We love getting Marcos pizza but they claim to close at 11 and yet the last 3 times we have tried to order they do not answer the phone after 10:30 sometimes alittle earlier. If they want u to order online after a certain time they should clarify that,I'm sure that's not the case but someone should be aware that the phones aren't being answered til they close and are missing our orders,at least ours and it's usually 2 pies and a sub. Great food and when have gotten our order in before the staff is kind but apparently don't want to take anymore orders after a certain time. The pizza is good. The service - I am in shock. I ordered 5 pizzas mid day Friday for a pickup Saturday 11am. I went to pick up my pizzas. The guy said yes I'm working on it. I said ok so like 10 mins or half an hour as I'm hosting the party? And here he said: it will be done when it's done. I'm one person and got your order for 5 pizzas 15 mins ago! I said I put the order the day before and asked if something was wrong with their app that he didn't get it, to try and understand the comment. Ok we love the pizza. But the management needs to help out the poor over worked and very understaffed crew! Ordering online with a later pick up time means there is going to be guaranteed wait even if you arrive a few minutes after the pick up time. Ordering onsite is an excruciating wait. I live around the corner from a very stellar pizza shop. That being said, I'd order from here again in a heartbeat. I loved the extra Parmesan on the crust, which was fluffy, how I like it. Great food but slow, especially if ordering onsite. Grossly under-staffed. Two employees busting their chops to keep up with online orders. I ordered an Italiano sandwich (cheese on the side) at 5:25 pm Tuesday September 23rd. Young man asked, "you're ordering a sandwich here, now?" Twelve minutes later, I asked if one of them would be starting my sandwich. He was annoyed, centered himself and said he was trying to "stay on top of the oven." I'd only asked after I saw a brief lull in pizzas coming off the grill, and as I saw him get a few text messages off. Again I asked if they work sandwiches in between pizzas. He said "sometimes." I felt bad afterwards. They were working hard. Received my sandwich at 5:50pm (with cheese melted on the sandwich). Didn't check before leaving and was promptly chided for the "cheesy" sandwich when I arrived home. Didn't handle that well, either. I discovered this place about 6 months ago and have been ordering from there almost every week. Generally a thin crusts lover, I ordered their original crust once by mistake and fell in love with it. The most flavorful crust I have had in a long time. They also do not skimp on the toppings. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is the hefty sauce. I wish they use less or have the option for light sauce, so I don't have to call each time I order. I wanted a healthier pizza option and Marco's provided that in their Crustless Pizza Bowl. I went with the Garden Pizza. I paid online for pick up and the pizza bowl was ready on time. The Crustless Pizza Bowl is a bit like pizza soup. It does not have a crust so it is layered... Maybe a bit more of a lasagna than a soup. The Garden option came with a ton of veggie toppings (mushrooms, black olives, onions, sliced tomatoes) in between red sauce, their three cheese blend, and feta. It was too liquid-y for me and I didn't enjoy it, but it also didn't lack flavor. The toppings were fresh and I liked the red sauce a lot. I doubt I will buy another Crustless pie again, but I am willing to give Marco's another try. read more

The pizzas were excellent, but online ordering had a glitch. It's easy to use the online ordering system and specify custom changes to the order. However, after spending all the time doing that, we could not complete the order because it said address was not completed or something. After spending a lot of time trying to figure out why it wouldn't take our address we gave up and phoned the store with the order. They amazingly had our address without us even telling them. When we told them that the online order would not recognize our address, we didn't really get a feeling they would look into it. So we recommend the pizzas but not the online ordering system. read more

Sitting at the location now waiting for a pizza - should be a non-issue, except 1) I ordered the pizza 2 hours ago 2) I called 45 minutes ago, they apologized for the delay - their drivers had quit - did I mention this was a delivery order? 3) they assured me it was 'walking out the door' 4) 30 minutes after that - the driver arrives and apologizes - he'd had to deliver a large order to the high school first 5) my kids finally get their Friday night pizza 6) I open the box to my pizza, to discover it's been made incorrectly, and I cannot eat it 7) so, here I wait There's been a few other instances where this location has messed up an order. Marco's has my heart. Okay I know everyone is loyal to their favorite pizza chain, but Marco's takes the crown between the chains. (Papa Johns, Dominos, Pizza Hut). I'd take Marco's 15/10 times over any of those. Definitely has a "healthier" touch compared to other pizza chains but I think it's the perfect amount of sauce, cheese, doughy crust, and toppings. I ended up getting the Pepperoni and it did not disappoint. The inside is actually quite clean and nice to eat in. Most folks were carrying out or ordering delivery, but it was honestly a good experience to eat the pie fresh and hot inside a comfortable booth. This place has definitely become my go-to pizza, especially when I have friends who want pizza and want to try something new, I put them onto Marco's! read more

