Good breakfast buffet, lots of pastry and fruit options, also have make to order omelets as well as hot food section that includes eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and potatoes. There's also fresh made Belgium waffles and different coffee options. Cost is typically in the $25 to $30 range, which is a lot for a hotel breakfast, but with HHonors it's $10.

Came here for breakfast while staying at Hilton caribe. Breakfast buffet was $27 per person so we just did a la cart. As long as u order an entree any kids under 5 gets to enjoy the buffet for free. The entrees were all pretty good overall, nicely plated and were decent. The hostess took forever to seat us which is a norm at Hilton caribe, slow!

Best breakfast for the money so far. Great selection, friendly staff and gluten free bread on the buffet! My omelet was delicious.

Very good breakfast buffet conveniently located in the hotel. More of a selection than the other buffet at the italian restaurant.

The food has a simple, understated presentation, but the flavors were genuinely delicious! Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The highlight for us was definitely the vegan mofongo, which is surprisingly hard to find. It was so nice to have a traditional Puerto Rican dish with a vegan option, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Cowboy Burger and requested it medium, but it came out well done. That seems to be fairly common from what I've experienced so far in Puerto Rico, so it wasn't a major issue. My husband had the Americana Breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. The other couple with us both ordered the ham and cheese croissant and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. In fact, everyone in our group is already talking about coming back before we leave! The restaurant is very cute inside, with a welcoming atmosphere and a full bar. They also offer brunch, lunch and dinner, and outdoor seating, making it a great option any time of day. This was a wonderful find, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a pleasant dining experience.

Everything we ordered was very good, and on an extremely hot day, I was especially appreciative of how well the A/C was keeping up. I was actually a little cold--and I'm never cold. It felt so nice after getting overheated right before we got there. One thing I noticed while wandering around Old San Juan is that some restaurants likely survive on location and foot traffic alone, while others earn people seeking them out. Semilla definitely felt like the latter. It's tucked just around the corner from some of the busiest pedestrian areas, so it felt like we escaped the crowds for a little while without actually going very far. Overall, I'd happily come back. If you're staying nearby and looking for a good meal without being surrounded by the busiest tourist crowds, Semilla is well worth checking out.

The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, and the service was excellent from beginning to end, from the hostess to the servers and bussers. Our server, Jeffery, was amazing! He was energetic, professional, attentive, and you can genuinely tell he takes his position seriously. I loved that! We were greeted with complimentary sopa de plátano and bacalaítos, and I was NOT expecting to love them as much as I did. This was by far the best sopa de plátano I've ever had. I never thought I could fall in love with a soup, but here we are! (I ordered a whole extra regular size bowl )The bacalaítos were another surprise because they're normally not something I order or even particularly like--and I've tried quite a few in my life--but these were absolutely delicious. My S/O and I shared the churrasco with arroz mamposteao, along with a side of avocado salad and majado de viandas. Everything was a straight 10/10. Not one disappointment on the table. They also make an amazing Rojo Pico, which was the perfect addition to the experience. 100% recommend Casita Miramar. Don't overthink JUST GO! Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, and most importantly, genuinely delicious, quality Puerto Rican food. This place absolutely deserves the hype and its spot in my top two!
