Had an appointment on Friday at 10am. When I walked in there were three service advisors but no one helped me. When one was available she went to help a customer who arrived AFTER me which was a little irritating. When another advisor came over to help. He was helpful and friendly. The waiting area is really nice and they play great soft rock music. I waited for about two hours for the outcome and I will need to return to complete the repair. 4 stars for not being assisted before a later arriving customer. read more

I wanted to love this dealership- but after more than two decades with Pajouh BMW (previously Courtesy), we know them pretty well. I feel a review is absolutely warranted. We've purchased three BMWs at this dealership, and purchased extended services on our most recent fourth (purchased elsewhere, for reasons listed below). Buying them new is easy, although you can absolutely find a better deal almost anywhere- servicing them at this dealership is next to impossible. Car dropoffs and pickups frequently take more than an hour each, even when scheduled well in advance by the dealership themselves. Don't be surprised when you find yourself parked on a sofa for an hour- it happens almost every time. Every visit, I witness visible disorganization and other frustrated customers camped out in the showroom. I've had to call my work and take a half day because the wait times were so obscene. Once you're done waiting to drop off- services at this dealership cost more than double the price of the local specialty shop (and easily take double the time). While dealership services are always higher regardless of location, this dealership consistently takes the cake. They often miss glaring issues (last time I left after a check, I noticed a fog light was out that they didn't mention), and consistently push extra (usually unnecessary) services. We've shown up for service appointments they scheduled, and then been turned away during check-in after an hour wait because they forgot the mileage minimums on a package and realized we hadn't hit them yet. We've paid for different services, and later had private BMW mechanics tell us the services either weren't done or were done badly (multiple times, multiple mechanics!). Why my rating is so abysmally low: Packages and warranties are basically useless, as it's next to impossible to get a call back from BMW to check status and schedule services. My BMW app is somehow more useful than the dealership. They don't answer phones, they don't respond to voicemails, and are even largely unresponsive to texts. I'm polite, understanding, and do realize things slip through the cracks- but it shouldn't take more than a week to hear back about simple warrantied maintenance (and I followed up!). Reception, although very responsive, is unable to access car-specific information, so the customer is stuck waiting for an unresponsive BMW team to give them a call "when they can." It's incredibly frustrating, especially when we've purchased so many vehicles through their team. I've worked with the BMW dealerships in Marin and Sacramento to fix both maintenance and body issues, and the experiences were laughably better (so much so that I'd absolutely tow to Sacramento if I ever needed a dealership collision repair). I don't trust the work here anymore after multiple experiences, including one where my bumper fell off when closing the trunk because it was improperly attached with less than half the required hardware. The collision center in Sacramento was quick to identify that it had been improperly attached by the Chico dealership, and fixed it for free. While the Pajouh dealership looks pretty, that's about it. I would make the journey to another dealership, even if you're local. Shoot, just buy the car online- truly, buying a car unseen with no warranty and then taking it to the local specialty shop is more trustworthy, cheaper, and vastly more convenient. I would not trust this dealership when purchasing a used vehicle, and wouldn't recommend them when purchasing a new one, either. This Subaru dealer 'loves their customers' while they're purchasing and paying... and right up until they actually need something. Do not count on Subaru supporting you with any goodwill if you have a request that out of policy even the slightest. If you purchase at this dealership (or any Subaru dealership) be sure to get your vehicle serviced at that specific location as often as you can so you can develop a history. Since I hadn't gone back to this dealership for any repairs since 2023 (this is where I bought the vehicle, mind you) I was penalized and denied a goodwill claim for a known defect in the vehicle. A defect with the radio head unit that has been written about exhaustively in online forums. They didn't ask if I had taken it anywhere else, or any other questions before making and assumption, pointing at policy and denying my request for repairs. For a company that says they live by the "love your customers" code, my experience was anything but. They seemed to be focused on being right instead of doing the right thing. All it would have taken is a little actual care, and they couldn't be bothered. Disappointing experience all around. read more

