Got a e bike on 9/14/25 a hey bike Mars 2.0 with the two year extended warranty an extra $200 . The bike is trash the brakes are terrible almost ran over a kid couldn't stop then the brakes are making a funny sound the front fork stick . So I'm not happy with the bike so on 9/18/25 a couple days later go back to Best Buy to return the bike. They tell me that they will return scooters but they will not return E bikes. I told them nobody told me this at checkout. They told me there is nothing they can do so I'm warning all consumers do not buy e-bikes from Best Buy. They sell trash and you cannot get your money back now I'm stuck with something I'm afraid to ride or let anybody ride because they're gonna get hurt or even killed. And when I went in found out that they lowered the price again. After going to several Thermador dealers, I found Hubert and Kayman in the appliances section. They are very good at matching prices and worked with me. Unfortunately, the price they would match was an item we decided not to get...a freezer column with an external water/ice dispenser. After doing a comparison, the dispenser would take up some real estate in the freezer column and due to the fact that we have a great reverse osmosis system, we nixed the idea of having the dispenser. Hubert was personable and helpful. Kayman really stepped up to the plate when needed and I would highly recommend potential Thermador or Dacor buyers to give them a shot. The real difference was the no BS approach and the fact that I got extra Best Buy points to use and pick up other stuff they had in the store was an unforeseen bonus for us :) At any rate, I'd say for them to keep up the good customer service and true to the nature of Hubert and Kaymen they do not judge a book by it's cover :) read more

This review is long overdue as I've had excellent experiences with Pacific Sales Colma Store over the years, with a big shout out to Henry W and Jason P there. 1) Several years ago, I purchased a Thermador double-oven from them. The installation guy pushed on the oven doors and made an indented profile on both doors (he should have pushed on the edge, not on the doors). When I called Pac Sales about the issues, they immediately acknowledged the mistake and ordered new replacement doors for the ovens, so it was a happy ending. 2) Recently I bought a number of floor models from the Redwood City Pacific Sales as they're moving the standalone Pac Sales stores into BestBuy stores. I had numerous installation issues with the purchase and I could not get much help from the RWC store. I grew desperate and called Colma Pac Sales for help. At both times, even though the sales were not through them, I got people to answer the calls right away, and Henry and Jason called back very shortly after that. Both of them were extremely patient, and they went out of their way to spend a lot of time to find my order and help me resolve all the issues, which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend the Pacific Sales Colma store and will definitely go there exclusively for my future appliance purchases. read more

After deciding to buy a Thermador stove, I came to realize that all Thermador dealers had to sell their products at the same price. So my deciding factor was where I can get the best customer service. Jozmar "Oz" Hernandez, was the deciding factor to buy my stove at this Pacific Sales location. Oz is very personable; greeting me by my name ever time I came in and browsed around in the store. He is extremely knowledgeable on the products and didn't BS me like other retailers. (I know because I would go to other stores and compare what they have to say) The other retailers would always say the brands they carry in their store were the brand to buy. Oz, on the other hand, told me all the pros and cons of each brands and what to expect for durability and longevity. With all this information I was able to decide on my fridge. Once again, I sought to look for the best price possible. Just to come to realize that Pacific Sales will match any company's price. Not only that, they will match the price up to 60 days after you purchase your product. You can't lose. Though this Pacific Sales store may be a bit smaller than the other locations around the Bay Area, the inventory is the same. Meaning, if you find it at another location, but not this one, they can always order it for you. Why order it at this location? Because this location is in Best Buy, purchases made count towards your Best Buy rewards points!!! This should be 0 stars, but our sales associate Tak has been super helpful through this process. I should have read all of these reviews first before I went and bought ALL new appliances from these guys. I went to Best Buy/Pacific Sales because we had a great reference who had a good experience from them (although in the East Bay). We went into the showroom, looked around, got some good help from Tak and ended up buying all of our appliances there. We had the first delivery scheduled on a Saturday and when the delivery guys showed up, they could not deliver because their truck was "too big". They could have parked their car less then a block away but they refused to do that. They could've unloaded and installed everything but chose not to because they wanted to have a guy with their truck at all times (we even offered to stay with the truck or help bring it up the stairs-- and we have a private street). The second time they tried to deliver, they had the right size truck but a smaller team. Because they only had 2 people, they could not deliver it. Not only was this frustrating, whenever we called the Customer Service we kept getting referred back to the Best Buy to deal with the situation. Needless to say, I have missed 2 days of work