I really liked Paisano's, food is decent and affordable. I've been using this location for the past 3 years (delivery only) but I don't think I'll order from them again. I never had any issues with their drivers before but the last driver I dealt with was horrible. He was having trouble finding me, got frustrated over the phone and just demanded me to pick up my food from the store myself. Unacceptable. read more

Ordered delivery online and have been waiting for over an hour. I have called the restaurant twice. Once at the 45 minute mark and was told "the delivery person left an 10 minutes ago and is on their way". Second call was at the hour mark so I checked to see on the status and explained that it was my second time checking and all I received back was "it's on its way". When the food finally arrived my order was missing items and I received someone else's meal. When I called back to inform them of this I was told they would talk to the driver but no mention of making my order or transaction right or ensuring that the poor individual would receive their meal after it was mistakenly given to me. My family orders from here every week, typically for pizza Fridays. We always order the xlg cheese pizzas and 16-24 hot wings. They sincerely have the best pizza; we normally get xlg cheese but have had their specialty pizzas and they are so delicious. The wings are SO good. No breading and the hot sauce with their blue cheese is SO tasty. My kids refuse to eat pizza from any other place. And, we love the that they have gluten free options, too. First time ordering from this location. Curb side pickup. First the person delivering to my car was not wearing a mask or gloves. I also noticed inside staff was not wearing masks. My biggest disappointment was my pizza was burnt. Burnt to the point you could not bite into a slice. Also my order included buffalo wings which tasted like fried wings (little to no sauce). Had a bad experience here before and thought I will give it another shot since it's close by work. They have gotten much much friendlier staff. The sandwich combo is good to have. Well. It used to be good. The quality has really declined as of late. And the food is not cheap by any means. Really Makes me sad to know a business could go so downhill in such a short period of time. We were very steady customers for both delivery and carry out for a couple of years. At one time They used to have great pizza and sandwiches. We didn't mind paying for the food and delivery. But now, Our last 2 pizzas were burned with very stingy if any toppings. Virtually no cheese or even sauce. Really? Just so obvious with the cost cutting and no thought whatsoever to the quality or the customer. And The jalapeño poppers went straight to the trash. This place is nasty. The lasagna is burned and is not baked in the container (Foil) that they serve it to you in. It is given as a thin slice with hardly any sauce. I called the manager and told her that the lasagna is not good and asked her why it's made like that as compared to other Paisianos and she said that she was aware that it was served as some type of cut serving and not baked to the container. She said that it had always been like that. No I ordered the lasgna a year or two ago and it wasn't like that. So I had a thin slice in a round foil container with hardly any sauce and cheese, plus burned, and the manager said she was aware. Haven't been back to this location. If you're use to real good Italian then you won't go here. I have tried some of the other food and not impressed. The spaghetti is okay, but something's not right about this location. read more

Gosh it's been nearly 3 years since I last reviewed our Paisano's. In that span of time, I can not give them a bad rating. Consistently high quality and service and geez, they are FAST (yes, Jimmy John's, fast and polite). Didn't I say all that in my last review, 3 years ago? What is in their water??!!! We just ordered from them twice over this weekend for March Madness. The new meatball appetizer is off the chain! So good, the second order we got 3 and froze two of them for later! We enjoy the Paisano Hot Shot sub with fries. The sandwich has excellent and tasty ingredients, ham, turkey, cheese, ltm and onion on a perfect sub bun. The fries are great too. We are always treated with a pleasant and courteous person on the phone. The order arrives promptly and is piping hot. Always fresh and consistently so. Delivery folks are also friendly and courteous. We order at least weekly. Highly recommend you try them too. read more

I have ordered from here for years and until recently it has been fine. The new female manager that works there is rude and refuses to accommodate a PAYING customer. She will not allow me to order all wings with my chicken wings. Says she cannot pick out the drums so I get what I get. Again, I am a PAYING customer with a business full of over 75 employees that order from them every weekend. I will be directing my company to no longer order from them. First of all, let me say that I have been to a lot of small pizza shops, and this one has the cleanest bathrooms. My family went here for some pizza and all of it was good. One person got a stromboli and it was good. The rest ordered pizzas, which were all good as well (suggestion for the bacon cheeseburger pizza; use a mix of mustard and ketchup instead of pizza sauce). The staff was friendly and accommodating. As a person born and raised in Brooklyn NY and Italian, any pizza place that claims to be NY Style here in VA is not accurate. There is a drastic difference. We ordered a large pizza, 2 calzones and the fried mushrooms. Pizza was pretty good but DiGiorno frozen is 100% better than any local pizza. The calzones??? Looked like the ricotta cheese curdled, had no taste and the ham in the calzone was in chunks. It's supposed to be a lightly sliced ham known as proshutto. Cheap replacement. And then the fried mushrooms. Soggy no taste. My rating on the flavor level is Yuck. $56 worth of food went in the trash except for some of the pizza. So nothing against this place directly. Long story short - We will definitely order from the Paisano's in Springfield again - good pizza, great phone servie and speedy delivery. Long story - I called the Paisano's on Van Dorn for pizza delivery, but the guy on the phone couldn't find my house in their system, couldn't identify the major intersections near my house, or for that matter couldn't really understand my articulate spelling of the street address. After trying to explain where I live, oh by the way - I am 4 miles from their location; they told me that I live too far and to try the Springfield location. I called Paisano's in Springfield and when I gave the man my address he said I should call the other location. When I told him about my prior phone conversation he said he'd take my order. Very nice thing for them to do considering I am farther away. I really appreciated the effort. The pizza was delivered faster than the estimated time. Overall the pizza is pretty tasty, but honestly their consideration in delivering to my location is what won me over. read more

Excellent food and service. We have ordered from here way too many times! Have tried the pizza, subs, club sandwich, gyro and salads. Have never been disappointed. One time we got the wrong sub..not the end of the world but the manager first offered to re-deliver the correct one (which we declined) so our next one was free. Was very impressed with how he handled it. Has never happened again and could have been a mistake on our part to begin with.
