I saw online that they have the crispy duck soup & thought I would see if they make the whole duck/on the bone, not just a duck breast. I love the crispy duck but I like it on the bone, they usually give you half a duck so you get a mixture of duck, leg/thigh meat dark & breast meat, the flavors are better with the duck on the bone with the light & dark duck meats. Anyhoo, they didn't have Red Curry Crispy duck on the menu but they were so kind as to make it for me. They told me they make it on the bone, they just cut it off the bone before serving. This sounded reasonable & I have to have my Crispy Duck fix, so Presto! Like magic, soon, a lovely lunch plate of Red Curry Crispy Duck, cut off the bone, was indeed presented to me OuiOui. I was also brought a side salad & crispy veggie egg roll. The salad was super fresh, but I didn't like the dressing. It was way too sweet, pooled into the bottom of the cup. Next time I will ask for no dressing. The egg roll was perfectly cooked, however it was served cold/room temperature. Would have been better served hot or at least warm. I'm very pleased that I have found a crispy duck dish that has light & dark duck meats. Not just a duck breast. The crispy duck here was also cooked beautifully. Star of the evening was the outstanding jungle curry, at Thai spicy level. A ton of fresh veggies and chicken, delicious sauce, powerful but not brutal heat, and some much needed rice on the side to temper the flames.
