A wonderful little restaurant that sells great fresh sandwiches, pizza, and pasta dishes!

Excellent sandwiches and fresh pasta! The Padua special sandwich is to die for, as are the pastries. We will definitely be visiting again!

Love this place. Super cute inside, great staff. And the food is fresh and delicious! I've tried the pink sauce and it's super yum. The sandwiches are amazing! Saw this in Yelp so thought I would buy my pasta fresh there. The store is clean and very cute. A pound was $5 which was OK. But had to wait at least 5 minutes to have a cashier wait on me. I will try their food next visit read more

I love this place. Great people running it. Probably the best roast beef sandwich I've ever had. Delicious fresh pasta the way it's supposed to taste. Tons of Italian and other sundries in their market area and a great authentic NY black and white cookie just like I would get back east. I wish I lived closer...I'd be here every week. read more

Wonderful, fresh, quality, would be how i describe this place. It is really a charming inside, really charming. They put some money into the place for sure. The real star is the food. Food is good like how they have jam and spreads to sell. Just hate how rude the cashier Jackie was which is very unfortunate as it keeps me back from going there. She had smart remarks towards me when I just asked for a bag and she said she only has two hands give her a minute to think maybe they should have her in the back somewhere doing something else because everything about her has that unwelcoming vibe. read more

Based on reviews on this page, I went to Padua Pasta Makers today, to buy lasagna for dinner. I was disappointed-the sauce was so bland, tasteless, hardly any flavor at all. None of the normal flavors you would expect in a sauce: oregano, basil, etc. were absent. The garlic bread was buttery, but very little garlic flavor. The store itself is beautiful, and I would go back again and try something else like a dessert or a sandwich. But other than that, I am not sure. Staff was friendly and efficient. Maybe just an off day-I know consistency in the food business is a challenge. read more

Looks good when you first walk in but the food is mediocre at best sadly. Also you'll wait for quite a while even for simple things like sandwiches. Calling in an order will still get you around the same wait. They'll usually have around 10 people behind the counter (no exaggeration) and you'll still wait 15 maybe 20 minutes sometimes for a sandwich. The staff are mostly young women who are not overly friendly and sometime will be very inhospitable and I've observed stare at some of the customers strangely. Its really got a great look on the insides but their deli counter is very disappointing and its just kind of a let down. read more

I am sad because I really want to review them higher. I love the concept and actually love the store --- but the customer service sucks. I ordered 4 items and it took forever. However once they called my name, they just placed the items on the counter. I asked for a bag and the girl behind the counter just said- oh they are over there-- like 20 feet away at the cashier. I had to lug multiple items over in several trips just to get a bag. Oh, and nobody was at the cashier so I had to grab the bag myself. Boo. read more

So glad this little shop is open near us, it's the type of shop that you'd usually find in West Los Angeles. Hand made pasta, pizza and sandwiches, beautiful deserts and a great selection of wine, olive oil and sauces. It's the perfect spot to make that beautiful Italian dinner. I did not get to try the food because I waited 10 minutes before I walked out. I was not even acknowledged, even though a few employees looked strait at me. I get that it's brand new, and things are going to be hectic...but please, learn some customer service skills. read more

Let me start off by saying that the food is very good. I have no problem with the food. The problem I had was with their staff!! Horrible customer service!! Very cranky!! I had a child with me whom I was sharing some spaghetti with.... I asked the cashier for an extra plate (not an uncommon request) she tells me we don't give away plates, I replied, I will pay for it, to which she rolls her eyes and gives me a container. The entire time we were there (a group of 6 people who spent over $80) we were given dirty looks and stares! Needless to say I will never be returning. read more

Best sandwiches ever! I call in my order for lunch and it's ready within ten minutes. It's five minutes walking distance from my work. Love me some Padua Pasta Makers! Everything I've ever tried here is top notch. The costumer service is through the roof. They love to give you samples of anything and everything. My girlfriend loves the chocolate chip cookies here. She claims they are the best in the world, and she is a self proclaimed cookie Expert. It can be a little pricey, but it's worth it! read more

