Great Great Great Service!!! I saw the Yelp reviews and was a bit concerned. I decided to call Aden at Palm Beach Grill Repair anyway and he promptly called back. We set an appointment time and he was there as scheduled. I have high end, somewhat expensive, built in grill. I called another grill company and they gave me an estimate approaching $2000 to clean and attempt to repair the grill. The reason I say attempt is because their techs (2 of them) came out an said "it could be this or it could be that"! They were unsure. Additionally the other company said if I didn't order ALL the parts they recommended and they determined I needed something else they would charge me another service call fee!! Aden came out, immediately figured out what the problem was. Aden told me most of parts on the grill the other company recommended be replaced were fine!!! Aden's charge to fix and clean my grill was a FRACTION of what the other company wanted to charge me! The grill looks and works GREAT! Ok, I know this is gonna be cheesy but here it goes anyway... Aden Reese, the proprietor, offers home grill repair and cleaning in the Florida and Cape Cod regions. In early July, 2012, we hired him to clean and repair our grill in Cape Cod. He came to our home, did a minimal amount of work and stated that he needed to order a necessary part. He asked for $250 to cover the cost of the part and the cleaning/repair. He promptly left, stating he would contact us when the part arrived. At the end of July, three weeks later, he still had not contacted us. I called him, and he said he lost our number. He did say he remembered where we lived, however. He told me the part arrived and he would come over the following day. He did not come. I called him every day, five days straight, at 9am, 12pm, and 5pm, and he never picked up. Finally on the 5th day, I called from a new phone number, and not surprisingly, he picked up. He was startled to hear my voice. His voice trembled as he gave his vague excuse, which he couldn't even produce without trailing off. He admitted dropping the ball, and promised he would come that same night, or if not then, the following morning (today). Now, he has still not arrived, and will not answer when I call his phone. I don't want to dump on the guy, that is not my intention. However, I do want to expose him as one who should not be trusted as a professional, and definitely do NOT front him any money or hire him without a written contract in place. He finally contacted me after I told him I would post the facts on yelp and other sites, telling me that he has several of my family members phone numbers and our address, and he threatened to post them online so, as he put it, we would be forced to change numbers or even move. He also stated that he owed us nothing, that the $250 covered the initial labor and parts. I presented evidence of his shoddy workmanship, and he said I was nitpicking. When I hire a contractor, I expect them to use the appropriate parts and not cut corners - he called it fabrication. After everything was said and done - his yelling, interrupting me, and revisionist account of the agreement (there's your fabrication, Aden) - he actually had the incredulity to ask if I still wanted him to fix the grill. As if I am going to welcome in my home an individual who threatened to post my family members' personal info online in an attempt to counter this yelp review based on fact? I will start off by saying This is my opinion, And experience. Contacted Aden Reese to fix my Barbecue. My mother paid his service fee, He then loaned me another barbecue temporarily then took it back and came back with another used piece of garbage which worked maybe two or three times, He then had the goal to charge me again!! He kept promising to get rid of both broken barbecues never happened. Mind you he tried to mix business with pleasure. I called PBGR in the morning. Aden came out that afternoon, he switched out my igniter but the burner tubes were too clogged up with grease to work correctly. He told me to clean it up and if it still wasn't working right he would come out the next day and look at it again. after I cleaned it, it still wasn't right.. so first thing next morning, he arrived back, did what he did and now it's running like new :) very happy with their service; punctual, friendly, and efficient. read more

How many people would take the time to instruct you over the phone on how to fix your grill?My grill wouldn't start and Aden talked me through the process.He said if this didn't work he would make a service call but first let him try and see if we could do it over the phone. Palm Beach Grill Repair is terrific! We moved into a new house looking forward to some fantastic grilling. Unfortunately the grill was a disaster! Aden responded to our call for help quickly. My unfortunate business dealings with him was problematic from the start only got worse . Spent a lot of money to have a fire pit built. He assured me he had build several and he was a craftsman of his trade. He's a craftsman alright ... craftsman of BS. Had to hire someone else to fix leaks and come up with a better solution and more cost effective way for my new pit to work correctly . If you want a headache use him . He should stick to cleaning grills and from what I am reading not so good at that either. Wish I went on to yelp read the reviews . Valuable lesson learned . Always look at reviews you can no longer take people at face value because most have little value in doing the right thing. They just want take your hard earned money and do a crap job for it . He came to my home to repair a grill that wouldn't light. He did find a hole in a gas line and showed it to me. Said he needed $150 to purchase a replacement part. Foolishly, I gave it to him. He said he would contact me the next day. I didn't hear from him for several days so I called and left a message. After several more days I called him from a different number and he answered. He made several excuses (part company out of business, time difference between Florida and another part compny in California). Told he would call me when the part is ordered. Never heard from him despite many calls and emails. Bottom line he took my money and disappeared. I should have read the first Yelp review! read more

Absolute scam artist!! His work is aweful. I bought a fire table from him - he guaranteed it 100% ..... it had problems from the start and he never resolved any of them. Not only was the quality of original work horrendous - but the materials he used were poor poor poor - no quality at all. It was falling apart immediately. I tried to reach him - did a few times - he promised to come and fix the probems - never showed up - and eventually stopped returning calls. Aidan came out several months back did the grill cleaning for $250. Ordered grill handle for $80 plus which he asked me to pay before hand which I foolishly did. I have not seen him nor has he returned my texts. Please think seriously about using someone who takes your money with no return service. read more