They never addressed the issue that my outback was built with a defect. I was told to contact the customer advocate who basically read something from AI as to why I have no case and basically saying at 152,000 miles it is at end of life. My car was only serviced and maintained at Pajouh. For a long time I was told my oil light indicator was broken and they would just top it off. Reslity was a much bigger problem. The $7,000 estimate to have them repair was over twice as much as the second opinion I received. It is impossible to contact the dealership owner. My new car is a Toyota, a brand that had served me well in the past. read more

Service here is amazing! I made an appointment online and arrived first thing in the morning & met with Sam. He was so helpful and explained several things about my car I did not know. They got my car into the shop while I waited in their showroom. There were plenty of drinks & snacks. The service time was about right & the tech put together a video showing the inspection of my car. All together I had a pleasant service experience and am looking forward to my next appointment. Inflated Quote, Lack of Transparency, and No Support Pajouh Chevrolet provided a $14,579 quote to replace the CVT in my daughter's 2021 Buick Encore GX, just 4,000 miles past its 60K powertrain warranty. The repair was quoted at over 25 hours of labor for a job GM lists at 8.5 hours flat rate. They included 16 quarts of fluid at $29/quart, when the job requires 10 quarts and GM's retail price is $11.82/quart. The transmission itself was also $1,300 more than what I could buy from multiple GM-authorized parts sellers. The total quote was nearly triple the cost of a well-regarded local transmission shop. I approached this calmly and respectfully, hoping for a reasonable discussion or discount though none was offered. I also later found out the vehicle was flagged as a prior rental, which GM used to deny all goodwill assistance, despite the failure of the transmission which matched a known TSB. We will not be doing business with this dealership, and based on this experience, I will not be buying another GM vehicle. read more

Fraud - Misrepresentations - Beware this shady dealership and dishonest management. My experience with BMW of Chico / Pajouh Automotive Center has been so bad that I feel obligated to warn other buyers. I bought a 2025 BMW M440i remotely from this dealership. Before paying for a car I'd never seen in person, I repeatedly asked about the condition. I was told by their staff that: * The car had no dents or scratches and the wheels were "in good condition, not scuffed." * The only issue was a minor scuff on the rear bumper. * The car was "very close to flawless." * It was a BMW Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, which implies it passed BMW's own inspection standards. Based on those assurances, plus a walk-around video and a couple of carefully framed photos, I moved forward with the purchase. When the car was picked up by the transport company on their lot, the inspection photos told a very different story. The car had: * Deep gouges and scrapes under the front bumper * Multiple paint chips on the doors and hood * Significant curb rash on the wheels * Other cosmetic damage that was never disclosed to me All of this damage was photographed before the car ever left their dealership. I contacted the dealership immediately with the inspection photos. After several attempts, the sales manager, David Lord, finally agreed in writing that they wanted to resolve this amicably and asked me to get an estimate from a BMW-certified body shop. I did exactly that and sent the estimate to him and other managers. Since then? Silence. No calls, no emails, no follow-up. Now that they have my money and the car is off their lot, they have simply ignored me. In my opinion, this is not how an honest, reputable BMW dealership should operate. Representing a car as "near flawless" and "Certified Pre-Owned," while undisclosed damage is clearly visible in pre-shipping photos, and then going dark after asking the customer to get an estimate, is unacceptable. If you're considering buying from BMW of Chico / Pajouh Automotive Center--especially remotely--be extremely careful. Insist on a truly independent inspection, and be prepared for very different treatment after they have your payment. I'm now pursuing formal civil and criminal complaints with the appropriate agencies because I don't want anyone else to go through this. read more

Car was sent there to replace a coolant hose that was visibly leaking. Quote came in for over $14,000.00 to replace entire radiator (THAT WAS NOT LEAKING), coolant hoses. Was also informed a wheel was bent. Funny it does not shimmy shake bounce at speed etc., ANYTHING. Also an additional item was a complete brake job, front and back. Rotors, pads everything. YOU JUST DID THIS AT LAST SERVICING! All the parts listed I looked up with MB oem parts. The markup at this location is over 100% from RETAIL. This dealerships service department are absolute crooks. In the end had just the obvious leaking hose replaced and guess what..... No more leak. There was NO POINT in changing out the entire radiator etc. CROOKS!!! The only decent one in the entire place was the service girl Casey who has the unfortunate job of calling customers to give them these ridiculous quotes for unneeded service at exuberantly inflated prices. Do yourself a favor and take your MB to Rocklin. They'll treat you right and won't try to swindle you into unneeded overpriced service work. read more

