I have been meaning to try Paik's Noodle for a long time so I'm glad I finally did. We ordered the jjajangmyeon, chicken fried rice and soy garlic wings. Our main dishes came with pickled daikon, raw onions and some soybean based paste similar to the jjajangmyeon sauce. Everything tasted delicious. But I went for the jjajangmyeon because its one of my favorite Noodle dishes and they did not disappoint. It was savory and a little sweet and the noodles were nice & chewy as they should be. It was so filling and they gave a good portion so I had enough to take home with me. They have more than enough seating and the parking lot area where its located provides ample parking as well. Cannot wait to come back and try their tangsuyuk and other dishes!

This spot has been a place I've wanted to try in a while and it didn't disappoint! I really enjoyed all of our meals because it felt homemade and comforting. The service was amazing as well and super fast. This spot is very spacious with lots of seating as well. Food -- Meat Jajangmyeon 10/10 -- I could've gotten it without meat but overall very great with the side dishes! Tangsuyuk (Pork) 10/10 -- so crispy and yummy! They bring out the sauce separately from the fried pork. Hong Kong Wings in Soy & Garlic Sauce 10/10 -- the wings were quite small but overall, the wings were super soft and crispy. It was fried to perfection I would definitely come back again because the food was great and the service!

Well, I have never tried Korean food like this before, like... so delicious. I stopped by at Paik's Noodle Aurora for dinner and this place did not disappoint me. The food was incredible delicious, every dish I ordered was flavorful and very tasty, I was amazed by Korean cuisine. Wow... I was really surprise for the quality of the food and how fresh everything tasted. The service was phenomenal, the servers were so attentive all the time. They stopped by to offered us more water and hot tea. The whole place was so nice and neat. Every table and chair were clean. The bathroom was spotless and the whole experience was spectacular, Their customer service is top notch. I'm definitely brining my in laws and kiddos next time. Everything was on point. I totally recommend this hidden gem. 10/10

One thing about this place is consistency. It always tastes exactly how it should which is absolute perfection. We actually crave the noodles and chicken here and come monthly. Highly recommend!

Overall: 4.5 stars for the food and service. This is a good place to get an affordable quick meal. Quality of food is great for the price and service is quick and efficient. This is a good place to try Korean Chinese food! Also great to try if you're a fan of Culinary class Wars! The Service: We came at an odd hour (4pm on a Sunday) and the store was relatively empty. There was no wait. The waiter attentive and checked on us often. The Food: Tangsuyuk: This came out perfectly crispy and the pork was tender and not too chewy. The sweet & sour sauce was perfectly made and complimented it well. Jjampong: Perfectly spicy and the noodles were perfectly cooked. There was a lot of noodles and meat/seafood in the dish. Price: Very reasonably priced for Korean food. Food was extremely filling and we had leftovers. The Atmosphere: Casual dining restaurant, good for a casual dinner or lunch. Parking: Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking.

This restaurant was nearby and so we headed here for a quick, casual family lunch. Paik's is a Korean Chinese fusion restaurant chain by famous television host and chef, Jong Won Paik. Their simple, but tasty dishes marry the spices and flavors of Korea and China wonderfully. We ordered the jajangmyeon, meat jajangmyeon, jaengban jjajang, and tangsuyuk. Yesss, noodles on noodles on noodles. Each dish is meant to be shared, family style, especially the jaengban jajang which was a huge portion. I really liked the meat jajangmyeon, but the jaengban jjajang was definitely the stand out. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the toppings were delicious with the seafood being my favorite. It was a bit spicy for me, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. The tangsuyuk was pretty standard, but tasty as well with the perfect balance of sweet and sour. The sauce comes separate and can get a little messy, but overall good dish. Everything came out really quickly and the service was prompt and on point. We enjoyed our meal here and were pleasantly surprised. The dishes were priced pretty reasonably and they also have alcohol available. I would definitely come back here in the future.

The waitress was really nice and attentive. It wasn't the busy for a week day lunch. I got the seafood noodles soup and extra spicy for an extra dollar. The flavor was pretty good but I think regular spicy would be a better option for me. There was very little seafood or veggies in the bowl but a lot of noodles! I couldn't finish all the carbs! My friend got the black bean sauce noodles and hers were much more tasty than mine.

