Honestly, my friend killed 2 flies, with a menu, immediately after being seated. The pizza is made in an open kitchen. When we were leaving, we noticed flies all over the prepped food. Our server, (older man who also seated us) kept forgetting what we ordered. We noticed he kept apologizing to the table next to us for getting their order wrong more than once. Two of us received different pastas than they ordered. The rest of us had pizza; I could only stomach a couple of bites. We ordered the flat bread pizza which was excellent. We have no complaint of the food which was very good. I do have a complaint about the person who brought our bill. My husband said he had a hearing loss when she presented the bill and she said "can you read"! How inconsiderate was that! I think this place is underrated. Now with that being said , the crowd is over 50 but I found that the bartender Robert was very fun and it was karaoke night on my first visit and packed. I had dinner there last night and was hassled by the manager about having my service dog with me. She said "if you have your dog in here, how can I explain to others why they can't bring in their dogs?" This woman is clueless and doesn't understand the laws surrounding people with disabilities. She may be opening up this restaurant to legal action. I was going to have brunch there today, but I'll go elsewhere. My waitress was lovely and provided outstanding service. We come here for karaoke once in a while on a Friday. The place is located on a golf course and a popular place for karaoke. The staff is very accommodating. The menu has most of the standard items. We usually order an appetizer. I think the prices are a little high. read more

We usually stop in here on Friday or Saturday night when they have karaoke. The Karaoke is from 6pm-9pm and the rotation is long. It is always a fun time as the host does a mixture of karaoke songs and DJ songs for dancing. The service is good, and the food is good, we usually order the pretzel bites and they come out hot with cheese and mustard sauce for dipping. They are a bit pricey, but to be expected with the atmosphere of the restaurant. There is ample seating inside and they have a large outdoor patio.. We will be back for the karaoke. read more

First time at the restaurant, and noticed a human hair in my Pesto Garden Veggie Omelette. Attached is an image. Spoke with a woman who transferred me to a "Juanita". Juanita said she would inform her boss and hung up. I called back and asked to speak to a manager, and was connected to a male (didn't get his name). Guy was extremely rude. Mother's Day dinner disaster. Roasted NY strip steak turns out to be a slab of prime rib served ice cold along with undercooked carrots and horseradish sauce with no horseradish. All of this lovely garbage for a price of $33+ dollars. The rest of our party of 15 experienced the exact same thing. Had lunch and was deceived by the menu description of the Chimichanga. The menu described it as "specialty". "Roasted prime rib of beef and green chilies wrapped in a flour tortilla and golden fried, atop a bed of enchilada sauce, topped with melted Colby-jack cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. NOT what we got! What we got was primarily REFRIED BEANS (super salty) and not one single green chili in it. So many beans in it that you could barely taste the supposed "prime rib" in it. No mention at all on the menu of refried beans in it. I didn't want a refried bean Chimichanga but got one anyway. AT LEAST the service and company we had lunch with were great! read more

Not a resort it's a converted apartment complex. Please don't be fooled by photos. It's still nice. decor is Tacky Walls don't match in bathroom. No place to put your sop or accessories in shower. We stopped at the Painted Mountain Bar on Valentine's night. They had music which was fabulous. We were at the bar to get a drink and try to find a place to sit. The girl bartender wasn't busy but was less than enthusiastic about waiting on us. We were not greeted or asked what we wanted. We had to get her attention and she was standing right on top of us. One of the ladies in our party wanted a margarita blended. Bartender said oh I can't blend it. I asked for a dirty vodka martini on the rocks. I got it up instead and had to ask for ice. No olive juice was in it, but they charged $12. We had to ask for a table to be bussed so we could sit down. It was missing a chair and we had to go find one. Later one of the ladies asked this girl when she walked by if she could take our picture. She said she didn't have time for that. We were never asked if we wanted another drink. Really -- a nice place like this is and you have a bartender with a bad attitude! read more