A deposit was required before anyone would look at my car mainly because I had taken it to a mechanic in my town instead of them. They never gave me an estimate for the work that needed to be done. We found a Volvo XC90 online that was located at Pajouh & it was the exact car we were interested in! I contacted the dealership to make sure it was still available and set up a test drive for the following morning. We live a couple hours north of Chico and arrived a little later than initially expected. We were promptly greeted by Edgar and my fiancé and I each set out on our test drives. Edgar & Nick went above and beyond to get us the best interest rate, keep our 4 year old daughter entertained, and make the sales process as painless as possible. I can't speak highly enough about the entire staff. They even reached out the following day after the sale (we purchased on a Sunday) with a better loan/APR, overnighted us the paperwork, and reached out when they located our second key fob. We have had multiple vehicles that needed serviced at this location as they are the only GMC and Subaru dealer close to us and we choose to do all services at a dealer. We have had multiple run ins with service advisors not being honest, blatantly lying and being shady about repairs, refusing to call repairs into warranty let alone contact warranty and state that they did, or they call it in not as the job needing performed. They are extremely rude, laugh at you on the phone and refuse to help in any way. The professionalism is out the door, they do not do what they say, they don't return calls and nothing gets handled unless you go there yourself and demand it. We are currently going back and forth with them on repairing our truck who we've also contacted GM Corporate about and had them contact the dealer for us... due to there rudeness and unwillingness to listen to our concerns on a $80K truck. Pajouh was suppose to reach out to us to take on repairs financially, I waited over a week for a call and finally called and got Told they had no open case or knowledge after being told by GM they'd repair the vehicle and had record of contact from there service manager from the week prior. I asked to speak to service managers and they are never "available" they promise calls and never call or reach out in any way. I would avoid this dealership at all costs due to there rudeness, unprofessionalism, and poor communication/lies. read more

My volvo needed brakes. Called the parts department asking for a size of a rotor and was told they are not ALLOWED to give out this INFORMATION. They could only sell me the part. The sales department employs dishonest tactics. We went there to buy a new car. They promised that if if they didn't have what we wanted, they would find it for us. We agreed to to the $2500 "GOOD FAITH DEPOSIT". What a mistake on our part! They said if they couldn't locate the right car, the deposit that they said they would apply toward a vehicle purchase would be returned. Then they located a car that was much more expensive than we wanted and we turned it down. When we asked for our deposit back, they had already deposited it. We got our deposit back after much strife. We have bought a car from this dealer before but we will never make that mistake again after the way they treated us. read more

