Ever since Yuxiang closed, I've been on the hunt for the best jjajangmyeon and jjampong in Vegas. I ordered the chili jjajangmyeon and a side of jjampong soup. The jjajang sauce was a little sweeter and plum-forward than I personally prefer, but the jjampong soup absolutely satisfied my craving. The flavors weren't quite as deep or wok-smoky as the Paik's in San Jose, but I'd definitely come back for the jjampong again! Great customer service, too! read more

Friendly service but this jjajjamyeon is one step away from instant. The frozen veggie mix was easy no notice with such a small amount of bland sauce. The jjampong was ok. The tangseuyuk was fine. $10.95 Jaijangmyeon Korean Chinese version (mix between sweet and savory, not too wet or dry) is my favorite version. This place does a decent job on it. It's just a tad more wet than I'm used to for Korean Chinese version. Located in H Mart's Food Court among other food stalls. I grew up with the Korean Chinese and Northern Chinese versions. I've only tried jaijiangmyepn in Vegas at Jin Jin which was amazing there. But this is a food court. The SO also go the Korean boneless chicken from BBQ Chicken stall. My family and I originally went inside K Mart Food Court Hall to get a ramen bowl, but after looking at a few different restaurants, we wanted to share a dish from Paik's Noodle restaurant! It's a casual Korean Chinese noodle shop that is one of many restaurants within H Mart's food hall. Paik's has been expanding rapidly throughout the U.S. as they bring popular Korean dishes such as jjajangmyeon (noodles in a rich black bean sauce) and jjamppong (a spicy seafood noodle soup) to customers that enjoys large flavors and comforting bowls for lunch or dinner! We stopped by Saturday around 11:00 A.M. While it is still a quick service restaurant, where you go up to the register to order and pay for food, grab a number, and then head to the shared dining area to eat! The items listed on the menu are dishes such as noodle dishes with large amounts of vegetables and protein, all sautéed and or served in very rich sauces. We shared the meat jajangmyeon (black bean noodles #3 option with meat) which is one of their most popular dish and the black bean sauce was thick and full of savory flavors that coated every noodle in that deep, rich umami taste. If you like a little heat they have a spicy seafood noodle soup available as well. The order did take awhile. We ended up waiting about 20 minutes for the number to be called. Paik's Noodle is a good option to stop into when looking for a quick bite while shopping for groceries at H Mart. Since Paik's shares the food court with many other vendors offering a variety of different items, it is easy to get a few different things to eat. Sorry, late review from earlier this week. Was down Sahara way and was craving some quick Korean food. I remembered that the H mart food hall had Paiks, the timing was right and even though there were several other Korean places in the plaza , I wanted something quick. Paik's Noodle is located at Sahara Pavilion South next to H Mart. You'll find them inside H Market Eatery Food Hall, across from Tiger Sugar. The shopping center has plenty of parking. Inside is super busy with good music playing, sound is perfect and not too loud. Menu is small and simple, they offer a nice selection of Korean-Chinese food, including jjajangmyeon, jjamppong, stir-fried noodles, as well as fried dumpling, fried rice, and they have vegetarian options. There's canned drinks and bottled water for beverage. Placing an order is easy. After payment, a ticket number is given and I was advised it will take approximately 10 minutes. I noticed they removed the bell notification sound at the food hall, and that's a sigh of relief. They made it simple to check with just a quick glance at the screen, it'll show the ticket number when the order is ready for pick up. Shrimp Fried Rice ($15.95) is absolutely delicious! The fried rice is a good portion, very flavorful, has small shrimp that's not deveined, with mixed veggies, comes with a side of yellow pickled radish, and jjajang sauce which is a thick, savory-sweet black bean sauce with sautéed onions, it's really good! Tried their jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) the other night. At $13.95, it's a generous portion, but it's mostly noodle and a LOT of vegetables. Comes with a small side of takuan (pickled daikon radish). As far as the seafood, there's a handful of tiny chopped up bits of overcooked octopus/squid, and there's also 2 mussels. Broth was spicy but otherwise lacking a bit in deep flavor. I also thought the noodles were just OK. Overall, I would not get their jjamppong again as there are plenty of other places that do it a lot better. When you order, they'll give you a number and when your food is ready you'll hear a chime overhead on the speakers. All the other food court shops use the sound system too, so to be sure, just look at the screen in front of the restaurant. The screen in front of each shop shows which numbers they've called. You grab your tray of food and bring it to your table yourself. When you're done, you're expected to return the tray and dishes back to the restaurant. DO bring your own water because there's no water station or cups in the food court, or expect to purchase drinks yourself. read more