for 2 deliveries that could not have been made. I actually just called to confirm a scheduling for our measurements for the other products, but it turns out they can't schedule it -- and of course didn't think to tell us that but of course they charged us for it! This review is strictly for delivery only! It's honestly too bad I experienced this type of service from the Pacific Sales delivery guys because my buying experience with Nelson was superb!! The delivery guys were extremely rude. When they arrived, I kindly cautioned them of pending improvements we had ongoing in the house. They presented themselves as rude individuals who clearly did not want to listen to the customer. When they went upstairs to take measurements, they took every option and every excuse in the book not to bring the fridge into the house. WTF! I pay for a $3k+ fridge and all I get is BS?!! When they were adding the doors to the fridge, my husband noticed that the doors were improperly placed and misaligned. The lead delivery guys answers: "That's how it is!" Ummm....no sir....that is clearly not how the door should be assembled. He finally realized and did it over. What I didn't appreciate was his overly rude attitude and condescending demeanor!!!!! BIG BOX vs. LOCAL: BIG BOX WINS I'm always weary of responding to companies with lots of advertising via radio and print and I'm a big supporter of local merchants vs. chain. But I have to give kudos and high-5's to Pacific Sales. We worked hard to determine what type of range we were interested in and settled on the Thermador. Before even considering Pacific Sales, we went to 3 other local retail places to look and try out the appliances. Two of the places were showrooms with no actual product on display and one place had curmudgeons for sales people. Someone mentioned Pacific Sales so we went to the Best Buy store in Colma. I had to do a double-take since this is my first time looking for a Pacific Sales in the Best Buy store. The first sales associate was really knowledgeable and gave us all the time we needed and answered a ton of questions (about an hour). He recommended that we go to Percel Murray in Brisbane which is a showroom of Thermador products to see a live demo of the range. We came back to Pacific Sales with another couple who was doing the lengthy research we did and they also settled on the Thermador. We went to the sales person whom my friend was working with and had a ton more questions, comparisons and explanations of the range and dishwasher. (Thermador has a promotion: buy the range, get a free Thermador dishwasher through 12/2013). We were there for over 90 minutes and finally made our purchases. This sales associate was just as knowledgeable and patient as he worked with two crazed couples buying the same products. Why not mention names of the associates? For the most part, they all have a good knowledge base of the product. I don't want to pit one against another and while shopping, I've felt free to change sales persons based on how I've been handled and how they've responded. New washer/dryer was installed today. Overall, the experience was great. Pacific Sales had a sale on my 24" LG washer/dryer combo a few weeks ago. I didn't have all the funds to purchase the set at the time, but they let me put a down payment to hold the sale price as this set NEVER goes on sale; I know because I've been waiting for two years for some sort of sale! 2 weeks later, I paid the balance and scheduled for Tuesday delivery. Due to work conflicts, I had to reschedule for Wednesday (today). I received a call from dispatch 30 mins before delivery and Mauricio called upon arrival. Removal of old washer/dryer and install of new was completed successfully, including clean unpack of appliances on the street to avoid a mess in the building and my place. Only down side is the actual scheduling of the delivery window. They don't call or confirm the delivery window until the night before so I couldn't give work a more finite notice until after work hours and had to clear my day of meetings. My only suggestion is a better delivery scheduling system to give people the ability to schedule their own time better. I will definitely go back to Pacific Sales for the next big appliance. I like Pacific Sales located inside Best Buy in Colma, BUT ....... I have had dishwasher leakage for about a week. It is only 4 years old. Pacific Sales at Best Buy in Colma sold me an extended warranty with Warrantech. Now Best Buy uses the Geek Squad and discontinued Warrantech. They gave me an 888 number who then referred me to a third party company Continental Appliance. I scheduled an appointment with the 888 number. Mailbox at Continental Appliance was full and I could not get through to Continental Appliance. I finally got a call and they cancelled my existing appointment because technician's personal vehicle was not working. They only have one trained technician. I asked if tech could rent a car. They wanted to schedule me for the following Wednesday instead of Thursday of this week. In the meantime I have water leaking under cabinets. They said if tech could not fix and it needed parts it would have to be ordered which would take more time. In the meantime I have water under the cabinets. I asked them this morning if they could get tech out sooner and they said Saturday morning. So the "extended warranty" Pacific Sales at Best Buy sold me isn't worth much when you need it. Best Buy chose Warrantech as their extended warranty company. I feel they should send out Geek Squad because of the time it is taking to get someone out here and fix. Best Buy and Pacific Sales say they having nothing to do with this warranty. So the extended warranty that Best Buy sells isn't worth much. read more

