It was really fast pace and well thought out. the speackers all knew what they were talking about and were able to answer questions in a technical way and connect all their ideas into one big picture. While everything was amazing I do want to add that with some much information is such a small amount of time it was hard to comprehend a lot of it. but overall this was an amazing lecture that thought me alot about new and incoming innovations in the medical field and makes me curious what the future of medican will look like in the upcoming years.

It was a busy Friday night, yet the staff treated my father with urgency, dignity, and genuine compassion. What could have been a chaotic and impersonal experience instead felt human and attentive. After we arrived, the ER team worked tirelessly -- not just medically, but administratively -- coordinating with insurance, social workers, and case management. When my father became stuck in the ER due to complications with his prior facility refusing readmission, the UCLA team did not give up on him. They continued advocating, communicating, and ultimately helped secure placement in a better facility after nearly a week in limbo. That level of follow-through meant everything to our family. I especially want to recognize Nurse Claire in the ER. Her kindness and humanity were extraordinary. She gave my father blankets, made sure he was comfortable, and even offered me blankets, food, and water during a long and emotional night. She cleaned my father up with such care and dignity. After 10 hours of uncertainty, she brought calm, reassurance, and genuine bedside compassion that I will never forget. I also want to thank Dr. Carson Dangberg for advocating for my father during a very unfortunate situation. His professionalism and willingness to step in made a real difference. In one of the hardest moments for our family, this ER team reminded us that healthcare can still be compassionate and patient-centered. We are deeply grateful.

She has been prescribed benzodiazepines from a variety of her providers in the past. She states that she's had a Rx for them about 20 years now. The provider she saw from this office also had her on benzodiazepines, but recently moved out of the area. She refilled my mom's Rx for 60 days to bridge the gap of a provider change. My mom's first apt with her new provider was scheduled for late September via tele-health. No call! When she asked about it she was told that she had no appointment by reception & that she didn't pay her co-pay by billing. A new appointment was set & credit card number was provided. Again, no call!!! Again, she didn't pay her co-pay. Remember, they had the card # & my mom's authorization. B U T, it gets better! Billing tells her today that they won't let her speak with a provider until she pays what she owes. What does she owe? Nothing! She has already paid the out-of-pocket max, so there is/was no co-pay!! They cancelled 2 months in a row because of bad billing management. In an effort to avoid reports of elder abuse, a 'provider' called her today. If she wants to continue seeing them, he will prescribe her a new med. she should COLD TURKEY benzodiazepines that's she's taken 20 years. Please Google the consequences of that proposition. It's not good. I read their website, the CEO boasts the practice has won awards & they spearhead new treatments. I'm left wondering what award is given to providers who direct their patients/clients to do something that countless medical sources advise can cause seizures, delirium tremens (DT), catatonia, hallucinations, psychosis, suicide, & death?????? If you're looking for a new mental health provider, I encourage you to keep looking.

I was on a path of self-destruction and was able to right myself towards a path of recovery wholly due to the care, compassion, counseling, therapy, and education imparted by the Lighthouse Leadership Team and Staff. This is a truly an exceptional program focused on a holistic approach to rehabilitation and recovery. All facets crucial to a healthy and successful launch to recovery are carefully addressed, focused on restoring physical, mental, and emotional states of well-being. Physical health is carefully monitored and medical needs are addressed and met by a competent and compassionate medical team. In addition to 24 hour access to snacks and beverages, nutritional needs are met by an outstanding kitchen staff, where healthy, well-balanced, freshly prepared and delicious meals are provided three times a day. Psychological education essential to the recovery process is imparted by well-trained and empathetic personnel whose compassion and dedication is readily apparent from day one. Both a licensed counselor and therapist are personally assigned to each client for one-on-one weekly meetings, who also have an open door policy to effectively address any needs related to your treatment progress. The facility itself is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained, providing comfortable accommodations and an overall environment conducive to a smooth and successful recovery. It is important to emphasize how critical and effective the Lighthouse Staff and Team were in launching me to an overall state of well-being, where the daily encountered challenges of life we are overcome with understanding, patience and compassion. These are the attributes I encountered from the staff during my treatment at the Lighthouse and I am proud to be an alumnus to carry on this tradition of a program that ultimately saved my life and paved the way for a happy and healthy future. I apologize in advance if I miss (or mispell) any names who were instrumental in my recovery and to whom I would like to express my deep gratitude: - Carlos : whose outstanding care and efficiency in the admission process went above and beyond expectations and who continues to perform at an extraordinary level as shown by his responsiveness to recent client admissions - Teresa : for the strong, inspirational and compassionate leadership which naturally commands respect and gratitude, ultimately resulting in the implementation of a successful treatment program - Jessica and Sochi : who warmly welcomed me to the program on day one - Delia and Eunice : who diligently and effectively addressed any medical needs with warmth and compassion - LaDonna, Julie, Stephanie, Paula and Linda : who always met me with a genuine smile and heartfelt interest in my well-being, as well as words of wisdom and support - Austin, Alfonso and Joey: whose sincere commitment to our recovery was expressed through interactions in the med room and leadership at group meetings - Jorge, Noah, Kay, Will and Robert: who provided moral support and fearlessly transported us to the gym, Walmart, outside meetings and critical appointments - Steve : who, with a beaming smile, effectively set-up needed outside appointments and transportation - Yesenia, Sonia, Lulu, Spencer, Sarah and Mario: whose heartfelt love and care was manifested in the scrumptious meals they so carefully prepared for us - Dana and Cup of Joe : whose attention and dedication to facility maintenance needs was readily apparent (and Joe's) deliciously strong coffee turbocharged our energy levels during treatment - Johnny : whose Psych Education classes were instrumental in reframing thought processes and were executed with the perfect balance of laughter and seriousness - Marlene : my well-respected therapist who so expertly and compassionately guided me to a path of psychological recovery - Candice : my counselor who is loved by all and has an impactful positive effect on those she guides Thank you to all the Lighthouse Staff all for your love and support. I am forever grateful and look forward to being of service to the Lighthouse family.

Before him, I had experiences where I felt like I had to fight to be heard, rush through concerns, or only share the "important" symptoms because I worried the provider didn't have time for the rest. That kind of environment makes it hard to be vulnerable or honest. With Dr. Tran, it's the complete opposite. For the first time, I feel like I can say everything without needing to filter or edit myself. He listens to the full story, even when I'm rambling, anxious, or unsure how to articulate what l'm feeling. He doesn't interrupt. He doesn't rush me along. He doesn't jump to conclusions. He lets me speak in my own pace and my own way. Then, once I'm finished, he reflects back what he heard - not in a robotic way, but in a way that makes it clear he truly understood what I meant, not just what I said. That level of careful listening has helped me open up more than I ever have in mental health treatment. There have been sessions where I walked in overwhelmed, on the verge of tears, or feeling completely lost. He never looks uncomfortable or impatient. He stays calm, grounded, and steady, gently guiding me through the conversation until I can breathe again and see things clearly. That kind of support has been invaluable. And when I have questions -- whether about symptoms, medications, or even just the emotional experience of what I'm going through -- he answers them thoroughly and thoughtfully. Never rushed. Never dismissive. Never acting like I should already know the answer. I always leave appointments feeling more informed, more grounded, and more seen. Because I finally feel truly heard, my progress has accelerated dramatically. I'm able to share things I've held in for years, and that honesty has transformed the way I understand myself. I can't express how rare and meaningful that experience has been.