We came here for dinner with a few friends on Friday evening and pleasantly wasn't as crowded. We got a booth and started with a few beers. For apps got all 3 available options - 2 types of wings and the fried dumplings (Ganmandu). I liked the fried dumplings a lot and particularly enjoyed the soy garlic wings. Very flavourful yet juicy. For mains, we got the Tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), it came with fried pork in a plate and the sauce separate which was nice so we could enjoy the crispy pork. It was spicy and the sourness was actually pleasant and went well with the crispy pork. We also got the Jjampong and Jajangmyeon for mains. My friends and my husband really enjoyed the Jjampong, it was spicy and came piping hot. It had seafood and since I am allergic to shellfish, I just tasted a spoonful of the broth - it was very tasty. The jajangmyeon was alright, as someone who's actually tried jajangmyeon in Seoul, I did not enjoy it as much. I love Jajangmyeon and thought it was on the sweeter side. I even make it at home and prefer it a with a hint of spice. Overall we liked the food and will probably be back for the apps.

Ordered the beef jjamppong. Noodles cooked well. However the meat was well over cooked and seemed like they just threw in the sliced meat without separating it, so it was quite chunky. Also ordered the sweet and sour pork. Breading was unique however the sauce was overly sweet for my preference. Recommend ordering with some rice.

Jjajangmyeon (Noodles with Black Bean Sauce)
    David C.

Jjajangmyeon is a Korean/Chinese dish that is noodles with black bean sauce made from chunjang (sauce), diced pork, and vegetables (typically healthy portion of onions and cucumbers. It is undoubtedly one of my favorite dishes, period! If you haven't tried it yet, you need to. For some background, Paik is the last name of Paik Jong-Won who is a South Korean chef turned very successful business man and entrepreneur. He owns a plethora of food chains in South Korea that all have raving reviews for their great food quality, excellent service, and prices. Colorado has been lacking a wide choice of jjajangmyeon spots until recently where we have seen at least a couple that come to mind pop up. Score! Paik's is a fantastic addition to that lineup. As mentioned before, Paik's restaurants are known for food quality, service, and prices which all hit the target here. I highly recommend the jjajangyeon and tangsuyuk (fried sweet and sour pork) for a delicious mix of savory noodles and sweet and sour crunchy pork. You can't beat it!

I have been driving by this place on my way to here and there and every time I drive by I think to myself, I should try that place! Well tonight was the night and I am so glad I did. The kids are at choir and the Hubby is working late, so I am all alone with this plate. I had their most popular Noodle Dish. Jaengban-jjajang. What a perfect night for slurpy saucy noodles: A little over cast and dreary. In here the flavors are bursting. The portion size is generous enough to be shared by 2, but I am kind of down right now. Something I was excited about didn't pan out. The world has gone insane. So tonight I am face first in a pile of the most delicious noodles I have had in a really long time. You only live once! In the words of a long lost friend, David Vincent Francis Dominique Desantis (Italian Catholic from NY): Eat the world before it eats you! Working on that, Dave! The noodles are made in house and hand cut and that I absolutely love! Nothing compares to fresh noodles! They're drenched in a delicious black bean sauce that is just spicy enough to leave warming tingles on your lips, almost like being kissed, but shouldn't kick back later. Recommend bringing a date and enjoying this place together! No bite goes with out a bit of seafood or pork and there are even some veggies, so you can skate by calling it a complete meal! Just Bless all the people who feed us their love and culture through the wonderful foods they prepare! Served with Picked Daikon, Extra Black Bean Paste and some fresh onions on the side. You can't go wrong with this one! I see some more visits in the near future!!! Also, this place has an attribute that Hubby and I look for in any Asian cuisine establisment... A mostly Asian clientele. That is kind of our Litmus Test for whether the place has some authenticity. We always like to look for the local and authentic, so we can support small business owners (we're snobby like that)!! I didn't expect to eat the whole thing, but here we are. Come on out Greater Denver area and show this Noodle House some love!!!

