My massage therapist, Daisy, was excellent. She was attentive, skilled, and clearly experienced. After the session, I noticed a significant improvement in the pain and tension in my hands and shoulders -- especially from lifting and holding my baby. The spa itself is very clean, the rooms are comfortable, and the atmosphere is calming with lovely-smelling oils that enhance the overall experience. I highly recommend this salon to anyone in the Willow Glen neighborhood. My husband and I are experienced in getting couple massages and sometimes we look for last minute massages. We found Sarika on Yelp and they literally have 5 stars (not too many reviews) and thought let's give it a go. Our first visit we requested for a relaxing massage, they said they do Swedish massages and we were like great! However we didn't realize we agreed (in the questionnaire) for the massage therapist to stand on us which was ok but not a Swedish massage, it was a bit much for me and my husband, it turned out to be more of a Thai massage and thought it was our fault since we filled out the form incorrectly. They start you off with a nice foot soak since my husband requested full body massage. For a Thai massage it was good but since it wasn't a Swedish massage it wasn't the relaxation massage we were looking for. Our 2nd visit was another last minute one (Monday night) and we asked for very relaxing 90 min Swedish massage. This massage was like 'oh that feels good' to 'oh no that hurts sooo bad'. It was again more of a Swedish/thai massage even though we specifically requested relaxation (Swedish). I hardly say ouch and I had to say ouch twice. I liked some of the techniques but most of the time it was too hard, fast strokes and a bit messy (especially at the end), like if you're massaging one's head the focal point should start in the middle. At the end of the massage they left our curtain wide open and we are literally naked. I would suggest finding another location if your looking for a Swedish massage. The cost for a 90 min couples massage is $270+. This place has potential. Keep in mind that It is very noisy, you can hear other customers and hear the staff ladies conversing and laughing loudly which is nice that they are having fun but some may not find this relaxing. I wanted to be fair and give a 4 star but to be honest it's more of a 3.5 star (I typically round it off this is why I rated Sarika 4). read more

Best massage I've ever had! My first time getting a Thai massage and I'll definitely be back. I was sore and achy and could use a massage. I searched on Yelp and was lucky to find this place with an opening in my time frame and it was reasonably priced. -place was cute and clean. -they offer tea/water. -they have you change your shoes at the entrance. -I had to search for parking. I rarely go to Willow Glen so unsure if there's a parking lot in the back of this place, but I don't think there is, so make sure you give yourself time to park. The massage: -first she walked on me stretching every part of me and loosening up my achy/tight areas. It was the perfect pressure and felt my body just open up and release all of the tension. -after the receiving the release from her body pressure , she oiled me up and continued with a regular-type massage which also included body stretching. Tip: I have been exercising and stretching on my own for a few months now so the stretching was not painful. I suggest that if you haven't stretched for a while maybe let them know so the stretching part doesn't feel too intense. It was great and just what my body needed. I got an hour massage but it felt like it was longer than hour. Nina was my masseuse and I'll be scheduling with her for my next session! read more

We will definitely come back but the girl in the front wasn't really helping us with directions on what we should do while waiting and at the end kept asking us for gratuity when we already gave it to the ladies. We didn't like the way she kept asking about gratuity and suggesting we're giving $50 each and to leave it with her, I would rather hand the tip to them myself. We already tip $30 each on a $176 tab. You get your own private room. The masseuse knew just where I was tight and needed more work. Gigi was an INCREDIBLE masseuse, and I will be coming here again. She welcomed me into the spa with a smile, and I was given a pair of indoor shoes to wear while going to the massage room. During the massage (deep tissue), she combined back-walking, stretching, and standard massage practice to completely loosen my muscles. She easily identified my problem areas and made sure they were taken care of before I left. If you're incredibly tense like me, I recommend booking a two-hour session so there is time for all of the different aspects of the massage. When I was done, she let me take my time to gather my things, and I was offered a cup of tea on my way out.
