Where do I start? I have never experienced a business owner that was so rude in my entire life. Daisies tact with children is to yell and scream. Every single one of my family and friends in attendance could not stop asking why I booked Paint and Pour for my twins birthday(Thanks Yelp...lol) Pros: You can exit this location. Cons: Daisy is very abusive. I mean it was to the point that my cousin stayed outside with her son for cake and ice cream. Daisy's assistant was warm and friendly so it became a very bipolar interaction with staff. Daisy made it a point to tell me she has "never had to yell so much," was irritated that I brought cake instead of cupcakes- that we took outside and 2 minutes before the party ended she came up to me in front of guests helping me take all of my stuff out yelling she can't extend the party. Had a wonderful time at " Paint your pet " night with my 7 year old daughter. It's nice that they sketch the dog on the canvas for you so all you have to do is fill in the colors (great for kids starting out in art). I really loved this place! I took my friend for a belated birthday celebration and we had such a good time. The painting we chose was a little daunting but the instructor really took everything slow and step by step, encouraging everyone to go at their pace. They really did a good job at topping off our wine glasses throughout the experience and making sure we always had enough paint supplies. Aside from when we were drinking, everyone kept their masks on throughout the event which made us feel safe. My favorite part about this place - the PARKING. I, along with all of the parents, were absolutely blown away by the way everything was put together, the instruction, and final artwork. Daisy and her team are awesome! I sent them pictures of each attendee's pet and when we arrived for the party, the canvasses were all set up pre-sketched for each girl...and we had 20 girls! The flow of the party was perfect and it was such a meaningful experience for the guests. So the wife tells me that we have a date night for this last weekend (4/26/14). We are going to Paint and Pour and all has been paid for. My response, "uhhhhh okay, sure." Paint and pour, what the heck am I in for? Little did I know, I was in for a unique and fun experience that turned out to be a really great night out. So the deal is this. You schedule a night out, you get a 16x24 canvas and everything you need to paint. You are in a room with about 30-35 other "artists" and after you settle in, put an apron on, get a drink (beer, wine, soft drinks, etc..) the instructor gets up on the stage. Music is going and you are off! You are all painting the same masterpiece but there is much freedom to do as you like to your own canvas. This is no paint by numbers, there are no stencils or templates to use, only an example on the stage and the instructor going through the steps. I am thinking that the event is way more fun with a group as we went with another couple and just had a blast showing each other our vision of the example. There was another birthday party right next to us of about 10 ladies that seemed to be having so much fun just snapping pics away and showing one another their art. Event goes for about 2.5 hours and naturally you get to keep your painting. Place is run by a married couple that seems to be having a bunch of fun themselves. I have a solid feeling that if we were drinkers this place would be even more fun and as the group gets larger it would be even better. They are available for private parties and have special, specific paintings that they do at only certain times if that interests you as well. Just worth mentioning, about half way through we noted that this place would be totally featured in like an MtV blind or first date show. This was my first paint night experience and we had a blast! They do have a bar here and you get a free drink ticket with every purchase (red wine, white wine, water, or soda). They also sell chips. So, you find your seat and you get all the painting supplies needed (paint, brushes, water, canvas). The painting instructor went step by step and it was very easy to follow. It does move fast though. She was super helpful and went around to give us feedback and lots of encouragement! We did the street lamp painting and it was a long one!! Very fun experience!! I loved this experience!! I'm not a novice to painting, but it's something about paint and wine that gets me! My friend got a group-on with the class being half off, so might as well seize the opportunity. A lot of the people that go to these classes don't have an artistic bone in their body, but it was so cool seeing them try something new and creating something that they could have never thought of being capable of doing. The night that we went was during their "African Sunset" class, and the instructor made the night lively and fun by playing Lion King music. :D I think I want to do this painting class once a month because I had so much fun. Paint 'n Pour is hidden in a small little shopping center that I wish I noticed earlier. This was a last minute girls night date that Daisy made possible by squeezing us into her 7pm class. Honestly one of