Went in at around 1:30 on a Sunday, as that's what my daughter requested for her birthday lunch. Walked in to a busier restaurant. That's where the positives stopped. The chow main noodles were lukewarm, the sesame chicken, which was an upcharge, wasn't very hot. There were zero tables clean, and when my wife asked for a rag, the cashier rudely said "there's a bucket by the drinks." When we looked in said sanitizer bucket, there was nothing. At all. Out of coke, cherry coke and no tea to be found. Sticky floors. Overcooked egg rolls. If there was anything to say positive, the manager on duty was working her tail off to get things squared away. As a former manager of a food establishment, I get it. Rushes happen. But what I experienced today was so far beyond that. Definite culture of status quo in that restaurant. Yesterday evening my husband and I went to Panda in Branson. There was a couple groups of teenage boys there one group was a head of us and another came in when we sat down. Both group of boys got heaping amounts of food. I'm not talking about an extra scoop of rice or noodles I'm talking about 3 or 4 extra scoops of everything. The people ahead of them got normal portions we got normal portions. Why did the boys get so much food and everyone else got normal portions? The girl serving was young so I'm guessing she was trying to impress them? The total wasn't any higher. read more

This place doesn't even deserve a one star, never coming back again. I ordered the large plate of OC and ChowMein and Destiny barely gave me any chicken, just the fried bread pieces from the bottom of the bowl. I was like okay one bad experience, whatever.... My girlfriend and I came back a 2nd time and I ordered the biggest plate thinking I'd get more, same thing, Destiny barely gave me any chicken and chow mein and my girlfriend only had 3 pieces of beef in her beef and b. Terrible service. You'd think getting the biggest plate you would get more food and leave full but it was barely an appetizer, I left still hungry and unsatisfied. Worst food and staff ever. The food was not edible and the sales manager cussed me out and the general manager Curtis called me a thief because I wouldn't take something else off their menu and I asked for a refund for the disgusting food I received. Save your money and go somewhere else, literally ANYWHERE else but here. The cream cheese rangoons were over cooked and the cream cheese was so dry it was almost chalky. I travel a lot and visit Panda often all over MO, AR and more. Disappointing to have my "home" location when I can sit down in the lobby with my family only to have the lobby closed. I understood during the pandemic but since then it remains closed and very frustrating to do take out to have cold food by the time I get home. With so many places in Branson to eat in our family oriented town, I would like to see this location be more customer friendly. It's been 3 years....time to open up! read more

Longest wait in a drive through I've ever had (also the way their drive through is set up once in you have two choices wait or jump a curb...for safety reasons I suggest wait) and it's happened many times. Major fail for a takeout joint. My daughters are competing in a dance competition this weekend. Small windows of time that they can eat. I picked up their (and my) lunch in the drive through. Three bowls, a side of greens, egg roll, rangoons. Get it back to the venue. No napkins. No plastic ware. No sauces. No fortune cookies! Seriously, this is not finger food. Never eat here the food gave me food poisoning the food looked good at first and the people serving were nice but when I got back to my apartment and finished my food my stomach started hurting. Sat in drive through for 15 minutes at least eight cars behind the drive-through ordering station. Never moved. Sesame chicken and beef and broccoli tasted as if they sat in a crockpot past the point of disintegration. It all had a similar after taste and was like old mush. The fried rice was okay, but cooked in old oil. The cheese rangoons had been sitting in their own oil to the point that the pastry was rubbery. And finally we had eggrolls which were not fresh and tasted like old mush on the inside and a rubbery wrap fried in old oil. I usually don't like to complain, however, this Branson, MO location has been nothing but problematic for me. Every time I go here, something happens. This location has problems getting food out and ready. Without fail, any time of day. I ordered food 03/23/2019 I walked in and ordered 3 3-item plates: Double Kung Pao w/ White Rice & Fried Rice w/ Spring Rolls Double Kung Pao w/ Double White Rice w/ Spring Rolls Teriyaki Chicken & Orange Chicken w/ Chow Mien & White Rice w/ Ragoons. ..and now I look at the receipt to write this review, I was even charged extra for spring rolls, as the spring rolls were supposed to be the third side for the bigger plate, that has kung pao instead listed as the third side. Anyways, I walk in around 8:20PM and order food.. they explain the kung pao will take 12-15 minutes. I say okay, I don't mind waiting, so we'll wait. Wait until 9PM after putting our order in at 8:23PM. One of our entrees was teriyaki chicken, and when I ask for the sauce on our way out, the cashier explains it's going to take another 12 minutes for them to heat up the sauce. I asked why there was no sauce made when I ordered the teriyaki chicken, and she tells me she didn't know I wanted teriyaki sauce on my teriyaki chicken. Seriously? This is so annoying. I don't mind waiting a little longer for food, but this location is constantly disappointing. I really enjoy Panda, but this location is lackluster. read more