Wish I had purchased the 2 year Best Buy Pacific appliance warranty for the 1st microwave for 2 years 24 mos. for 40.00 dollars, salesman would of replaced my microwave for free in the store. My solenoid blew on my old microwave, must of had a defect from the beginning the sound of microwave on old machine was louder, when turned on. I had called manufacturer they told me some microwaves are louder when turn on, which the new one is very quiet. It's too early to rate the reliability of the appliances so my 5 stars is for the sales rep who helped us. A third party delivery company was used and we were not given a steam kit when the items were delivered. We didn't realize this until the next day and when I called, Cliff went out of his way to get us a replacement kit so we were able to install the washer/dryer the next day, Saturday. I should have read the reviews before purchasing. The only good part was Tak who sold me my washer and dryer but the rest of my experience with pacific sales has been total crap. They installed the unit and told me I was all set. Except for the fact when I did my laundry the dryer was not heating. I paid the extra warranty called customer service and am getting no help. They can't get anyone out to check it out for over a week! I called them 1 hour after they came to install it. It's 3 days later they haven't given me a ring back. When I called the reps are rude and pass me along to random other departments. I still don't have it fixed and they still can't tell me when they will have someone coming to fix it. Worst experience ever!!!!!!! Update: after bringing me the wrong model as a replacement without letting me know they bring me the correct model. But it's defective AGAIN!!!! I did a lot of research on front loading washers and dryers, and went to several competitors' stores before I bought from Pacific Sales Oz (the salesman) was the most knowledgeable appliances sales reps I've met, and they was also the most flexible in getting me the price I needed (which ended up being cheaper than all the other big box stores AND cheaper than online). Oz even gave us a good recommendation for Chinese food in Pacifica. I'm 100% satisfied and will definitely go back to Pacific Sales when I need new appliances. P.S. This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am in a large condo complex, the Beacon in San Francisco. Our HOA organized an appliance replacement process for which they chose Pacific Appliance. About 10 owners ordered new appliances from them. Pacific took months to deliver ( and counting since some still have not been delivered). They charged us the complete cost upfront and then held our money for 4 months or more without delivery. When they finally delivered they did not install the appliances and take away the old ones even though we paid for those services. Now they are completely unresponsive to our issues and are unreachable by phone or email. I now have a big box containing a dishwasher sitting in our living room for the past month, and we have no idea when or if they will finally provide the services we paid for. I am in the process of organizing our group of owners to take action against this company. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! By the way, you should note that there are MANY reviews in Yelp about terrible customer service fom Pacific, always answered by one of their customer support staff who says "just contact us and we will fix your issue". I have had no luck getting them to actually help. The best way to fix issues with Pacific is to not buy from them in the first place. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER GOTTEN! The inventory selection, prices and knowledgeable sales people were great. And then it went down the hill. We bought our fridge on Tuesday, after confirming with the sales guy that they will deliver and install it on Thursday afternoon/evening. On Wed night we got a call from a (very rude) dispatch person who was scheduling our delivery for noon. They had no clue we specifically asked for afternoon, and had no interest in working with us to make that happen. So we had to push it out one more day, to Friday after noon. So, the delivery team showed up at 7pm. They looked at our setup, and basically freaked out when they saw we have copper pipes. "They're not allowed to touch them". OK , I get it, you don't do copper. But do you think you should have brought that up BEFORE selling us the equipment? Furthermore, they gave us no instruction as to what we have to do next. And the magical customer service rep that was supposed to follow up never did. So I called the store for clarification, and they were equally defensive, and basically told me I have to get a plumber on the side to "install". What does this "install" constitute? Could not get an answer to save my life. And, given that they dropped this on me on Friday night, as opposed to Thursday afternoon, I have a small window where I can do something about it, before it turns into 3 more days without a fridge. I cant afford to wait for your amazing staff to get back to me 5 days later. Also apparently, when this plumber shows up, I should remove the old fridge by myself, and deliver the new one on my own? WTF people? (Turns out, the plumber confirmed our setup was good to go and there was NOTHING that needed to be done. So, we ended up installing everything ourselves, and have yet to get that call back from Pacific Sales to follow up). This is the worst customer service I've ever gotten, especially after dropping $3500+ on a fridge. Are you freaking kidding me with this? You can FORGET about the Viking stove we were looking at. In this economy and day and age, there's no place for HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE like this. I'm