I have been getting my haircut here for many years. All of the barbers are very friendly and great at what they do. It is a good place to get a haircut for all ages especially now with the addition of Rudy. Although all of their barbers are skilled at all types of styling, if you are looking for a nice clean traditional cut I would recommend Alex or Tony. If you are looking for something more modern, like a fade or tape-up, I would recommend Rudy. And lastly, Nina is sort of balance between both and also does a great job all around. I have personally had my haircut by all of them, and I have left Palace more than satisfied every time. Overall very friendly people, superior quality, and fast service at fair prices. Excellent barber! I have had 4 different people do my hair at Palace and each one has been exactly what i wanted. Nina is very friendly and courteous and always welcoming. Rudy most recently cut my hair and even though it was the first time he has cut my hair it came out perfectly. They listen to what you want and are far superior to other barbers i have used. I got my hair cut here on Sunday and the new barber is absolutely fabulous. Not only does he have a great background story and lots of experience, he cuts hair really well! I have to say this I the best Barber shop I have been to. You walk into the door, immediately greeted by the staff and are almost transported to a time where people took pride in their work and relationship with the customer. Once you start getting your haircut that's when conversation starts you almost feel like a part of the family, you laugh you learn the history of Port Washington, and then you look up with the best haircut your could get. Got my hair trimmed the other day by Rudy and it was cool. I discussed a look I was going for and he gave me some great advice on how to do the haircut so it fit and complimented me. His attention to detail is great. The finishing touches with the straight razor for my sideburns and the neck feels good followed by the hot towel. Rudy's a gentleman and runs a fine shop. I have been going to this place since I was a little boy and it only gets better with time. The most recent time I went there I got my hair cut from Rudy who is new but not new to giving a great haircut. He not only gives a great cut but also pays the most attention to details that I have ever seen. My son's hair looked so good my husband switched to Palace Barber Shop too! All of their barbers are excellent, but we have a special fondness for Rudy. He really knows how to talk to my 13-year-old son, 'mano a mano' about grooming and styling. He gives him a look that is trendy but appropriate for a 13-year-old. Best barber shop in port hands down I've been going there for 4 years and I've never had a problem. They have tons of metered parking. Rudy is a down to earth guy who really goes out of his way to please you the customer. Tony does a classic cut and is always friendly and gets the job done. The first thing I did when I moved to Port was find a good barber and I'm so glad I found Rudy. I come in once a week for a shape up and shave and Rudy and the guys always take good care of me. Palace was highly recommended to me. Best advice I've gotten. Rudy cut my hair on my first visit and he's a true Pro. Short hair looks easy but it's not.
