Seriously, probably some of the best pizza I've ever had in my life. Was not expecting to say that in Kaua'i I tried to order online multiple times, but the website said they weren't accepting online orders. I tried to call, but never got an answer. So I went down here one evening around 6:30pm and as I was preparing to order, was informed they were SOLD OUT! Wow! So a couple days later, we went back down there earlier and were able to order a half Hawaiian and half sausage only large pizza. My daughter got a Dr Pepper and I got an Aloha Pineapple Orange juice while we waited for our order. There's minimal parking in front and there's street parking as well. The place is cute with a decent amount of seating inside. The pizza was New York style, super thin crust! So flavorful and delicious! We also got a couple sides of ranch and their ranch is fantastic! Would definitely recommend giving this place a try! read more

We found this place as we were looking for dinner and decided to go with pizza. Sure glad we did we because we found this awesome place. We ordered a large pepp pizza and a garden salad and it was amazing. There were two options for the pizza, New York or Detroit style and we went with NY. It was so good! It was thin and had a nice crisp to it. The salad was super fresh and the ranch was yummy. Aside from the food, which was amazing, the service was great. The guy at the front was super friendly and was nice to talk to while we waited for our pizza. I think his name was Josh or John? Anyways, he was a cool guy! The place itself was very clean and had plenty of seating. Highly recommend giving them a try! read more

We had a hankering for pizza, and stumbled upon this place in Kapa'a Town. It's in a rather non-descript building, with a very small amount of seating inside, near the bulk of the downtown shops. The pizza was surprisingly good. Good enough, in fact, we're likely to be back the next time we come to town. My girlfriend is vegetarian, and asked if we could have the Hawaiian, but substitute mushrooms and jalapeno for the ham (with plenty of pineapple, of course). The server happily accommodated. It's a "New York" kine pizza, thin crust but ample cheese. It was really good! We noticed other folks that day getting their Detroit deep dish, which also looked good. We may try that the next time we're by. Note: they do sell pizza by the slice. For the thin crust, there are only two options: pepperoni and cheese. For the Detroit slices, they'll make them to order, so there are more options. Also note: there is very limited parking out front, but more up and down the street. read more

Everything was delicious! We tried the New York-style pizzas--thin crust, generous portions. They sprinkle grated Parmesan on top, which I loved, but picky eaters like my kids might not (it brushes off pretty easily though). The cheesy garlic bread was amazing--loaded with flavor thanks to a garlicky sauce, and it's the size of a full pizza! Ranch was tasty as well. Online ordering was smooth, and our food was ready right on time, maybe even a little early. It comes well done, which our crew all likes, but if you are wanting less crispy toppings, you may want to request it be less well done when you order. The first time we drove by, the name made us chuckle...(Poncho's Pizza is sorta like Guido's Tacos, right?). But one evening we were in the mood for pizza so we came to Poncho's. Wow, did we enjoy our pie! I've never had jalapeños slices on a pizza before, but I'm a huge fan now. I think our pizza was New York style thin crust called the Waimea. Anyways, the sit-down area is not the best Hawaii offers, so we drove our boxed pie directly across the street then turned left and parked 20 feet from the ocean. What a fine meal that turned out to be. And by the way, the other half of our pie became breakfast pizza and once again, it was outstanding (our test for quality pizza ingredients is how does it taste the next morning).
