I went for a pre-show Happy hour on a weekday. It was very empty but the bartender was friendly and the food and cocktails were good. It was actually really difficult to find the restaurant because it's upstairs from a different one.

To say it plainly, Palma Verde is too good for Times Square. But if you work in the area or must have food that's good, next level good, Palma Verde is a must! First the space is gorgeous, relaxed vibe with top notch service but not in your face annoying. I've been a few times and the food is consistently delicious. The menu is familiar American brunch, lunch and dinner favorites but next level on flavor. Chef Ricardo Cardona is genius as far as I'm concerned! Must haves -- house made cereal with giant marshmallows, egg and cheese sandwich, BLT, caramelized tres onion soup, warm ensalada de pulpo (octopus), buffalo chicken tenders, grilled branzino, rotisserie chicken.

They also have a little section where you can purchase jewelry, coasters and keychains just to name a few. There is some seating here to enjoy your coffee at. They have a few food items too, but I did not get food. I tried the Turkish coffee and an iced latte. The Iced latte was very milky. The Turkish coffee I really only got because it comes in a beautiful pot/cup. It is not something I would think I like but I was wrong. I liked it more than the Iced latte. I was shocked. Their cups they have here are cute as you can see in the pictures. It is a good vibes only place. If I am in the area I would deff come back and try out a different drink and give it another chance.

I tried the blueberry while everyone else went for strawberry, and both were delicious. You can choose your milk (we went with whole), and the evil‑eye decor everywhere gives the place a fun, memorable vibe. The person making the drinks was really sweet, which made the experience even better. At about $9 a drink, it's definitely a splurge, but the flavor is worth it -- you can really taste the fruit, matcha, and milk together. I'd go back for an occasional treat.
