company, for unnecessary service. I was told numerous times I had gum disease and needed surgery totaling more than $2,000 (8 years ago--probably $2,500 now) and would require after care and visits to their office--more expense. So returning to a dentist 8 years later I would think the dentist would have been alarmed finding issues with my teeth and gums. Nope...instead I was told my teeth and gums are in fairly good condition but I will need a deep cleaning. Hmmmm. This has to be, hands down, my favorite dental office I've ever been to. It is always squeaky clean, always smells amazing, and the staff are super friendly. They do a lot of different procedures, too. I've had them do fillings, deep cleanings, maintenance, and even had my wisdom teeth removed here. I've been to a lot of places and I have to say, I plan on sticking with this one for the long haul! I'm adding something I forgot - never have I had to wait what I felt was an excessive amount of time. I don't go to the dentist and plan on leaving in 15 minutes. That being said, I think the longest visit I ever had was about an hour and fifteen minutes and that's because the procedure I had was lengthy. I've found the ladies at the front to always be helpful and kind and they have rerun my insurance before me previously just to be positive that I was getting the best coverage. read more

I'm not sure if it's new management or whatever the deal may be. I had an appointment, my husband confirmed it a day before (Not Me) I completely forgot about it the next day and I received a nasty call from "Heather" We are going to charge you a $25 fee for taking up our Drs hour." I tried to apologize letting her know I completely forgot to write down my appointment and she said "well you confirmed it yesterday ... So? Well actually your husband did " Uhm I'm sorry?? So I rescheduled for the following week! She calls me a day later telling me I'm late for my appointment again (with the attitude) I let her know she booked it for the wrong date. And now!!!! My husband had an appointment this morning and he called 2 hours before to see if he can push his appointment back 2 hours. (He got a job interview) no appointments available so they booked it for tomorrow instead. BUT still CHARGED him $25 for changing it because he confirmed it the day before!!!!!!! The staff here is AMAZING. My daughter had to have a root canal done and was really anxious. Everyone worked together to help her get through the procedure with minimal discomfort. María at the front desk is always cheerful and helpful. Tanya is understanding and went the extra mile to inform us of the process and how the insurance and payment options work. We saw Dr. Tabachnik for the root canal, who was very patient and explained to us what was going on throughout the procedure. We had the pleasure of having Angel assist her during the root canal as well as assist Dr. Lee in having her fit for her permanent crown. X-rays have always been difficult, but Angel has some tricks up his sleeve that helped to get the difficult views needed! Everyone here worked to make our experience the best it could possibly be. This was my first time at Pacific Dental Care and I was delighted on the people that work there are very nice and polite. I was seen with Dr.Stephen Song Kim he was very nice and thorough on my examination he really explain what I need to be done on the x-rays that he showed me. He also showed me what my last doctor did wrong on the x-rays . I was really please about that. I have three procedures that I need to get done and the Girls there trying to work things around with my insurance coverage so I get the most out of my insurance . Less out of my pocket. That's a good thing. I made appointment with Pacific Dental Care for my hole family. I am very Please with them I highly recommend then.
