Terrible service! Mystic tan used expired spray tanning lotion. When I demanded my monthly fee back refusing to go there again they refused and said the lotion didn't expire. I contacted mystic tan who said they do have expiration dates. They tried to wipe the dates off the next time I went. Will never go back and still waiting for my refund. I already have had many emails with the manger Alex who was less than helpful and lied and said mystic tan do not have expiration dates read more

DO NOT USE BED 6!!!!!! I was laying in the bed and when I finished my session the doors were WIDE OPEN. I feel so violated and uncomfortable. They claimed it could have been the air conditioning that blew the doors open. So they don't have doors strong enough to hold the AC in? I've been coming to this location for 7 years. When they changed over to Palm Beach Tan, I was even happier than I was before! The staff members are always friendly and accommodating. They want you to have the best tanning experience possible, so they set you up with what they recommend but also won't break the bank. I usually do sunless, and the staff always give me insider tips to not get streak lines or orange feet. If you are a stickler for good customer service, I recommend coming here! read more

This place was way better before it became palm beach tan. Now you can no longer buy packages and get coerced into buying monthly plans. (Perfect for someone who goes tanning twice a month!) Want to buy a single session? No problem that will be 30 dollars + tax. But on the bright side there is plenty of other places to tan in the area! read more

Avoid this place at all costs. Sorry Brittany C, but I had been going here regularly for 2 years and can verify that the negative reviews are not misleading and the issues have not been fixed by new management - they've actually gotten much worse. Here are some of the issues I've dealt with. 1. Horrible customer service. The staff consistently acts like they're doing you a favor by getting you set up. It's like they purposely hire people who look at you like you're the human embodiment of a turd. 2. Long waits. I once waited for over an hour, several times I've waited for 30+ minutes. And even just checking in can take 10+ minutes before you even get to the point where you're waiting for the bed because they usually only have one person checking people in at a time while the other person hovers in the background seemingly doing nothing. 3. Inconsistent service. At other locations I'm treated relatively well and given quality service. Here I'm told there are additional fees for everything that I get for free elsewhere. Even the cardboard things you stand on that were free when I signed on a year are now $2.50 per session! How cheap can these people be? And how can you change the rules of what's free and what's not halfway through a contract? 4. Unhappy/Uneducated employees. The employees who don't treat customers poorly are just miserable at their jobs or uninformed on how services work. Employees have actually said to me "yeah, I know, it was way better when it was Darque tan" or "i know, this place is a mess, everyone is miserable." Other employees haven't been properly trained. I came in for a spray tan before a pool party and stressed the importance of it looking natural only to go in and for some reason only have it spray me from the stomach down. 5. Poorly handled transition from Darque Tan to Palm Beach Tan. When I had a Darque tan membership, I paid $600 for a year of their best quality spray tans in a well furnished room with wet and dry towels, plenty of moisturizers, great lighting and a mirror. Since they've added higher level equipment, they've taken everything nice from that room and put it in the others. It's basically a dungeon now. Terrible lighting, no mirror, nothing to keep your hands and feet from turning orange. Since they turned this room into a dungeon, I asked for a higher level machine and was reminded that I'd have to pay more or use a higher level machine that will make me look orange (the guy actively admitted it'll make me orange). After all this, I asked for a prorated refund for the rest of the year since this is not the service I signed up for. I was told that Palm Beach Tan is simply honoring Darque Tan's previous customers and is not responsible for refunds. I asked for a number or email address for Darque Tan and was told "we don't have that number anymore..." And that was the way they handled my complaint. They did absolutely nothing to try to resolve the issues besides basically saying "it's not our problem" - that, in a nutshell is the Palm Beach Tan motto. The one thing Palm Beach Tan is excelling at is alienating a base of loyal customers. I've been going to this place for 2 years. It wasn't great when it was Darque Tan but it's a hell of a lot worse since it switched over. I would go to any other tanning spot over this and will continue to make everyone aware of what a horrible business this is. I look forward to the day I see the sign on the door change once again. read more

WOW. Words cannot explain the amazing service I received here. From the second I walked through the door, the two girls working were so friendly. They answered all my questions perfectly and have me such a nice, bronzed tan. Not quite sure their names but from what I remember, ask for Attika or Chantal! At Beverly Hills, by whomever is working the counter, I'm always greeted with a smile and even a recommendation, if I need one, of a good bed to use that day. The location, rooms, and beds are always squeaky clean and the experience is always positive; I leave pleased (and hopefully tanned). Dylan is one of my favorite people at the counter because of her laid back, sincere, and friendly demeanor, knowledge of the beds, and her willingness to share her own personal favorites. The manager with the braids (sorry, I forgot your name) knows how to problem solve and make quick, deductive decisions so little hiccups don't needlessly become bigger deals; she's smart! The service and quality have declined since it changed from Darque Tan. No more feet pads only booties that leave unnatural spray tan marks on your feet. No hooks in the rooms for your clothing and the lotion to prevent your nails from turning orange is no longer provided. My experience has been better at the Brentwood location. read more

I have never done business with this company yet they are charging my credit card and refuse to refund me. I was a former member of LeBeach Club and have been tanning at their Sherman Oaks location for over 2 years. However I opened my membership at their Beverly Hills location which closed in February 2016. Rather than notifying members, they transferred my membership to Palm Beach Tan and PB has been charging my card without my authorization. When I went into LeBeach in Sherman Oaks I had to repay and now I am being double billed by both Palm Beach and LeBeach. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Busines Bureau in order to get this resolved and my money refunded from Palm Beach since I have never heard of this company nor ever stepped foot in any of it's locations. Horrible business practices on both ends, but especially for Palm Beach which will not cancel or refund my membership. read more
