I was drolling over all the delicious pies they serve, but not for what you are thinking. I was jealous because they looked so good and he had a ton of different flavors, but I am gluten-free, hence the drolling. I kept telling my husband to order that one, order that one, because they all sounded so good. When I told the staff I was gluten-free he told me that he had one for me. REALLY!!!! YEAH!!! It was delicious!!! Even without a crust!!!! The service was fantastic. I was really happy that I got to try one of his pies. Prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend eating here!!!!

Every pie is so delicious. Beef and Brandy is my usual fave, but chicken and bacon is close.

These are the kind of pies to warm your soul on a crisp Fall day. We got six pies delivered via Goldbelly and took them with us to a cabin in the woods. We didn't have any eggs to brush the tops with, but what emerged from the oven was still absolutely delicious. The crust so flaky with that slight crumble. I was truly surprised by how juicy the filling was given that the pies did not have a soggy bottom. We got the steak and stout, chicken and mushroom and southern breakfast. All of them were scrumptious! I particularly enjoyed the rosemary in the steak and stout with the tender steak and the chives in the southern breakfast with the yummy sausage. I'd order again just to have around the house and treat myself!

I had the mini blueberry and apple pie. The crust is flaky, buttery and delicious. The filling was not overly sweet. The crust and filling made for a perfect bite! The service was awesome. I'm visiting from CA and I believe this is what they call southern hospitality. The guy that rung me up was the sweetest!

Ordered their 12 pack double-crusted pies (6 flavors) from Goldbelly and had it shipped to Florida. They came packed with dry ice and were frozen when I opened it. Really pleased with the quality of their pies and flavor!! They do not skimp and the ratio of filling to pie crust is on point. My favorites are the chicken-based ones and the spinach and feta. Sooo good!! Each pie is about 5" x 3" and about 1" thick. Perfect for an individual pie serving. It takes about 40 minutes to bake and works best with an eggwash, but really worth it! I can't wait to visit this restaurant in person. They know what they are doing and know how to ship out their specialty for all to consume!!

What did you eat today? The upside of newly working at home is delivery service from so many more shops and restaurants. As you make your meal prep for the week. add any number of their crust pies to your routine. So good. Lots of choices. And not just for dinner. There are breakfast options as well. I love their kale salad, country chicken hand pie, southern breakfast hand pie. Happy to see they now ship nationwide.

These pies are sooo delicious. They may look small, but they are packed with so much flavor inside. I ordered the black pepper steak pie and it was soo flavorful. The steak was very tender. The crust of the pie was very buttery and flakey. I would definitely order from here again!

After making a loop around the busy market and seeing the highly rated arepa stall, I decided on coming to Panbury's for a small pie first. I could just walk a few seconds and get an arepa later. Ordered the beef and brandy pie. Omfg. Incredible. Top tier pie. No, just top tier food. So good that I cancelled my plans to have an arepa afterward, and opted for another pie. Do yourself a favor and try one of these pies. You're not going to regret it. Easily one of the best foods I've tasted. I like the beef and brandy more than the country chicken, but the country chicken pie is a strong contender in its own right. Tip: eat it with your hands like a large pizza slice, so you get to taste all of the flavors together. I wish there was one near me. My goodness.

Spinach and feta and cottage pie with tender beef and mashed potatoes!

Update - Ordered the Steak and Stout pies most recently and just as I expected, they were uniquely scrumptious. Similar to the cottage pies, but instead of mashed potatoes the delicious and perfectly seasoned tender beef is encased with their legendary crust. This is comfort food at its finest.

Yum! Ordered 6 pies(Steak and Stout, Country Chicken, and Spinach and Feta- 2 each) on GoldBelly in April of 2021. The pies showed up in dry ice and still frozen. They take approximately 40 minutes in the oven but come out flaky and delicious. We shared 3 at a time along with salad for our meals. Shelf life is 6 months in the freezer. We liked it so much that we just ordered 18 more pies today!

Walked by because I was in Sweet Auburn Market just checking out the scene, I was looking for something to eat and the double crusted pies looked different. So I decided to get a chicken sausage roll, it was very good. The bread was super fresh and soft. I also got a kale salad and a lemonade/iced tea mix. The lemonade was super tart but I loved the mix together. Would definitely get some more when I come back.

Mmm... hand pie... nom nom nom.

Every once in a while, I'll have a layover in Atlanta during my travels... and when that layover is timed well (meaning a couple hours long and in the morning or early afternoon), I'll head to the Sweet Auburn Curb Market and get my fix of deliciousness from Panbury's. These hand pies are a traditional British street food with South African influence. This is actually the kind of food I wish I had been able to find when in South Africa a couple years ago, so I was delighted to find it randomly while traveling. (With many thanks to Yelp, since I found this location while checking out options on the app.) Whenever I arrive at Panbury's, I like to see if there are any special or seasonal offerings first... but the steak & stout and chicken & mushroom hand pies are without a doubt my go-to choices if there's not something new that strikes my fancy. The crusts for these pies is always buttery and flaky, and I highly recommend holding these pies in your hands to eat them. I've never been disappointed with these hand pies... and the additional menu items like the kale salad or sausage rolls? Always great at appeasing a craving. Now... I was looking through emails recently and came across flight details for the trip I was taking at the end of this April through the end of May. The trip would have included a stop in Atlanta on the way back home... and I'm sure I would have taken a jaunt from the airport to head to Curb Market for my stop at Panbury's. As you can imagine, COVID-19 meant canceling my travel plans entirely. The fantastic news? I can still get my Panbury's fix! Panbury's offers shipping of their pies, sausage rolls, and apple mini pies from their online shop, here: https://www.panburys.com/shop.html. For folks who use Goldbelly, Panbury's is available via that site as well. COVID-19 be damned, I'm considering this a win... haha. Delighted to say that I have a custom hand pie assortment of 12 pies coming my way for Friday delivery (and sent a custom assortment to my BFF out in Seattle as well!). Many thanks, Panbury's peeps! TL;DR Buttery, flaky, hand pie goodness that I would recommend anybody and everybody check out - even if you're just in Atlanta for a layover of a couple hours and trying to kill some time, it's well worth a trip. I try to stop as much as possible when flying through Atlanta... and I'm delighted to have discovered that they ship their hand pies as well!