the best nights out that I have had in a long time. Don't worry if you are a novice painter, because she walks you through how to do it, step by step. The classes have limited seating, so be sure to book in advance. Painting: You can paint whatever you like. The instructor did a nice job explaining each step of the painting process. Me and my significant other had attended during a holiday event and had a blast. The staff were kind, there was a great energy that carried throughout the event, and there were plenty of jokes and laugher. Like I said, I'm not artistic, so I especially appreciated the "starter" drawing that provided me (and everyone else) with a running start as well as all the the assistance, recommendations, and patience that the staff had offered. I'm a visual-type of person, so it was a big help to see someone actually perform each instruction as it was verbally conveyed to the group. So, I've been to this place a few times. My first and second experience was amazing. I went painting tonight & the experience was not so good. I went to redeem my ticket for a glass of wine but I just wanted the cup. The owner/bar guy proceeded to tell me I could pour my own wine. I say "ok". He proceed to tell me he can pour it for a $5 uncork fee and continue to say if he sees me pouring he will have to ask for me to take my bottle to my car. By this time I'm getting a little upset...he repeats don't pour the wine if you do I will have to ask you again to take it to the car. Mind you, I'm still standing at the bar without the bottle of wine. I told the guy he did not have to keep repeating himself & talking to me as if I am a child & can I have my glass of wine from him. I get my glass and go sit next to my friend and begin to tell her she can't pour the wine...the male owner came over being very rude & saying put the bottle away. I tell him had he giving me enough time to tell her to just put it away. He says well I saw it out and I'm just telling you it can't be out. I don't know if it was the color of my skin or what but he did not treat anyone else who brought their wine like a child he was punishing. This will be my last time at this establishment but thank you. By they way I was so uncomfortable that I couldn't enjoy my painting experience !!! read more

The owners are a husband and wife team and they were so nice! The wife was the teacher for the night and she's just fabulous! Even though we aren't artsy or painters, she made it fun and easy with her step-by-step instructions. It's fun to see how everyone's pictures turned out different too! The $40 was just for the canvas, paint and instructions. You will be told that you will never have to pay $40 after the first session because you will be on their mailing list and the price drops down to $35 (I got their email). My husband and I purchased a Groupon for Pain N' Pour for Valentine's Day. What a great experience!!! When you use the Groupon, you are getting an extremely good value for a fun filled evening. You can bring your own bottle of wine for a $5 corkage fee, or they offer alcohol for sale at an extremely reasonable price. We purchased a tasty bottle of wine for only $13. The studio is owned by a retired married couple who does this for fun. They are both extremely friendly and helpful - the man instructs and the woman "bartends" and assists with setting out fresh water for your paint brush. The instruction was very good and well-paced. We had such a fun time painting and have our paintings hanging side by side in our apartment. We definitely want to go back. This is fun for date night, girls night, or with a group of friends. I'd do this again for $22 per person (I had a Groupon). More than that would feel expensive, I think. I had even more fun painting than I anticipated, and my painting came out better than expected too. I do think they should give you more than 1 tiny glass of wine for the price of admission... given the name Paint 'n Pour, I thought there would be more. I'm always a fan of local and start up businesses and this is no exception. The concept is simple. You learn to paint and you also get to bring food and spirits. All of the classes are after 6pm which is nice for those that work later hours. They typically last 3 hours and no experience is required. The methods that are used to paint are really neat and gives even the most artistically challenged person hopes of making a great painting. I do like that you don't have to follow the color scheme that they have available, but if you do deviate be sure to pick your colors wisely. I did a cupcake once and although it looked nice, I'm sure if I had thought out my colors better it would've looked nice. If you bring a group of 7 or more you can choose whatever painting you'd like to paint for the night. I think its a good place for team building and birthday parties. For the most part the event is for people 21+ and over, however the owners do offer Family days from time to time which are usually held in their parking lot. Due to the liquor license it cannot be physically inside their building. I highly recommend Paint 'n Pour and plan to come back with friends to create more wonderful works of art. read more