I've heard about this place for a while and we decided to go for a weekday dinner cause I was craving some black bean noodles. There weren't many people when we got there at 6pm but more people came in after while we were eating. We were sat down quickly and they took our orders pretty quickly as well. We got a tea and aprons to wear so our clothes wouldn't get dirty which was a pleasant surprise! We got bokkeummyeon (stir fried noodles with seafood and oyster sauce for $13.95), Hong Kong Wings in Soy & Garlic Sauce (5 piece but they gave us 6!! For $9.10), Jajangmyeon (black bean noodles for $10.95). The stir fried noodles were really good! It's similar to lomein and they give you a lot of seafood and noodles in there. We took some of this home cause we were stuffed after we finished the wings and black bean noodles. You can't go wrong with soy garlic wings. These were crispy and had good flavor to them! I've never had black bean noodles at a restaurant. I've made them following recipes online and the instant version and this was pretty good! You get some pickled radish, raw onions, and some more black bean paste on the side. The pickled radish was a nice pallette cleanser while eating this! I had a great time honestly and the workers were quick and nice. You go to the counter to checkout as well but it was a great experience overall!

Solid experience at this noodle shop. It was a little confusing when I walked in because I tried to place an order to eat in since there were no staff available but they asked me to have a seat and they'd take my order which was fine. Their wontons weren't spectacular but their noodles were on point. I love their black bean sauce the most!

That's a pretty strong endorsement. Also the interior of the restaurant was fairly modern and clean. For anyone unfamiliar with it, soondae (순대) is a traditional Korean blood sausage made by stuffing pork or beef intestines with a mixture of blood, glass noodles, rice or starch, and seasonings. It's one of Korea's most popular street foods and is typically enjoyed with salt or a dipping sauce. One thing to know before you go: this restaurant specializes in soup-based dishes. Every entrée revolves around soup, including the bulgogi. I had never seen bulgogi served in a broth before, so it was a pleasant surprise for both my boyfriend and me. Most of the soups also included clear glass noodles and came in a wide variety of combinations, so there were plenty of options to choose from. One detail I really appreciated was their takeout packaging. If you have leftovers, they use a professional heat-sealing machine that applies a thin plastic seal over the container before the lid goes on. It's a thoughtful touch that keeps the soup leak-proof and makes transporting leftovers much easier. If you're craving authentic Korean comfort food--especially soondae soup--this place is definitely worth a visit.

At least for lunch combo, the thoughtful assortment of main dish and side dishes as well as soup of the day are very satisfactory. Their food is little bit more on a savory side compared to other Korean restaurants who use too many spices. Before I met Baekga, i was pretty disappointed in local franchises of Korean eateries in Colorado, but Baekga not only they have very calm and toned down atmosphere for pleasant meals, it is the venue I would actually bring my visitors to. The location is little far for me to explore their dinner menus but I would love to when I am nearby next time. Champagne kimchi was inspiring. I never had any kind of Kimchi taste like this. I really praise for the creativity. It would be a good pair with a variety of food such as charcuterie board, katsu, sausage dish, barbecue, and simple with wine! I personally liked Dakgangjeong, Beef radish soup (soup of the day), and champagne kimchi from my visit. Frankly, this venue maybe a polarizing Korean restaurant especially for Korean natives, but I personally think this venue deserves more recognition compared to other local Korean franchise in Denver/Aurora who just serve the food items but not the sincerity and/or creativity.

The meat is some of the best I've had in CO. It was very tender and fell off the bone very easily. The La galbi was so good and flavorful. When it's mixed with the onions and veggies and rice, everything tastes really good combined. I would skip on the pancakes because they were a little burnt. We saw a different one come out and it was also burnt. Otherwise, eat around because it's quite flavorful.

The interior was immediately green flags - l loved the decor and wood tones. It felt like I was in Korea! The menu is your typical pocha fare - soups, Korean pancakes, army stew, KBBQ meats. We ordered the jalapeño soy chicken wings, volcano pork, and the kimchi fried rice. My favorite was the chicken wings, really crunchy with good flavor and the wings were decently sized. The volcano pork came over a fire burner and cooked at our table. It was definitely pretty spicy but paired really well with the kimchi fried rice, which I thought could be spicier. The pork quality was ok but I really liked the flavors and the bean sprouts in the pot. I particularly love that K Pocha has zero sugar soju on the menu no sugar = no hangovers!) He didn't seem to speak the best English so we had to have one of our friends translate when we asked questions, but he was really nice and welcoming. K Pocha seems to be pretty new, so I will hopefully be back soon to support his business! I definitely want to try the army stew and the tofu soups.
