My son loves pizza, so when he saw a pizza place he has never tried, he made it a point to ask to go there. We took the table that's in the "game room" which has card games, board games, jenga etc. there are different types of seating (couch, table, coffee table). There are no TVs back there. For food we had three pizzas: Pepperoni and bacon Half cheese half mushroom Half garlic sauce half butter chicken sauce with artichoke and sausage and mushroom All of the pizzas had good pull and were crispy. My wife liked the garlic sauce better than the butter chicken but I think they were both good. Also had the calamari which was very delicious. Came here last week to pick up dinner and it was my first time coming in. The lovely server, I think her name was Sara or Sierra, gave me a few suggestions on what to try and I ended up grabbing sticky fingers (sweet chili wings) and an Italian job. She was super sweet and patient since I was going back n forth between items on the menu. She also recommended the slushy margarita which was BOMB!! It's hard when you re-open a similar business in the same location at a previous run down failed restaurant. Pairfield Pizza takes over the old location of Pavlov's Pizza. They have done a good job of remodeling and have changed up the menu. The interior boasts several TV's (some with sports, but some with sports talk shows but no sound). Pairfield features craft beers and soft drinks. Located on the backside of Diablo shopping center it's not readily visible from either Crow Canyon Blvd or SRV Blvd. The most positive attribute is that it faces the row of EV charging stations. Ya Baby Salad 5 stars came the arugula mixed berries and nuts Sticky fingers Wings 4 stars good portions Imapepper pizza 5 stars pepperoni and peppercini. Service was good. There are a few parking spaces in front of the restaurant but you might have to park around the corner since most are reserved for EV charging. read more

I do not get all the 5 stars? YES the pizza is very good, but the menu is very small, still nothing for kids? Not a child in the restaurant. OK good beer selection, but wine is very limited, and $16 for a 6 ounce pour that the bottle is $21!! Have to do better there if they want to stay competitive in SR! Chicken was very tasty, but small parts of chicken. People are fantastic, hence the 4 stars! I do believe that we would go to Round Table before heading back here. This place is not your usual pizza place. It offers sourdough pizza!! The dough is chewy and better for the guts! It has many Asian flavor pizza which is a nice change! My all time favorite is sticky wings. It's perfectly coated with just enough sauce to make it still crispy and flavorful. Best yet, it has a variety of local beer selections on tap! And staff is friendly and helpful! The booth and the lounge area in the back are very comfortable. There are lots of TV which will be great for game nights. I was in search of something different than my current rotation of pizza ordering. Have no complaints on my current rotation just wanted to try a new location. Right off the bat I was a bit concerned with my interaction on the phone with the ordering process as a whole. It was pretty much call, place an order and that was it. No name asked for or phone number confirmation. It did seem like there is a preference ordering online instead of phone orders. What got my attention was the comments about the crust which I feel is an important part of pizza. Unfortunately I do not share those same opinions. After taking a few slices away I notice an over amount of oil left over. Right away when you pickup the slice of pizza it's very heavy and pretty much half of the pizza falls off. I felt like I needed to put the slices of pizza in the air fryer to get more of an appropriate crust. Unfortunately, I don't feel like I was enticed to add this location into my rotation. This was takeout order so no comment for inside dinning. read more

I didn't know about this place opening in the neighborhood until we were driving to Home Depot and I made a comment that a new pizza place opened. We debated on being good and heading home or stopping here to check it out. We had to check it out. This restaurant has been open for only one week, so I'm going to go easy. Staff was courteous and it looks like everyone is in that getting to know each other stage. Orders are placed at the counter or you can order (there are menus at the counter) via QR code. Since it was us and another family, we ordered at the counter and decided to sit at the bar. Space: You can sit at the bar, or in the dining room. Restrooms are gender assigned. There's a separate room in the back for private parties. Bar: Several beers on tap. Plus there's a menu board so you can see their offerings. There are quite a few offerings because it was a lot to read. Notables: - The beer on tap is locally sourced (i.e., Inc 82, Morgan Territory, Drakes, Del Cielo, and Calicraft to name a few), as well as cans. We were told that the owner purposely chose local breweries to feature. - Side note: On of the canned beers featured by Left Hand Brewery out of Colorado. Ironically, our friends who retired to Colorado last year, their son is one of the brewers at Left Hand! Small world! - The gadget I used to pick up my pizza was part spatula and tong! That was memorable! - We were told the owner was a former chef with Wente, but if you were expecting a smoked pork chop - the answer is no. Food: Salad: We split the salad and I enjoyed it. I would order it again. Pizza: Our go to is a sausage mushroom pizza and kind of the baseline on how we rate our pizzas. The crust was a little too well done as in hard/crunchy - hence the reason why I took away a star. Appetizers: We didn't try any but are willing to try next time. Owner Jeff is crushing it here! This pizza is on another level from all the many other pizza restaurants in the tri-valley area and forget about dominoes or whatever. The crust is incredible. Love it. Again this is real pizza with the attention needed. Price is on point. Appreciated the Sunday evening pint discount! ($2 off) School of Rock once again had our end of year staff party here and it worked so great. They have a dedicated room for this and the 35 people we had easily fit in. I've had a positive experience every time I've dined at Pairfield. There's more to the menu than just pizza, although during my first time there I opted for the lunch special (pizza, salad, beverage.) I've also tried the deviled eggs and the Pan Frito (fried sourdough bites), as well as the custom salad, which was topped with perfectly ripe pineapple. The menu suggests craft beer pairings for each type of pizza, but if you're not in a beer mood there are also gourmet sodas. There was also a dessert special each visit (homemade pumpkin pie in November; Girl Scout cookie pairings recently!) The ambiance is comfortable with booth seating and large screen TVs for big game days. The staff was very attentive and friendly on each visit, with the owner also circulating and checking in on patrons. If you're in the area, you should give this place a try. It's always nice to support a local business. read more