I had been waiting for this one. Years ago I tried Paik's Noodle in Houston and was completely mesmerized, so when I heard they opened a Las Vegas location, I was genuinely excited. Finally made the visit and it absolutely delivered. This Paik's Noodle is located inside H Mart in Las Vegas, near Sahara Ave and Decatur Blvd, in the food court area. It has a cafeteria style setup with plenty of seating, which makes it perfect whether you are dining solo, with family, or coming in after grocery shopping. Since H Mart opened, parking in the plaza has actually gotten much more reasonable and manageable compared to before. For those who don't know, Paik's Noodle is part of the restaurant group founded by Korean celebrity chef Baek Jong-won. The brand is known for approachable, well executed Korean Chinese comfort food, especially jjajangmyeon. It is casual, fast paced, and focused on flavor. Now the food. The seasoning is completely on point. Not overly salty, not bland. Just balanced and deeply satisfying. I tried the jjajangmyeon, jjajangbap, and gunmandu. The jjajangmyeon had that rich, savory black bean sauce with just the right depth. The noodles were chewy and satisfying. The jjajangbap was comforting and generous with sauce, perfect if you prefer rice over noodles. The gunmandu were crispy outside, juicy inside, and not greasy at all. What impressed me most is that this is the kind of place that works for everyone. From toddlers to seniors, the flavors are accessible but not boring. It is well seasoned without being overpowering. Pricing is also very reasonable for the portions and quality, especially in Las Vegas where food prices can easily creep up. If you are already at H Mart doing a grocery run, this is absolutely worth the stop. Honestly, it might be worth the trip on its own. So happy Las Vegas finally has this. Came on a Friday evening, and the food court was very busy! Paik's noodle is pretty common throughout different H Mart, so I was excited to try this spot out to see how it compared to other places. It's not overly salty, but each bite of the meat, noodles, and veggies felt like I was at home again, eating my mom's soup - Definitely on the spicier side, so expect a little bit of heat when you get this dish. Welcome to Las Vegas, Paik! Paik's Noodle is a Chinese Korean restaurant chain from South Korea. They have many locations scattered through Korea and they have a good amount scattered across the US. California has the most Paik's locations in the US and now Las Vegas has their first. Chinese Korean restaurants are known for their jjajangmyeon (black bean sauce noodles), jjamppong (spicy seafood noodles), and tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) as they are the trifecta of the cuisine. Paik's Noodle is located inside the newly opened H Mart food court. Their menu options have a smaller variety than a regular sit down restaurant but it has the most important ones. My friends and I came this past Sunday for a late lunch. We walked right on into the food court, found a table, and scattered to order our food. My husband and I got an order of their jjajangmyeon, chili jjajangmyeon, and tangsuyuk. I think the wait for our food was about 15-20 minutes. Jjajangmyeon - Paik's version is classic, straight forward, and no frills. This is how jjajangmyeon should taste like. Jjajangmyeon has been around for quite some time and the recipe/cooking method for is the same anywhere you go (or should be). The noodles that they used were superb -- the firmness of the noodles were just right. Chili jjajangmyeon - A spin on the classic jjajangmyeon but adding chilies and making the dish spicy. This dish was absolutely delicious. It had a layer of garlic as well so it was super garlicky and super spicy. If you can't handle buldak (the spicy chicken ramen), then I would advise against this. The noodles were also perfect for this dish. However, because of how spicy and garlicky this dish was, it no longer tasted like jjajangmyeon. Tangsuyuk - This was probably my least favorite item. The batter, flavor, and cooking method was on point but it wasn't fresh. I think it was warm when we picked it up vs hot. So this might be pre-made which is fine for a food court. The prices are pretty similar to all the other Chinese Korean places across the valley. What's great about the H Mart food court is that each booth has a screen that shows what number they're serving at the moment so it makes it super easy than trying to listen to a number. Was finally able to get into H-Mart and the food hall without any lines! We tried our luck for the first time on a rainy day, and have returned multiple times without having to wait outside. After getting lost in groceries, we headed to the food hall for some grub. I decided on Paik's Noodles - the jjampong was DELICIOUS. The serving size was generous, spice level was perfect and it packed a load with seafood and noodles. THE perfect rainy day meal. In the food hall, they give you numbers for your order and then a bell rings every time an order is complete, and shows up on the restaurant's TV. The only issue is that all restaurant bells sound the same so you have to check in here and there. I wish they had buzzers instead. There were lots of veggies, meat, and shrimp mixed in with the noodles, and the sauce was very flavorful. We also ordered the dumplings, which were a nice addition to the meal. We both agreed we'll be adding this spot to our regular list when we're in the mood for these types of noodles. We had plenty of leftovers to take home. I like the $13.95 Jjamppong noodle soup here. Absolutely delicious. Menu is simple and easy to read. Cashier is helpful. There's a good selection of Chinese Korean foods here as usual. Paik's Noodle locations are popular in California. I felt like I'm eating a great deal here because portions were generous in noodles/vegetables/squid-octopus bits/etc. The bowl size was huge compared to what you would normally get in California for higher prices. Spice level was very good and the longer you drink the soup, the sweeter it tastes. One bowl can easily feed 2-3 portions. Traditional noodle or rice items are always good. You can go with stir fried items too. Wait for order number to appear on screen above. Return trays back to the vendor area you ordered from. The food court vibes are a perfect fit for these type foods. Inexpensive and decent. Tastes authentic to me. I would return to try something else next time. Portions are unbeatable. read more

Delicious JaJangmeon just like mama used to make Traditional Chinese noodles in a black bean sauce. Akin to Asian spaghetti. Around $11 a bowl and if you would like double noodles it's a few dollars more, but you'd have to have a above average appetite. Fast service and is ready in a matter of minutes! Very simple restaurant serving two main dishes. I had the chili 짜장면 and my wife had the 짱뽕. My dish tasted very good but I wished it had more noodle and meat. My wife's dish was good portion with plenty of seafood and the taste was very good. The service was very prompt on a very busy day all due to the grand opening of the H mart. I will definitely return but definitely wait until the crowd dies down. Oh, the owner was very nice and very friendly.
