I closed the sales and flew my trusted…read moreemployee down to LA to pick it up and when he returned with it I immediately noticed that the windshield had just been replaced as it had sealant oozing out all around it and blue tape holding it in place while the glue dried. The seal had been torn by whatever unqualified shop did the glass replacement. I further noticed that someone had attempted to break into the truck by prying a crowbar between the door handle and frame and deduced that after unsuccessfully attempting that they must have shattered the windshield to get in. I went back and combed through the photos they posted in the ad and the door damage was not there. I informed them that it should have been disclosed and than I wanted a new windshield installed with an intact seal and the body work done to the door. They agreed via email so I went and got repair quotes and submitted them, but then never followed through despite many months of nagging, emails and messages, finally just refusing to respond in any way. Terrible company. Never again...

The next question we asked was about the history of the truck: when the last service had been done, what had been repaired, what parts had been changed. The answer was that he had no information in this regard. Then my husband asked for a test drive. Mr Sherman said to this that there will be no test drive, as he does not like my husband and will not sell the truck to him!! I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. Be careful dealing with the owner of this dealership. We never had such an attitude anywhere!

We found the truck we wanted for our business, agreed on a price, handled the paperwork, and were on our way. There was no unnecessary back and forth or pressure, just an honest and professional transaction. Going into it, I honestly wasn't sure what the truck was worth. After spending time researching the market and comparing similar trucks, I realized it was priced very fairly. It was a 2023 dump truck with only about 40,000 miles, and it ended up being a great value. Like we do with every vehicle we purchase, I had my independent mechanic inspect it from top to bottom. The only things we did were our standard maintenance items: an oil and filter change, spark plugs, and a coolant flush. Those are things we do on every vehicle we buy anyway. Other than that, the truck checked out great, and there weren't any unexpected repairs waiting for us. To me, that really speaks volumes about the way they do business. There's a reason they've been around for so long and have earned so many positive reviews. They represented the truck honestly, had everything ready when I arrived, and respected my time.