3 months ago we bought a new 2023 Volvo XC40 awd from this dealership, which was a 3 hour drive to get there, because we couldn`t find one in our area (payed cash for the vehicle) Since having it we have had some issues with the radio & A/C coming on automatically, I have called them probably 10- 12 times asking for help, they tell me I will call you back tomorrow ! I have heard this from about 6 different Managers and they NEVER call me back to help me with this problem. The only call back I have received was from two ladies Sam & Shannon. Very, very dissatisfied with both Pajouh automotive's business practices and customer service. Pajouh Volvo sold our family a 2020 Volvo XC90 but failed to disclose that it had 1 year less of factory warranty than expected. Instead of the expected 4 year 50k factory warranty it was instead a 3 year 50k warranty; they had taken delivery from Volvo in Oct 2019 (thereby starting the factory warranty coverage) but leased the vehicle to my family in Oct 2020. We then bought out the lease in May/June 2023 I only realized this issue when I started shopping for an extended warranty in June 2024 and learned that my factory warranty had expired in Oct 2023. I immediately notified both Jessica the Finance Mgr and Jerry the owner and then spent the next 3 months trying to resolve the issue via numerous phone calls and emails. Both the Finance Mgr and owner were unresponsive for weeks at a time failing to return phone calls or respond to my many emails. In fact I am still waiting for an explanation and resolution. When I met her she was literally in the middle of a zoom call, she said hold on let me get off, got off and gave me full attention. She knows how to listen and get it done. Talk about Courtesy!!! The entire team from receptionist Nadia to service engineer Dane and driver Cliff took care of me like family! These kind folks live up to the company name and far exceed it!!! I'm a physician and unable to leave the hospital to drop off the car so Nadia listened patiently to my story. Due to dangerousness of me driving with brakes imminently about to fail, she made no promises but managed to rearrange the schedule to get me in a lot sooner. I would have had to wait a month or more otherwise! Nadia went the extra mile to reserve a replacement vehicle and kindly arranged for Cliff to drive *over an hour* to deliver it my hospital and swap it for my vehicle! Then Dane kept me posted on the progress on my brake repair, which required special parts due to being a custom AMG. Dane handled all the difficulties with patience and a "can-do" attitude. He explained the repairs to me in terms a non-mechanic could understand and got it done ahead of schedule. The courtesy vehicle was spotless and a fun drive. Lastly Cliff has the patience of an angel - he called and texted me to tell me he had arrived while I was trying to stop a patient from bleeding out...I finished as quickly as I could but wasn't able to let him know till 20 minutes later but he was still patiently waiting for me. When I explained what had happened he thanked me for my service and was genuinely concerned about my patient! Thankfully we were able to stabilize him...but his concern touched me. Since the car had gotten repaired a day ahead of schedule I hadn't had a chance to fill the gas tank, but they all waived it....I can't tell you how much my interactions with the kind folks at Courtesy Motors renewed my hope in humanity. I'm used to pouring out to help others, and I'm rarely on the receiving end of help...what a humbling and inspiring experience to be so well taken care of!! Thank you Courtesy Motors! Purchased a 2021 Equinox from a different dealer. But I needed a warranty repair done. They were courteous, listened to my problems and scheduled an appointment to do the work needed. Dropped my car off, they even had a loaner car (at no charge to me). They informed me what they diagnosed, original dealer I bought the vehicle from added a aftermarket Elo gps (which I didn't want to begin with $995.) wasn't installed correctly and affected the car's electrical system. I had to pay for to have the aftermarket part disabled (a fair price). They kept me informed and the staff was kind and courteous from beginning to end. I'd give a zero if available. I bought my Mercedes at Courtesy and have had serviced there for the last 4 years. I'd say at least 80% of the time they don't have the part, don't follow up or keep my car for several days longer than promised. Way too many stories to elaborate however this last service had me stranded for 4 days in the bay until Mercedes WC opened. Courtesy would not refund for their bad service or compensate me for my lost time and day off from work. WC provided excellent service and reinforced the disfunction at Courtesy. The by far MOST DISTURBING detail is learning that the service person who checks you in gets docked pay for bad reviews . My service person was not the problem. It was either the mechanic or shoddy parts. What a horrible, horrible policy. I called to confirm and was told it comes from the top, meaning Mr Pajou. You Mr Pajou are a horrible human being. read more

