The fish was perfectly crispy with fresh slaw and really creamy sauces. The tortillas for the tacos tasted very fresh too, which made them even better. Both entrées came with lemon wedges that added a nice bright touch. The fish and chips were great and the fries were perfectly crisp. I still think about the crème brûlée. The texture and caramelized top were spot on. Portions were generous as well. We were staying at a nearby resort so it was an easy walk for us. The service was good, although we came when there was not much of a line. The truck is located in a lot with several other food trucks so it is easy to find. I cannot speak to parking since we walked. There are a couple of benches in front where you can sit and enjoy your food, and the truck sits under a huge tree which gives some nice shade from the heat. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by if you are looking for great vegan food.

The good news is it is fast so if you wait a little bit, someone is likely to finish up and leave. The ambience is definitely casual since it is a truck. There is covered picnic-table style seating for this truck and the other trucks nearby. The food is SO good. I read rave reviews on here for the fish tacos so I orderes them and they did not disappoint. The vegan sour cream is so creamy, thr coleslaw is perfectly tangy and crunchy, and the vegan fish is delightful. My husband got the chicken tacos which were hot, in contrast to the fish tacos. They had avocado and a green sauce and we also liked these though the fish were our favorite. The hibiscus lemonade was lovely and refreshing also. The service here is very fast. We basically ordered and then looked around at the other truck menus and by that time our food was ready! I would definitely recommend this place especially for vegetarians and vegans and would love to come back!

I'm glad we did! The food was every bit as good as the famous North Shore location--hot, fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The shrimp was outstanding, and the mac salad was cold, creamy, and exactly what you want alongside a great plate lunch. Everything came out quickly and tasted fantastic. What really stood out was the friendlier service and smaller crowds. It made for a much more relaxed experience, and we didn't feel rushed at all. Another bonus is the surrounding area. There are several other local food trucks nearby offering everything from fresh fruit and smoothies to delicious desserts. After lunch, take a short stroll through town and be sure to stop by Matsumoto's for some legendary shave ice. Trust me--you'll have room for it! If you're looking for the Giovanni's experience without the long drive and heavy crowds, this location is a winner. Great food, great service, and plenty of local businesses to support. You can't go wrong with Giovanni's. Come hungry, support local, and enjoy the aloha spirit that makes the North Shore so special!

We ordered the Spicy Shrimp and the Shrimp Scampi plates, and neither was impressive. The food came out almost instantly, which proves it is not cooked to order. Because it sits around, the shrimp is incredibly difficult to peel. Anyone who cooks shrimp knows that if you do not peel it right after cooking, the shell sticks to the meat, which was exactly the case here. The Spicy Shrimp had a decent kick, but it lacked actual flavor. The Shrimp Scampi was better but still bland. Honestly, 9 out of 10 shrimp places back home in Southern California make a better plate. To make things worse, the two ladies managing the truck were rude. My wife asked for extra napkins, not realizing some were already in the bag. The worker snapped back, "Are those not enough?" and made her feel super awkward. We also asked for a cup of ice to go with our canned sodas. They flatly refused and told us to ask another truck nearby. Luckily, the other truck owners were much nicer and gave us the ice. Save your time and money. There are much better, friendlier options out there.

The ribeye is super tender and both plates have so much flavor packed into it! I tried the Braised Boneless Kalbi and it is good and super soft! He is always our first stop of the list because you just can't risk certain items running out! (Trust me, I had this happen to me the first time and I was a very sad camper with what was left)

Both extremely solid 9/10. If you like poke, you'll probably like it pan-fried. The spicy ahi flavor is familiar, but the change in cook method adds a different dimension. If you like shrimp, and can handle a smidge of spice, you'll probably like the Cajun version. However, the limiting factor could be location. It's a little hidden gem located just before you turn into the Kahuku food truck pod. Go slow because you'll miss it. Look for the sign and the gravel lot on the right as you head towards the food trucks. Parking a little tricky but you can either find parking in the gravel lot or park in the main one and walk over. Hidden in the corner behind ferns and plants you'll find a little stand manned by very sweet people. "Uncle" takes your order and "auntie" whips up the funnel cake. Please be patient because they are made fresh to order. We got the fully loaded ($13). Recommend getting this one! Comes hot topped with ice cream, fresh banana slices, chocolate and strawberry syrup and whipped cream and powdered sugar. Whoa! It's pretty big so get ito share. If you can't decide there's another option where you can get 3 smaller ones with different toppings like cinnamon. But no mess around - just get the Fully Loaded. The funnel cake wasn't soaked in grease but nice and light with a perfect crunch. We sat at one of the 2 red picnic tables and devoured it in less than 10 minutes . The sign didn't lie- it WAS the best funnel cake in Hawaii!