We've been meaning to try out Marco's for a while, and after receiving several mailers...we finally decided to give it a try! This was the first time we tried this location--but we've had "white cheesy" pizza at a Marco's in VA beach area. This time we order a 2 topping Large pizza, white cheezy bread, and 10 wings for $20.99 not including tax and tip (it was a special offer/coupon that we received in the mail). We ordered online, and it was ready for pickup within 25 minutes. My family enjoyed the pizza, but said that the dough was kind of thick (even though we got the regular/normal dough option--we will order thinner crust next time). The cheesy bread was "suprisingly good" according to my parents and brother...it also came with pizza sauce. We ordered plain wings, which could've been more crispy--we put them in the air fryer for another 7-10 minutes. The wings came with ranch. When I went in there, it was kind of awkward...as there were 2 cashiers on opposite sides of each other. No one greeted me, and when I went up to the cashier...he didn't acknowledge me until I said I ordered online for pickup. He replied "okay?" and I said for...__my name__. He went to get the order and gave it to me, and said that I was all set. Honestly, the Papa Johns across the shopping center has better customer service than this. BLUF: It's better than Dominos, but it's not New York pizza. We got a 2-topping extra large pizza. First thing I noticed was that they are generous with the toppings. Plenty of pepperoni and green peppers. The sauce is very well seasoned. The crust is good, but again, it's not New York and frankly I wouldn't even call it thin crust. I'd go again, and it's replaced Dominos as my "place that's close by" choice. But the hunt for real NY pizza near me continues. read more

Nothing special here. If you're looking for pizza and come across Marco's I would say to go for it, but it won't leave an impression. There was a pretty uneven distribution of cheese to sauce, which I personally like, but I know others may not. My favorite thing about the pizza was the distribution and size of the green peppers. They were generous with the portions on both the peppers and the pepperoni (also loved the idea of having both the old world (small) pepperoni and regular pepperoni). They have a special where if you order two medium two toppings you get them for $13(I think that's what I paid). I ordered one with double pepperoni and cheese and the other with pepperoni and sliced sausage. I also ordered cheese sticks and a 2 liter drink. They also offer these phenomenal "crusts". I chose to get triple garlic. The pizza was delicious and the crust was to die for. The cheese sticks were soft and completely cheesy. My son loved it as well. It was so good that we went back the next day.... Once again I ordered online and duplicated my order. However, when I arrived, a different person was at the front. I handed him my survey receipt that promised a free cheesy bread. But he kept quoting me the price with the bread included. He kept repeating the price, then I told him, "You're suppose to take the code I gave you on the receipt and deduct the cheesy bread." Guess he didn't know that. When we got home the cheesy bread was very different from the day before-not as cheesy and instead of the sliced sausage I had been given the sausage chunks on my pizza. When you're lazy and tired, delivery is the way to go. And when you want pizza, Marcos seems to be better than the other pizza delivery options. Their pizza is always well cooked and we like that it's not overly greasy... because the last thing you want when you're lounging on the couch on a lazy weekend is to feel like you're covered in grease too. We haven diversified to other options on the menu. Our usual is the meat lovers or the supreme pizza with a side of wings or meatballs and some cheesy bread. Good stuff. Well here we go. I read other reviews to see what others said. First of all no one is perfect and don't profile just because they saw some teenagers that they can't do things right. We learn something new all the time. I always believe in second chances. However this is not one of them. I saw the place earlier this am and was interested in what they have on the menu. After I got back from my morning ride I picked up a menu. First I didn't even see them attach to the door. But then I did. Was just sitting in my truck I was reviewing the menu. And a employee came out to talk to me. He didn't have to but wanted to make sure I didn't have any questions. I had a few he explained it and then I left. I decided when I was starving to death that I would give them a shot. So me and my brother ordered different stuff to get delivered. I'm thinking it could be a hot minute before my starving self was filling up the delicious goodness that I ordered. It was here faster then I thought. It made fast people not look so fast. Seeing the food made me happier then a humming bird feeding in a feeder. It came hot and absolutely delicious. Pizza bread sticks pizza bowl all delicious. Now I'm miserable I ate to much. Well, folks, it's because pizza is as personal as it gets. There is a pie for everyone but not every pie finds it's person. After all, I'm a St. Louis girl who went to college in Chicago and prefers NY-style pie over deep dish any day... but my first love is that cracker-thin crust that makes a crispy CRUNCH when you bite into it... and the thin crust pizza DID NOT disappoint. We also got the breadsticks with jalapeno sauce and it was AMAZING! I've been ordering pizza from this place weekly since my first time here and am even more satisfied every time! After months of excitement about a new restaurant option, we were simply underwhelmed. There is some fierce competition in the area with at least three different pizza options within one mile. That said, we were left without a compelling reason to keep coming back after our experience with a salad, pizza, and overall service. The pizza was on-par (at best) with any major pizza chain while the salad was meh. At a more premium price point compared to most chain options, I'd rather save a few bucks or visit elsewhere in the neighborhood for a better experience. My kids like this pizza so we've been steady customers since it opened. Never again! The delivery person asked for more tip after dropping off the pizza. He harassed the babysitter and asked to speak with my husband who was working in his office at the time. Traumatized the kids by yelling at my husband so much so that they called me to come home because they were scared. Husband called the store to complain immediately but nothing came of it.
