I sure wish I lived closer to this restaurant because I would go there often. I ordered the stuffed flounder with crawfish étouffée topping. It was absolutely amazing. First of all...if you haven't been...go. Stop everything and go. We need to support this place to help them stay open. I will say that when reading their menu, it didn't seem to really grab me...just typical seafood...nothing fancy. However absolutely everything we ordered (which was a lot) was awesome!!!! My mother in law ordered the a dozen raw oysters ($15.99 a dozen!!)...these were HUGE. One was at least 6 inches long. I am not kidding. She also ordered a pacific cheese burger and fries, and she said it was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. We started with a bowl of shrimp chowder ($6.99 for a huge bowl), which was really delicious...full of tiny shrimp, corn, carrots, potatoes etc. and topped with two large grilled shrimp with the tails on. My hubby ordered the seafood pasta ($17.99). It was a huge plate that was stacked with all different kind of seafood, tomatoes, mushrooms etc. The sauce was light, more like a light scampi sauce. He loved it. My daughter ordered the grilled salmon. It was served with grilled veggies, seasoned rice, and a really good lemon butter sauce. She really enjoyed it and didn't leave a bite of salmon on the plate. And I ordered a dozen of the grilled oysters. Perfectly grilled with butter and parm cheese. They were huge. I had to cut them into pieces to eat them. Also was served with toasted bread pieces to slop up the oyster juicy goodness. I last had the prestige oyster at Pier 6 and found that these at Pacific seafood were just as good and perhaps even a little better in my opinion...and the price point was great! Between Topwater grill, gillhooleys and pier 6 there is no shortage of great seafood restaurants in San Leon/ Galveston area. But this place is right up there with the best of them and I think they will give all of their competitors a run for their money. So, if you have never been I encourage you to go. The food is flavorful, cooked perfect, reasonably priced which is a huge plus, and good size portions. Service is fantastic the times we have been. Ask for sherry or Lorenzo. They will take great care of you. I ordered the special. I'm not sure what exactly it was called but when I sat down the man next to me recommend it. It was a white fish with a cream sauce, artichokes, mushrooms and capers. Rice pilaf, grilled shrimp and asparagus cooked perfectly. My husband has the seafood stuffed salmon and it was also very tasty. Stuffed jalapeños are some of my favorite around served with homemade ranch. Went to this restaurant yesterday for dinner and got one of the daily special for myself and my husband. When we walked in it was written on the board as $18.99 next to the description of what it was. When we checked out they changed the price to $28.99 on my check and erased it off the board. I spoke to the manager about it and she admitted it was wrong on my check and they should have changed it in the computer. She took my information and told me the owner would have to refund me because she was unable to do so. She offered us a piece of cake, which is ridiculous, I'd like my 20 bucks....not cake. We declined the cake and left on good faith the owner would reach out. I have not heard from her as of yet and when I just called I was given the run around on when she would be there. We really wanted to like this place but unfortunately this happened. Hopefully the owner makes things right and gets in touch with us ASAP. I will update here when and if we are refunded. read more

Do not be fooled by the outside or the outdated inside! Looks are very deceiving and this place is absolutely delicious. My husband, toddler and I have been there several times now and from the burgers to the seafood, it has all been very good and fresh. Went tonight and they now have snow crab legs! I'm not for sure for how long but run don't walk. It's not heavily seasoned crab for those that like vietcajun style crab, but served with just simple lemon wedges and drawn butter. Also, every time, the service has been very genuine and from just some happy to be there folks but also very attentive. The folks working here were really nice. However, my fried catfish was on the raw side. My husbands stuffed flounder was undercooked as well. I did let them know that my food was not done. My husband said his was fine because he didn't want to tell them the truth. He just said he was never coming back. The manager/owner? Did come over and apologize and offer to replace my dinner and offered fried shrimp instead. So he tried to make it right. I was kind of grossed out by the raw food at that point and declined. After reading several reviews about how good the food is at this restaurant in San Leon (south of Kemah), my wife, daughter, and I decided to make the drive to this lunch location. And the drive was worth it! Our daughter started with a dozen oysters and I asked for a small dinner salad. The oysters were on the small side and the salad was on the huge side. My ranch dressing appeared to be home made and was very thick, not runny like a lot of places - it was good, but not "ranchy" enough for me. Then came our fried seafood - our daughter and I had the same thing - the lunch trio, while my wife had the fried shrimp. The coating on the fish, shrimp, and oysters was a light, seasoned coat of deliciousness that enhanced the flavor of the seafood rather than