Yet another example of crummy food in Branson. We were hopeful since Panda Express is a chain, but the food was so very disappointing...chow mein was dry, chewy and undercooked, the teriyaki chicken was downright burned, and they said the orange chicken would be fine for my kids but it was too spicy even for me! The bathroom was a mess and out of toilet paper, the trash cans throughout the restaurant were overflowing and there was sticky sauce spills in so many places on the floor inside and out on the patio. The last three times I've gone through the drive thru they have directed me to park in a parking spot where I have waited 15-25 minutes for my food. I have never ordered more than three items and have not ever gone when the location is busy, yet it still takes almost half an hour to get my order from a drive thru. I ordered through drive thru via Casandra S. She was very helpful and efficient and was able to read my mind. I ordered white rice but found veggies in my order with my string bean & chicken entre and actually was quite thrilled. After I had ordered white rice I was kicking myself for not choosing veggies! I felt better eating a healthier late dinner than I had planned. She is a great mindreader! Also, the drive thru was my first time ordering food at this Panda Express. I was 3rd in 4 car line up. I felt the line moved quickly and there wasn't a need to park for delivery to my car which tells me they are prepared for later dinner order rush typical during the traditional 5-6pm time slot. Decided to try it a second time to give it another chance. The food is decent, hence the 2 stars versus 1. Don't be fooled by the menu pictures of the dishes though. Expect 2 small pieces of meat in any meat dish and the rest will be noodles or broccoli etc. What a ripoff. read more

My daughter and I enjoy having lunch together at PE. That being said, the drive thru was apparently out of order. Instead of having a sign at the beginning, you have to drive through another business parking lot and around the building. The sign had blown down but luckily I saw it laying there. Then we went in. They were out of sweet and sour sauce. Do you really make this homemade? Definitely could be a bit cleaner. The rest of the food appeared fresh and tasty. Wish PE had soup! We will definitely come again but this location needs to get it together. Went here again this week and it was much worse. Filthy. Asked for napkins and they were too busy to give me any. Customer service was terrible the guy who did our orders stood there for 2 or 3 minutes talking to the other associates, not only that he did the same to the guy behind me. Everyone except for the cook in the back was very lazy taking their time doing their job and three bowls were empty of food. The food was dry and you can tell they weren't attending to it in a timely manner. I don't even work food service and I could see this as an apparent problem I can only imagine what somebody who does work in that business would be thinking??? Worst experience we've ever had! Had a long car ride and was so excited to visit one of our favorite restaurants... none of the food items were available and the napkins were completely out. The Employees WERE RUDE to us... no sauces... our table was disgustingly dirty! There was a huge line of people and everyone was disappointed. Well, it happened again. I had a bad experience there last week but decided to give them another chance because I had like the food in the past. Arrived about 11 AM for lunch ordered orange chicken and another entrée. The food was soggy and you could tell that it was left over from the night before. When I confronted A woman who called her self the manager and ask for my money back she told me that she could not do that it would have to come from corporate. First of all these front end girls need a course on etiquette and politeness and learn how to smile, They also need to learn the customer is always right even though they aren't. I love Panda Express but just NOT this one. I will never return due to rudeness # 1 and # 2 because the food was NOT fresh and the asparagus couldn't even be bitten in to, The chow mein was old tasting and not even hot. The size of the portion was ridiculous. I asked her this is an entree? OMG there were 4 pieces of broccoli, Ok I'm done with writing this review and done with Rosa as well. She needs training or firing. Elizabeth was NOT friendly as well but when she heard me ask for Rosa's name she sure was able to smile big then. She got a little concerned that we were not happy.