Went in for steak on a Saturday night- it was Steak night specials! The service was quick and friendly. The food NOT SO GOOD! The steaks tasted rancid...We smelled them a nd they smelled bad!! The Chicken salad was soooo horrible too! The grilled chicken was so old and dry and was hard to wash down with water!! The server said sorry and removed 50% off of the bill???? It is probably best not to order the Saturday steak dinner special. My steak had a large piece of gristle through it. I could not even cut through almost half of it. Our server, Lori, was great and wanted us to be happy. Management's response was that our dinner could not be discounted because it was a special, but offered me some ice cream! I did not expect miracles with a $23 steak dinner but I did expect to be able to cut it. Went to dinner tonight with some friends who were excited about taking my wife and me to Painted Mountain for ribs. All went well until after the waitress took our order. After she took our order we never saw her again. Never came by to see if we would like another drink. Never came by to see if we needed more water. Never brought the salt and pepper that was requested. Never asked if we would be interested in having a desert, if a desert even exists at Painted Mountain Restaurant...still don't know if they have deserts. Only brought another drink because I hailed her from thirty feet away by waving my empty wine glass. Attempted to wave her down again from thirty feet away, and she turned away, and continued talking to someone in the bar. Even though she saw my hailed request, she never came to find out what we wanted. I was hoping to get the salt and pepper that was requested some twenty minutes earlier. Had to ask another server to bring our bill. When our server (over stating her role) brought our bill, she couldn't process our friends gift card, and then turned around and walked away. Had to ask another server to bring their bill. If the service was less than mediocre, the food was equal to the task...Mediocre. The ribs tasted old, and microwaved. Can only imagine that their deserts, if they have any, probably come from Walmart. Wait. Walmart has some pretty good deserts. The highlight was the young lady who cleaned the table. She was very personable, polite, and efficient. Too bad she is too young to be a server. Don't know who the server was because she did not wear a name tag. I can understand why. read more

Went for Thanksgiving Turkey dinner with all the trimmings. This was for take out for 1. Was told I would get soup, wasn't any. Turkey tasted bland, no flavor, no stuffing, gravy had no taste, .also bland.Salad was not at all attractive, also no dressing with it, cranberry sauce tasted watery, cheap brand I think. Gave me a slice of ham with the dinner, which I did not order. Two rolls came with dinner and a piece of pumpkin pie, of course no whipped cream with this for take out. I was expecting the turkey to be from a real turkey baked in the oven and basted, This was not. I had only ever eaten here once despite working at the resort next door. We recommend our guests to eat here all the time, I decided to try it. My friend got the chicken wings and Onion rings and they were delicious! I got a salad, the veggies were fresh, the meat was seasoned perfectly and the dressing it was served with was delicious and very flavorful. My only 2 complaints are that, I couldn't even finish my salad because the lettuce was sitting in about two inches of water at the bottom of the bowl. Not only did it take off any dressing I had put on the salad but it made everything slightly soggy. The second is that I didn't know your lunch and dinner menus changed so drastically. My favorite item on the menu is the Ruben sandwich, that's actually why I picked the restaurant because I knew they had a great Ruben! Disappointed I couldn't get that! read more

Food / atmosphere very poor. The first thing you'll notice when you walk in this restaurant is the odor. It reeks of 60s furniture that was perhaps once doused in cigarette smoke and has been detoxing ever since while decomposing, or just decomposing. It REEKS like a thrift shop with old junk in it, and no your nose doesn't get used to it. Got a Cobb salad with some seared mahi. The compressed meat on the salad had a terrible flavor, old and hard Swiss cheese that tasted awful, hair in my food, rotting lettuce. The mahi was not seared, they didn't even bother to use salt and pepper on it, let alone a rub, the cut was odd and it was overcooked, couldn't be saved with either the salt or the wedge of lemon they served with it for an additional $8. Didn't charge me for my meal. My daughter got a hotdog, that was decent. The food is not restaurant quality, it's barely bad home cooking quality. Will not return. read more

I've been to this restaurant twice & both times had the worst experience/service of any place I've ever been. The Manager (Dave) especially, is condescending, immature, childish and worst of all, horribly insulting to his "Patrons/Guest's" when he and/or his staff has been called out on clearly obvious & significant mistakes. Instead of making it 'right', manager Dave, verbally insults, his so called "guests" brushing off his mistakes, as if they didn't occur. No matter how polite our group was to him & the restaurant staff, both times. This's completely unacceptable behavior for any person, much-less a restaurant/service industry manager. Condescendingly throwing a free shrimp cocktail at a party of 20+ paying customers because Dave didn't have the table prepared for a prearranged & documented reservation, doesn't fix things. Then!... verbally Insulting a beautiful young woman, for very politely speaking up for her grandmother (who was upset by this but too afraid to say anything) is unforgivable. *Overpriced, slow service, terrible/worst/horrible management ever seen, who clearly needs an attitude adjustment and a different career. read more