I really could sum this review up in 2 words.. soooo good. I tried the country chicken pie and it was great it reminds me of my homemade chicken pot pie. I enjoyed the flaky crust and the filling was seasoned well with a nice gravy. There were so many great options, I just stared at the menu trying to decide on just one. I can't wait to try more! Panbury's is located inside Municipal Market. You walk up and order at the counter and take your food to go. I do not believe there are any areas to sit down at eat at this time. There were just a few outdoor areas but that was it which is fine. You are required to wear a mask to enter and hand sanitizer is provided throughout. The staff were bubbly and helpful. Great food, great service!

This was our first day trying it, and after lunch, we knew we had to return. The food is incredibly flavorful, truly unlike anything we've had before. For lunch, we shared the Rainbow Bowl, and for dinner we came back for wings (half BBQ, half mango lime marinade--SO good), a chicken Caesar salad wrap, Brussels sprouts, and their chips (fries). Everything was delicious, fresh, and generously portioned. The drinks were also a highlight--both the non-alcoholic and alcoholic options were refreshing and well-crafted. But what really made the experience special was the service. Kiran was such a sweetheart--kind, attentive, and just a joy to interact with. And another team member (possibly a manager) went above and beyond when they were out of shredded chicken. He had the kitchen substitute thigh meat for the Caesar wrap, and it turned out amazing. That level of care really stood out. All in all, this is a 10/10 experience (even if it's technically 5 stars!). We loved everything about it and are already planning our next visit--plus grabbing extra to-go for tomorrow. Bravo, Nando's! We'll definitely be back P.S. The app sux. It kept freezing. We want to talk to the people. Bring full service back. Said with love.

I've eaten here twice now and three stars because it was downhill from my first experience!…read moreThe first time I ate at The Cape Restaurant was December for a work dinner. The ambience was so nice and the food was fantastic! My group got a few appetizers to try- all were tasty and so were the drinks. I noticed it was a different menu than the most recent time I went. The first time, I got the braised short rib and was very pleasantly surprised with the portion, flavor, and tenderness of the meat! Our server was great as well and helped us enjoy a fantastic evening. This past Sunday I went again with a small group of people around 4. There was only one other group eating in the restaurant at the time but they left shortly after we got there, leaving us the only ones in the space. Our server may have been new and not well trained- he didn't write down our three orders, which could have been fine but he had to come back and ask us what we ordered before he put it in. We got the smash burger, fish sandwich and chicken piccata. The burger looked nice, two patties and plenty of toppings, but my fish sandwich was absolutely lacking. At first, it looked great, but the more I ate the more I realized there was hardly any fish in there. To me, the fish seemed about 1 cm thick with a huge coating of breading sandwiched between a bun on either side... the coleslaw needed to be sharper, and the tartar sauce added to the heaviness of the meal, not the elevation of it. I felt I needed another meal after I finished. The chicken piccata was decent but was heavy on the lemon, to the point it wasn't enjoyable to finish. I probably won't be back because of the disappointing meal I had.

That's usually a pretty good sign. I've only had Ethiopian food at two other restaurants around the Metro Atlanta area, and honestly, neither one was particularly memorable. This place is a completely different story. Every time we visit, the experience is consistent, no matter how busy they are. The decor is inviting, the service is always friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is consistently clean and well-maintained. My wife and I usually share the Tibs Platter with ribeye, lamb, and filet. The meat is always incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. We also order the Miser (spicy lentils), Atir (split peas), and plenty of injera. The combination of flavors and textures is amazing, and every bite complements the next. One of the things I appreciate most is how approachable they make Ethiopian cuisine for first-time visitors. If you've never had Ethiopian food before, this is a great place to start. The staff is helpful, the food is flavorful without being overwhelming, and the experience is unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant. If you're ever in the Atlanta area and want to try Ethiopian food, this place will not disappoint. Even if you're a little hesitant about eating with your hands, don't let that stop you. After a few bites, you'll understand why so many people keep coming back.

Piri-piri chicken, garlic bread, and zero self-control. Nando's is already one of our go-to spots, so it didn't take much convincing. The vibe hits that perfect sweet spot between casual and "we're pretending this is a planned night out." And the food? Consistently elite. My husband went with his usual: the 2 1/4 legs, hot. A bold man with a questionable spice tolerance, but I respect the commitment. I ordered the chicken thigh skewers, medium, because I like to feel something without seeing my life flash before my eyes. Now let's talk about the real star of the show: the garlic bread. I don't know what they put in it, but I would trust it with my financial decisions. It's that good. He also got the fries (which, okay... a little skimpy this time, Nando's, we noticed ), and I switched things up with the corn on the cob, which absolutely held its own. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we needed even though we didn't know we needed it. We met up with my sister and her kids, who ordered after us, but honestly the best part of the night was just hanging out, talking, and letting the table slowly turn into a graveyard of sauce-covered plates and crumbs. Final verdict: Came for matcha. Left with full stomachs, zero regrets, and a renewed emotional attachment to garlic bread. Would accidentally end up here again 10/10.