your customer. Very friendly people, especially the delivery guys. But, they screwed up the scheduling time of my delivery - twice. They damaged the range curb-side and forgot to bring the power cord for the dishwasher. I refused delivery of the damaged range. When I called to ask for a refund, they told me I had to wait until the next day. They wasted a lot of my time. I will never do business with Pacific Sales again. Chapter 2. Since I had already paid for the power cord, I had asked the Pacific Sales rep to get the cord to the store and I would pick it up. He offered to have it delivered but I said after two scheduling debacles, I was not going to waist any more time waiting around. He said no problem. He said I could go to the store on September 30 to pick up the power cord. Five hours later, I got an email from Best Buy confirming that they would deliver the power cord on October 5 -- not to the store but to my home. Best Buy also confirmed that they would deliver the range at the same time -- the same range that I had canceled just 5 hours earlier. It's hard to imagine they could be any less competent. These appliances are sold by several retailers, at pretty much the same price. The only thing that distinguishes one seller from the another is customer service. Rich, Melissa, and OZ are the 3 greatest employee's to exist! They are extremely knowledgeable and know how to deliver customer service. Now the warehouse/delivery/installation people are the most awful of people and on the complete opposite end of the spectrum, the fact that those 3 people were so amazing make Pacific Sales in Colma one of the best places I have ever been for appliances! Go and ask for any of them and they will take care of you like you are their next of kin. Honestly did not know that customer service to their extent still exists. I am glad it does! I wish I could remember the guy at the Pacific Sales store in San Francisco show room, but he was a great gentleman as well and helped us pick out our sink! If you read the glowing 5* reviews they are due to people who have no issues. Otherwise, if they are unfortunate like my husband and myself, who purchased a totally defective Kitchenaid fridge, you wish you could award negative stars. There is zero customer service once the sale is done. What one doesn't realize at first is that Pacific Sales are a 3rd party that's doing business within Best Buy who they contract with obviously. Once once you step foot into their area to peruse any appliance, well, within a couple of minutes a salesman will be on your tail. And they will tell you anything you want to hear. However, their information is hardly accurate when you actually research what you're told. They'll try and upsell you like they did with us too. And if you believe them and decide to purchase from them they'll be accommodating at point of sale. And the best part: They staple their business cards to your sales receipt. My question is why give any business cards at all to customers?? Because if you have any issues after the sale they will never answer their phones (which claim to be direct telephone numbers). You can call the alternative phone number(s) listed on their business cards yet they will never answer. Possibly after maybe 10 rings some other salesman will answer and claim that 'your' salesman is with a client. So you think that you'll leave a voicemail message, however, that never gets replied to. Email them? Because they do provide their individual email addresses on the business cards. But email messages get ignored as well. In addition, because even the stupid company, Kitchenaid, puts customers on indefinite hold on the customer service line given in the fridge's brochure, we returned to Pacific Sales in order to get a credit (which isn't even refunded yet until they repossess the fridge which they cannot due to their own schedule so we have to wait 2 weeks for this). If anyone has been without a working fridge for 2 weeks straight one is in a bad situation. All of our food both frozen and refrigerated was spoilt within 24 hours of this piece of crap (Kitchenaid) dying (i.e. compressor failed). Thus, we are out hundreds for the loss of food plus another $200 as we had to purchase a mini fridge to tide us over til we get the next fridge. And since the mini fridge is so tiny we have to continually buy bags of ice to put in two coolers to keep the foodstuff fresh. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND HIGHLY HIGHLY INCONVENIENT. As well as the original $1,900 for the piece of junk until they decide to refund us once they get back the junk in their possession. Sure. It's only $, but it's our $ and we're not millionaires like some who would not care. So with this lousy, unprofessional servicepeople who could care less about customers we do NOT recommend Pacific Sales if you want to purchase any major appliances. Because once the sale is finished you will never receive any acknowledgment if you've got issues. And Best Buy could care less too. read more

We bought our Electrolux cooktop early this year and we'd never heard of this European brand 'til the sales guy (Ka Man Chan) introduced and recommended this brand to us. He seemed to be very knowledgeable on the appliances at the Pacific Sales kitchen section. He's patient to explain whatever questions we had. We've been using the Electrolux cooktop for a few months now and it seems to be fine. So, today we went to look for a new fridge and another stove for our upstair and here we go....the same sales guy (Ka Man Chan) was there...he did recognize us and again..he's so patient and knowledgeable about the products...told us the pros and cons between different brands...we're very pleased and satisfied w/ the service that we got from him.
