The sandwich "A Wreck" was good, the bread, wheat, was good and fresh, as was the produce, lettuce, tomato, and pickle. The soup, chicken pot pie, was tasty, if a bit salty. It was thick and a lot of veggies in it. The reason for the 3 star was the environment and overall response of employees. When I shared with the sandwich artist that I had never visited a Potbelly Sandwich Works before I asked for a recommendation, the response was, "Well everything is there on the menu." The employee seemed uninterested in making the service look good, just a "tell me what you want" demeanor. Nothing rude, just uninterested. The environment was a bit dirty, trash on the floor around the register and drinks station. In addition to trash, napkins on the floor in the dining area. Leftover trash on a few tables, it is obvious that customers are expected to bus the table but a few hadn't and items stayed on the tables (2) and bar area for the duration of my visit, 20-25 minutes. In addition tables needed to be wiped down. It was not real busy at the time of my visit, on a Wednesday at 1:30pm, so it makes sense that employees would have time to keep the dining area clean. read more

Potbelly is normally my favorite sandwich shop. But today it was awful. I took my tuna with hot peppers home. I opened it up and it's soaked in the oil that the peppers sit it. This is my regular order and it's never been this bad. So it's extremely oily which is making the bread soggy. I eat part of the sandwich that isn't soaked and it tasted really bad. Not like the tuna had expired. I can't put my finger on it but it was gross. And not only that, there were TWO long hairs in my sandwich! I got the works on wheat and added some regular toppings like Mayo, lettuce, tomatoe etc. Service was so so, the African American lady can improve her attitude. Would have been five stars if not for her. The chip selection and soda selection are better then any other sandwich shop I've been too. Even better then those crazy 300 soda dispensers. Those things seem to always mix a bit of soda and it always tastes different. Here they offer bottles. And the Voodoo chips. Finally someone who knows chips! Came here on Sunday with my wife and kid since we were running errands and starving! I was looking forward to a Potbelly's sandwich since it's been awhile, but man did this location miss the mark. (We've been here before and it was nothing spectacular, but this time was just not a good experience). Initially there was two people working behind the counter - not a huge deal as we were still able to order right away, but would it kill them to clean the place up? The floors were covered in food, leaves, and trash...the tables were disgusting as well. I ended up wiping down a big round table and chairs with wipes because I was so grossed out by it. If you're jonesing for a sandwich...might want to just skip this location and head to another one. read more

I went here for the first time last week and their sandwiches look great. The problem I had was that they only have mayo, deli mustard, or oil as options for their sandwiches. I've never seen a sandwich shop not have yellow mustard, and many other options for the sandwiches. My wife and I enjoy Potbelly's, it's a great place to stop by for food. The line here moves pretty efficiently, you don't have to wait too long to make your order or be served, even if it's packed. The food here is great, this is primarily a sandwich shop, and we love all their sandwiches, especially the pizza sandwich and Mediterranean sandwich. The salads here are pretty good too, we enjoy the Mediterranean salad the most. The deserts here are good too, the chocolate chip oatmeal cookies are delicious and so are the milkshakes. I'm a huge potbelly's fan! I've ordered multiple menu items over the past 10 years or so from various locations and am always pleased. This review, though, is more about the customer service I just had because it really stood out. I placed an order for delivery that never arrived. It was that classic delivery debacle where an hour passes, you call to find out what happened, they say it went out 20 min. ago, and the delivery driver confirms they left it... but you never actually got it. So you're hungry but content to ask for a refund and make your own food. Well. The employee talked my situation over with the manager and they not only refunded my order, but still opted to remake it, have it delivered ASAP, added some cookies, and apologized for the situation. I'm so pleasantly surprised and really, really appreciate the extra level of service offered. Thank you! PS. While I'm at it, I did do curbside last week too. Oh why oh why do I give second chances???? Went to this Potbelly again ... please view the pics and see what "double meat" gets you. My husband went back and told the guys and he said he would make it again... all three sandwiches. But they seem really dazed and confused so my husband just asked for the money back. They gave him $6 (the cost of the "double meat"). We are NOT happy customers. No wonder this place is always empty. I typically order the chicken salad- and often order to go, via the app for delivery, etc- and 4 times now, my sandwich has been delivered with no chicken salad. Everything about this place is disgusting. Starting with the employees attitude. Ordered online at 9:30 and they close at 10pm. Doors were locked & when i got there at 9:35 they looked at me with a dirty look as if i was a bother to be there. I suggested ordering Potbelly for a work lunch but unfortunately didn't read the negative reviews beforehand. First off, the website wouldn't allow us to order lunch combos without an error showing up. So a co-worker had to call in the order, during which the associate showed her irritation for the time involved. Order arrives and no milkshakes were included (we had ordered 4). The driver said, "This happens all the time, I'll be back." So we checked the rest of the order. Three salads had the wrong cheese, 1 person got the wrong chips and 1 person's bag of chips were burst open (after being placed at the bottom of the bag). I called and let the associate know who I was and where I was calling from. She (a Latina employee) said, "I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know...". I interrupted her and let her know the delivery guy was bringing the milkshakes and that since he was coming back, could he include the correct chips and replacement chips. She said yes with major attitude. I was BLOWN AWAY that someone in CUSTOMER SERVICE had the nerve to talk to a customer like that. So instead of immediately writing a Yelp review, I called and asked to speak to the manager. It turns out he was the one who answered. He offered to cancel the order, refund the amount charged, and was very apologetic and said he would talk to this employee. I appreciated his concern, but this employee should be fired. He also offered to come by my work with samples to apologize in person the following week. That didn't happen but due to COVID-19, I won't hold that against him. This is the closest Potbelly to me and to my work but I will never order from them again. If you hate people, don't work in customer service, simple enough! This Potbelly Sandwich Shop is just like all of the other ones that you have seen or been too. If you have been to one before then you know all about what their sandwiches are like. When I do come here I usually get their "A Wreck" sandwich in an original size. The sandwich is made with salami, angus roast beef, turkey, smoked ham with melted Swiss which is then toasted. You go down the line to add your condiments/toppings you want. I usually go for the mayo, lettuce, onions and add avocado to it. Overall it is a pretty good sandwich and a different sandwich place alternative if you like your sandwiches. 3.5 stars for me. read more