weight it down or over power it. Truly delicious and unlike any other fried seafood coating I've ever had. We all raved about how great the food was. Really enjoyed the accompanying cole slaw as well, but I was surprised when our orders didn't come with fries (shoestring fried onion instead). I ordered an order we shared, and everyone enjoyed those as well. Then when we received our check, we were pleased about how reasonable the cost was. I had heard rave reviews about this place. So we decided to go check it out for lunch. The server was good and curtious, we only had tea although there is a bar. My friend ordered the fried shrimp poboy, I ordered the seafood gumbo. My friend said it was ok, nothing to get excited about but the shrimp was spicy. The menu did not say it was spicy. I tasted one of his shrimp and it was spicy! Tasted like chili powder was in the shrimp batter. The gumbo was overly spicy also. Only thing I could taste was chili powder. It contained of rue, shrimp and fish. Didn't see any veggie like okra. We couldn't even eat the French fries that came with the poboy because it was covered in season salt. Fries listed on menu did not state they were seasoned. My friend was getting ready to take another bite, he saw a hair in the fried batter of a shrimp 1/2 way into his sandwich. A couple of my shrimp still had the shells on them. My friend called the waitress over, showed her the hair and suggested she tell the cook. That was the only issue we reported. Next thing we know we are getting our check, charged full price for everything but there was a Thank You Card with the check. We assumed it was for a discount on our next visit. When we got in the car, took a closer look at the card....it was for a free fried zucchini with a purchase of $15 or more!!!! That was it! No apologies, offer to prepare the poboy again. NOTHING! This is not on the server and we tipped her 20% but this is on the manager/owner! Shame on you for horrible customer service! Will never go there again. Although, we had pretty much decided this place was not for us with all our food being so spicy. That night I was telling my girlfriend about my experience at Pacific Seafood, she said she went there once and won't go back. Been here three times within the past month and can't get enough of it!! Everything is soo affordable and so fresh it amazes me. $7 dozen raw oysters on monday and tuesdays but make sure to call and double check. Many places with oyster specials on certain days dont have the best oysters but these oysters cant be beat. Also the oysters rockefeller and grilled oysters are great!! Bowl of seafood gumbo was so good. Lots of places have very bland gumbo but this gumbo was great and only $9 for a bowl with lots of seafood. Omg and the bread pudding was 10/10!!! I havent tried anything that I didn't like so far. Also the service is great. The servers are very fast and friendly as well as knowledgeable of the menu and specials. read more

Includes coleslaw, fries and onion strings -- all excellent. Every bit as good or if not better than Tookies. Price is very reasonable. Talked with the proprietor and told him how much we enjoyed his food and that we would be back. I also told him our only negative was the over-grown landscaping that needs to be cleaned up that makes a poor first impression when driving up. Wow! So excited to find this place. We were in from DFW and are staying in Seabrook. After an afternoon at Kemah boardwalk we didn't want to pay for overpriced food in boardwalk we searched and were originally headed to a different place but I saw this and decided to give it a try. Food was amazing. I'm the only person in my family of 4 who likes seafood and this place was perfect! We shared the calamari appetizer and everyone enjoyed it. Onion and jalapeño burger was amazing. Kids chicken basket was enough to feed both kids and left overs. Fish po boy was good. Service was amazing! Our server was so friendly and attentive. It was calm and kid friendly. The add has a picture of a dog so we thought it was dog friendly, seeing we have two service dogs. The place was empty, and I mean EMPTY.... We were told no dogs by the greater at the door. She said no dogs allowed. We explained they were trained Service Dogs and we would go out to the car to get their Service Dog outfits. She said she would ask the manager. The manager came out and said they did not allow dogs and that our dogs did not even look like Service Dogs and that we were not welcomed and would not be served!! What makes him an expert in recognizing a service dog? We even said we would go out to the car and get their Service Dog outfits. Still no joy.. Talk about being Mad..... And I still am..... I will never enter that establishment again or recommend the Pacific Grill no mater the ratings it holds. One thing to be turned away but to not offer service on a Empty afternoon is another. Brenda introduced herself and told us about the specials, answered our questions. She is very attentive and helpful. We ordered our food and when it came it it looked very good, the presentation was excellent. We both agreed the food was delicious and the value is excellent. We stopped here while out for a drive. My husband had the fried catfish and mom had the fried shrimp. Both said they were excellent. I eat plant based so I had the garden salad. It came with cheese on it and the owner was very accommodating. He remade the salad and then brought me a side of avocado slices which was such a nice gesture.