We got standard flavor pizzas, nothing fancy, just cheese and pepperoni. They were SO delicious, the crust is absolutely fantastic and decent ratio of sauce to toppings. A pretty steep price but I think you are supposed to order fancier flavor combos here and the novelty is part of what you are paying for. No kids menu so expect to pick a pizza flavor your kids will like or save it for date night (the price might limit you to that anyway). Attentive polite waitstaff. Love that they kept the old school booths even though they remodeled everything else to an industrial vibe, booths are great because everyone fits and the kids can crawl around all they want. Friendly owner, great pizza, and good beer. My favorite pizza was non binary. The crust is crunchy and the flavor is so good. Pizza had so much toppings it was overflowing, must try! I don't usually like crust in pizza but I finished every single bite. They also had a pumpkin pie that had special candied pecans and it was delicious. I've been here several times to catch up with friends and it is always a delight! The Kumar's Desire pizza is definitely my all time favorite item on their menu, it's an Indian fusion style pizza with tandoori chicken and drizzled with cucumber raita The Nonbinary pizza was lovely as well, we substituted the pork for vegetables and it was still so flavorful. I also tried the Bollywood Deviled Egg, which is another fusion dish, a deviled egg with the flavor profile of Indian street food. From the first bite that exquisite tangy flavor of lime pickle and chaat masala just smacks your tastebuds in the best way. The desserts I've had here are also fabulous, they're not too sweet (which is a good thing!). A lot of American desserts are loaded with so much sugar that they give me a headache after two bites, whereas the desserts here are the perfect level of sweetness that doesn't overpower the taste of the other ingredients. I don't drink much, but they have a great selection of craft beers and ciders (my friend had the most delicious mango cider when we went last). On occasion Pairfield has seasonal menu items for different holidays--this past year for Cinco de Mayo they had a limited birria style pizza that came with a consommé to dip it in. I truly look forward to the creative fusion dishes they release in the future! This is a family business and the service is very warm. Every time I eat here I feel so valued as a customer and seeing how the family and staff treat their other customers you can tell that they have a strong rapport with their clientele. They have a cozy sports-bar type vibe going on with two (possibly more, don't quote me on that) TVs that are always playing some games, but it's definitely still family friendly. My husband betrayed my trust and tried this new pizza spot in our town without me! Gasp!! Luckily for him, he won me back by bringing me here to try it myself. We are a couple of self proclaimed pizza snobs. Our favorite dates are spent trying new zza's around the Bay Area and rating them on a 1-10. It's hard to get higher than a 5 from us. We came on a slow week day night and got to enjoy sitting alone at the bar overlooking the kitchen. Our beertender was fantastic- so sorry to have forgotten his name (I must blame his fantastic pours)- he mixed us some beers (I'll call them "beertails") that were shockingly delicious and incredibly creative. His service and personality would be enough to give this spot a high score. Beyond the great staff, is a comfortable and casual ambiance with some solid pizza. We were impressed with the flavor of the pizza, and I was especially impressed with the dough and perfectly cooked crust (that's typically where I get a bit pizza snobby!). It wasn't the best pizza we have ever had, but it is definitely better than most... most especially in this area. This will be our local spot for some solid pizza. I hope they do well, it's nice to finally have a spot in Danville that knows how to make pizza. Pizza score: 7/10 read more
