I called to see if I needed to make a reservation and I got on the phone with this guy I couldn't even understand him. Then I go and tell him I have 3 adults and 4 kids then he goes and blabs, idk even know what he said, then he goes and closes the phone on my face. I call him again I go how come you closed he said idk what happen than I went and asked him about the reservation he goes and closes in my face. Then I go and call him again I said why do you keep closing in my face I'm trying to make a reservation he then tell shut the f**k up you don't make a f**ken reservation then he literally closed. Came on a non busy day at about 7 in the afternoon, our host was rude about our seating arrangements stating that we had to wait for a table to be cleaned (restaurant is empty) because they're not cleaning again then proceed to sit us and then sit the next couple exactly where I had just asked to be seated. After this we were not satisfied with the freezer burned sushi or the rock solid crab Rangoon especially since they were the only things being served in the BUFFET aside from 2-3 crab legs and 90% empty everything else. After our first sampler plate of food we were handed our check but thought nothing of it until the staff continued to harass us about when we were leaving and then continued in their unfriendly mannerisms until we were finally fed up and left. Also it was $35 for us to have 2 plates of crap food. Won't be back this is our THIRD unsatisfactory experience here. read more

A wide selection of buffet favorites & ice creams for dessert. The lunch price is about $7/person & dinner price is about $13/person. Dinner items tend to have more "expensive" selections like crab legs, clams, crawfish, variety of shrimp, fish, & steak. I prefer coming in for an enjoyable lunch option & low price! Most of the food I tried was terrible. The lo mein was mushy, very overcooked and not enough flavor. The fried rice was dry, also no flavor. The chicken in the chicken and brocolli dish was very bland. The only food I did like was the steamed dumplings. The waitress was not pleasant. We had a very good experience. The food value was excellent. Most everything we ate was cooked properly and tasty. For a buffet it was excellent. Many restaurants skimp on crab legs and this was not the case here. The soups were very good and the soup bowls with handles is a very nice touch. Little necks and steamed clams were especially nice too. Pork roast was very tasty and flavorful. I cannot say enough about the service and atmosphere. We used to go here and enjoy everything, but the last 2 times we went, it seems as if they stopped trying. The food was luke warm at best and the selections have become 90% seafood and less kid friendly. Don't get me wrong, we like seafood, just prefer some other choices. My friend and I eat here once a month- it's kind of a tradition. We usually go at lunch time, but yesterday we went at dinner time. Sadly, the food was only OK. The "chicken on a stick" was rubbery and cold, etc. The service has declined terribly. My credit card info was stolen from this place and I received 5 fraudulent charges on my card after our visit (I had my bank dig into where the charges had been sent from, and you guessed it...) So lesson learned, use only cash and go at lunch when the food is fresher. read more

As far as Chinese buffets go this one is pretty good. I like being able to get a lot of different things and try them out without having to get a lot of one thing. They have four steamer tables full of food. Price is reasonable for an all you can eat and they keep the buffet pretty well stocked. Service is nothing exceptional but then again it's a buffet all you need wait staff to do is take the dirty plate away and keep the drinks filled which they do well enough. Keep in mind that the buffet is all they do here, there are no menus and they can also accommodate large groups quite easily. read more

This restaurant was absolutely terrible. The food tasted very strange, and it was not appetizing at all. Upon asking for the check I was charged for two meals, even though I was the only one that actually made a plate while my girlfriend was just there with me. The food was so terrible I only ate two egg rolls and they were trying to charge me for 2 meals. The waitress was very rude and talked with a tone and tried to tell me the miscommunication was my fault. After finally getting one of the meal charges taken off the bill, I quickly signed the check and left the restaurant promptly. Needless to say, she received a deserving 0 dollar tip. read more

Pricey? Hardly. $7.95 for all you can eat lunch is pretty darn cheap. The dinner price as well is comparable to other Chinese buffets in the area. It's also one of the better Chinese buffets, in my opinion, as the selection is slightly larger. I appreciate the many vegetable options and fruit for dessert. Occasionally, things are a bit on the burned side, or the waitress is less than pleasant, which is why I marked this down a star, or else it would have been five. I just returned from Panda Buffett and the best advice I can give you is to not make the same mistake. My usual spot is Infinity Buffett in Norwich which is excellent but I was starving and right near Panda and you know the rest. First, the people who run it are very rude and all people who run Chinese restaurants are rude so they had to be exceptionally rude for me to even mention it. But, I really don't care about rude as long as the food is good which it is not. It looks good, clean, fresh all of that but it does not taste good and that is the whole point. I took my food in one of those take out styrofoam containers and ended up throwing most of it out. The only way that this place could be staying open is because they are they only game in town. Panda buffet was always our first choice in chinese because of the size of our family! But I have noticed a real change in their pricing lately. It doesn't matter what holiday, you can count on a large mark-up in their prices. We also came on a Tuesday to find out they increase their price because they serve lobster...that no one in our family will eat but me. We were told, we still pay the increase. I ate the lobster and found it WAY overcooked with NO meat whatsoever. This past Labor Day we wanted to treat our family so we headed to Panda for lunch... of course to find out it was dinner pricing all day. We walked out! I called Fusion Buffet in Waterford and was relieved to find their consistent $6.95 had not changed! I guess we will find ourselves at Fusion from now on! read more

Do not sit in the side room, it is disgusting, the tables are all wobbly, the floors are sticky, the high chairs I habe to clean before using and almost all are broken, the booths are torn. The main room isnt as bad and the food is ok. You cant beat the price for an all you can eat place. The food is constantly being stocked and counters cleaned. The staff is fairly attentive and the bathrooms need to be fixed. read more

I downloaded Yelp app specifically to comment on how dissatisfied I am with this restaurant. If I could give it less than one star I would. The staff was extremely unpleasant. The waitress never came back to offer refill on drinks. The bathroom was filthy. My family went in a large group of 12 total as a family outing. We were given a very RUSHED and hovering feel the entire time we were there as if we were not welcome. The waitress would walk around the table pacing back and forth with dirty looks whilst making comments across the way to another worker just staring at us and the check was given to us before we had even finished our meal. I've never experienced anything like this in any restaurant. Once we let the children finish eating, we paid our bill and left a decent tip(regardless the effortless service). I came home to notice I had been charged $9.00 over the authorized amount on the receipt. I was beyond UNHAPPY with the service so imagine my frustration and anger when I realized the overcharge. We paid over $120 on a buffet that was not even worth half this price. I will NEVER bring my family or business back! Don't waste your money or time. So unhappy with my experience there and I would never recommend this place to anyone because of this. read more

don't even want to leave one star....it is something I suspected,but now I've seen it with my own eyes....we left a barbeque rib on the plate...the waitress took away our plate and walked away like she was going to throw our uneaten food in the garbage...nope, she slyly glanced around and flung it back on the buffet table for the next person to eat...last year I asked if they really threw the food away...the manager said yes...he was literally shaking because he knew I was scrutinizing watching him clear plates.. he was shaking ever time he 'had' to throw food in the garbage...so now I know..NEVER AGAIN!...it's disgusting food gets thrown away in the first place....they really should let you take a doggy bag...but that's an extra $14.00....no great loss though...the food was repulsive last time we went...like I said NEVER AGAIN. read more