Padua Pasta Makers is the best! Maria and her team have always gone above and beyond with customer service. They make you feel like you're part of the family, which is awesome. Any time my family and I have needed catering, they always had it ready for us in a very timely manner. The sandwiches & pasta are always super fresh and taste amazing! I've never had one complaint for Padua Pasta Makers, and will definitely continue to recommend it to any friends in the Inland Empire area. I'm going to live here. All my favorites are in the house (which is decorated with keen attention to detail). You can get cold cuts any way you want on their homemade breads. The salami and Padua Special are klutch. I'm a fan of the options here: shop or dine in an upscale Italian market which is nicer than nearby staple, Claro's. I hope they'll have eggplant on the menu more regularly, but I'm excited to spread the word! read more

I live about a mile away from Padua Pasta Makers. I have stopped by a handful of times to buy their egg pastas. I love the taste and texture; they are always fresh and they pair nicely with any sauce! I have also dined in a few times with my girlfriend. She loves their lasagna,which is hardy and flavorful. I prefer buying their raw pasta and making the sauce myself. The sauces at Padua are good, but they are a little salty for my taste. We both loved their sadwiches. I think we tried their house special. It had a variety of tasty meats between an even more impressive italian roll. The setting inside if very bright and vibrant. They have a modest selection of imported drinks, cheeses and other treats that are worth trying. I love their display windows where you can see their raw pastas, cooked pastas, deli selection and homemade desserts. I haven't had their desserts, but I look forward to trying them in the future. I don't remember anything outstanding about the service, but it wasn't terrible either. All in all this place is a treat and I definitely recommend giving it a try! read more

This place has amazing fresh pasta, delicious sauces, and savory meats to go with them. They also have fresh baked breads, an assortment of salads, and really yummy assorted desserts. Every time I bring home their food, I'm never disappointed. Their meatballs are gigantic, and are my favorite. Also they have a great selection of gourmet dry goods, jarred foods (olives, for example), and cold drinks (like Dr. Browns soda), and wine. I remember reading a small newspaper article about this placing opening up. I wasn't sure how it was going to do considering there is another Italian market competitor fairly close by. When Padua finally opened, I was so excited to check out all they had to offer! Now our whole family had been converted! Their bread is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! My favorite sandwich is the Frenchie: goat cheese, arugula, and a fig spread...need I say more?! Their pesto pasta salad is delish, especially because it's made with their homemade pasta! We've also purchased their pasta and brought it home to make for dinner. It was very fresh and you can definitely tell a difference between that and the boxed. Oh, and their customer service is superb. It can get pretty busy at times, but it is ALWAYS worth the wait. I highly recommend! read more

Been coming here for years but am writing a long overdue review. The food here is phenomenal. No doubt about that. I will say this is my favorite place to come for sandwiches. The bread is made fresh everyday, and they certainly don't hold back on the meat ( any hints subway?). Have had the Padua special, the roast beef , and the hot pastrami. All these sandwiches are wonderful, and they have the best pastrami in upland. I would review each sandwich, but there all so damn good that my only suggestion is to come in and try anyone. You won't be disappointed. Next is there cannolis. I love cannolis , and makes a great dessert when paired with a sandwich. And not only that, the design and atmosphere of the place is awesome. It is immaculately clean, has wines, food and Italian wares for sale, with just a few tables inside, which give the place a cozy feel. Just like a local old town deli. Stop on in folks. Nice enough deli. I ordered the sausage sandwich and it was terrible. The sausage was microwaved or boiled but never saw the bottom of a pan same with the pepper. Six inch sandwich one small sausage part of a red bell pepper and cheese. Did I say only one small sausage? No marinara sauce. No part of Italian food I grew up with in NY. Their policy on pizza by the slice on Friday would be great if they actually had pizza after 130 in the afternoon unfortunately they only make so many it's gone it's gone I guess they expect people to buy their pizza when they open otherwise you're not going to get a name read more

First impression, great little deli with imported items from canned tomatoes to olive oil. Definitely a confusing set up with practically nowhere to sit down and eat but we found a place. Ordered the sausage sandwich, it was excellent, fresh hearty bread, fresh peppers and delicious sausage. Will definitely come back, hopefully they work out all the kinks regarding service. Can't imagine what the place looks like crowded but overall very charming, been waiting for a place like this for a long time. read more