Very disappointed with the amount of time it is taking staff to do a simple oil change that I had an appointment for. I brought my car in on 05/01 at 1:30PM for an oil change and was told that it would take them up to 2.5 hours to get to my car and complete my oil change. Fast forward to 5PM, they are still not done with the car, in fact they never got to it. Now today 05/02 I'm told my car still will not be ready today. I'm just a bit frustrated as my car is my mode of transport. Staff either needs to manage their time better or be honest with me as to when my car is expected to be done. I have had 3 mercedes in past. I had engine light turn on on my current 2008 350. Called dealer to make an appointment and was told they don't service vehicles older than 10 years. They also said service manager would call me, but he never did. Its outrageous to find a dealer that doesn't repair its cars. I had my car serviced before at this dealer and it was over 10 years at the time. So if you want a dealership that services your vehicle, skip Courtesy. They didn't have the courtesy to call me back. It has been several years since we purchased a car from a dealer, but our experience could not have been better. The staff at Courtesy able to accommodate our schedule and show us cars when it was convenient for us. We never felt pressured to "buy today" and were shown several options so that we were certain the car we choose was right for us. When our main sales person, Ian Haslebacher, was not available, they had some type of buyers assistant work with us while testing different models. I believe his name was Milad (not sure of the spelling). Not the best experience at Courtesy automotive. I scheduled a service on my AMG GLE43 by calling in to their service number. I was asked to drop the car off the following Tuesday for service B and tire replacement. When I arrived, I was told the tires were not in stock and I would need to pre-pay for them. Having taken time off work to drop the car off, this was not very professional of them. I pre-paid for the tires and rescheduled my drop off. I was able to drop the car off two days later and was to pick it up the following evening. The service rep gave me his cell phone number and said to text or call if I had questions. I texted the following evening to ensure the car was ready with no reply. I drove across town to get my car and it wasn't ready. I was told to come back to following day, on a Saturday, to pick it up. Another two hours wasted on something a simple phone call or response to my text would have prevented. I arrived Saturday afternoon to get my car and noticed a promotion for 150 dollars off new tires, which was in effect when I purchased them earlier in the week. I asked why I wasn't given the discount and no one knew. They said they would take care of it. A week later, I get a call from Courtesy Mercedes asking for feedback on my experience. I shared with them this response. No call back. Mercedes corporate called and asked for feedback. I provided the same response. No call back. I filed a claim with my credit card for the 150 dollar discrepancy. Still waiting on them to reimburse me for the overcharge. No apology for the wasted time and lack of professional courtesy regarding updates on my appointment or service delays. I'll update if anything positive happens with the. As of now, I would be extremely hesitant to purchase a car from this dealership given this experience. read more

After already knowing what was wrong with my car I took It to courtesy to get fixed, they not only didn't even check the initial problem they dismantled my water pump in the process and then told me that was the problem. My car is now leaking antifreeze when it wasn't before. This isn't the first time I've taken one of my Mercedes to this specific dealer and had a problem to where they have tried to charge me to repair a factory faulty SBC unit that was and is still under factory warranty Mercedes is supposed to fix for free. I had to go all the way to Sacramento where they did in fact replace my SBC at no cost and to my surprise they had a lot to say about this dealer. read more

It must be the reason why Mercedes repair/service cost so much; I feel like every service and/or repair that has been done here has added up more than a regular service has costed. I've only gotten it serviced 3 times and I think it's time to reach out to the next authorized dealer. Take their service times and multiply it. Really bad experience with this Chico Mercedes dealership. We towed our Mercedes car there for repairs. They replace fuel tank under extended warranty and they came back with whole 9 yard of of recommendations, cost about $3,300 in services. Long story short, they recommend me to replace my battery, tech did a load test on the battery and result no good, plus they mention that the battery in the car right now is original and never been change out . So I was like ok let just replace the battery since the car there. Next day I got a phone call from service advisor , telling me that the technician can not replace the battery on my car because they don't have the blade key to get in the trunk. Ok so I told them that I live far away from there and ask if I bring the blade key for them next day and how long does that take. Respond was 1 hr wait, so bought the key next, and wait in the lobby. Next thing service came back with bad new, saying that they don't have the right size of the battery, and they have to order another batter for me, it would take 2 to 3 hrs wait. So they offer me to leave my car there and they will deliver once they change out the battery, but I was like so how am I going to get home, since my wife drop me off and she left already, so I ask them if they can jump start the car and cancel the job, so service advisor check with the tech, during that time my wife call and check up , I told her what happen, she say she still near by and can come back and pick me up and leave the car there to get the battery change out. So i told the service advisor that my wife coming back to pick me up and I can leave the car here to get my battery change out. His respond was No... I cancelled the repair and there for I have to take my car out here. What kinda dealership is this. U tell me that my battery need to be change out and now u say the tech just jump starts and I need to get out . First I wanna mention to you people out there that this dealership is a crook!!! How u going to tell me that my battery failed battery test and say that my battery in the vehicle is original . When u don't have the blade key to access my trunk in the first place. We scheduled an appointment for our 20,000 mile service, we were told it would take 2 hrs. We live over an hour away so we planned for a 2 hr wait. 51/2 hours later our car is finally ready. They finally came to bring us our car and it was the wrong car! It wasn't ours. I can believe how unprofessional and disorganized this place is. Mercedes is usually a great company that prides themselves on quality and customer service. Chico was a huge disappointment, and waist of time, hopefully the service was done correctly.
