Today I switched things up and I got the Benedict and Nutella crepes and they were demolished within minutes! Went here with my friend when I was craving breakfast for dinner. Despite the evening hour, there were very few patrons, which made for a peaceful dining experience. The service was impressively quick and attentive, and our food arrived promptly. We were in and out within half an hour or so. I can confirm that the restaurant's non-pancake meals are still a great choice. The dishes were absolutely delicious. I enjoyed my eggs, pancakes and bacon, and my friend had a half sandwich and soup. Our server struck the perfect balance, being attentive without hovering, and seemed to anticipate our needs effortlessly. If I could give No stars I would definitely do so!!! Not so great of a Mother's Day experience for us. I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast, along with a bunch of other items. First off, my order took only 5 minutes to complete with a total of 7 complete meals. We were seated immediately by Melanie. Carlos, our server, stopped by to take our drink order and returned shortly to deliver our coffee & Diet Coke and to take our breakfast order. Now if you you've never tried it, it's a massive dish with Ground sirloin, fresh chopped spinach, green peppers, onions and tomatoes wrapped in a 6 egg white (with yolks upon request) omelette and topped with sliced avocado. We have only been here for breakfast and their breakfast is very reasonable. Their services is good. Ambience is a normal restaurant.

Our waitress Elizabeth was excellent, friendly, and accommodating to where we wanted to sit!! She alone deserves 5 stars! The food was below average, however, and neither of us finished our meals nor took them home. The reason for the one star review is the manager-he berated our waitress right in front of us for where she had seated people and told her that she "always makes terrible business decisions." He continued to criticize his staff right in front of us and walk around counting, muttering, and staring at the patrons. All staff looked pretty miserable. I will not support an establishment that is unkind to hardworking people. Treat others the way you would want to be treated. read more

When you love a place, even though they moved, your nose will find them. This placed recently moved from the old location to a stones throw down the street in Costa Mesa. The owner is always there to greet you, stays out and surveys the crowd, helps when needed. He loved being an awesome restaurant owner. Now, the food, comes out in the right time, piping hot, and loaded with deliciousness! This time I had the quick breakfast with bacon and (my kryptonite) biscuits and gravy.. Worst pancakes of my life. The batter seems like dry cake batter. When you take a bite it becomes very gummy in your mouth. I ended up just eating the top layer, more fried part. I went for a breakfast, but it ended up filling me up till past lunch. They offer a very classic diner style menu. I ordered their Scramble and pancake combo. Everything tasted the way it should. The hushbrown tasted more buttery than usual hushbrown. The pancake was fluffy. The scramble egg was fluffy. If you like typical American diner style, this is a slight elevated IHOP. You know I love this place. Everybody is incredibly friendly, great food, but I have to say I don't know why the owner looks like he's always pissed off. He's never friendly to me. It's the weirdest thing. Maybe he's having a bad day. I don't know. Maybe he doesn't like the way I look. I went here a few times when they were across the street. We didn't realize until later that it was the same restaurant just in a new location. Hadn't been in a while because the last time I was here they messed up my husband's food. Well they redeemed themselves because he was very happy with his food. Food comes out hot and quick. BIG plus. Warning though, if the waiter asks one person in your party if they are done and can they clear their plates and they say yes, the waiter takes it that they can clear ALL the plates on the table even if the others aren't done. If I could give zero stars i would , i have been holding back on writing this review because my head still can't wrap around what happened. But i need to share this for families who wish to go and have special needs children. I have a 11 year old non verbal autistic son and we decided to go in and have breakfast i want to say a few weeks ago. And our son expresses emotions with vocal outbursts which to those who are educated on autism may know . He was happy and excited to eat his pancakes, but we were approached by who we thought was the owner and asked us to make him quiet to not scare or make the other costumers feel uncomfortable. We were in complete shock sense this has never happened. We take our son to other restaurants and have never been treated this way ! Needless to say we payed and left and have never returned! Note to management or owners please educate yourself on disabilities and know that ad a business you will have families with children. read more

The best way to put it, is that it is an upscale pancake house that is reasonably priced. The owner of the place has been operating this place for years with much consistency. This is the first time I have been here since they moved locations on 17th street. Fast, friendly service and quality food makes this place a great spot to eat breakfast after that night out. This is NOT PET friendly! Owner Abdullah came up to our table once another supposedly service dog passed by and bark at my dog. Asking if my dog was a service dog? The reason he had to ask due to his customers which makes no sense. We gave this place a first try because it stated pet friendly apparently it's not pet friendly if is not a service dog which i advice the owner he should indicate that Google which his reply was he doesn't need too. This place is Amazing. Try the new location here. The food is super fresh and Danny out server was quick and very knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients as well. It's identical to iHop but more choices. The owner was walking around the tables making sure everything was good. I would love to be back soon send try other items on the menu. We went there for breakfast after a disappointing experience at another place close by and we had 100% the opposite experience here. This is diner food, good tasting, great price, fast service. I had the chicken fried steak and gravy and seriously this was the best gravy I have had in almost 10 years of different restaurants. We were so impressed by the food and the prices we came back the next day. I got the biscuits and gravy and because they give you so much food we split the dishes between my wife and I.
