Absolute worst panda in the world! All the employees are stupid, lazy, careless High School kids who don't give a shit and all have major attitude problems. How does the owner allow such idiots to work for them? EVERY TIME I come here there is a problem! Fist and foremost they are ALWAYS out of almost everything and never both to replenish it until someone asks, always prompting you to wait an extra 10-15 mins while they cook it. Today, I was waiting for all my entrees and rice! When the rice was done, the moron filled the entire rice/chow mein tray with rice even though I ordered half and half. He then filled one of the entree slots full of chow mein! Because he filed the entree slot with chow mein, he couldn't fit much of the actual entree so I only got two small pieces of meat! What is up with blocking one of only 2 entrances/ exits to the restaurant. The door closest to the checkout was blocked on the inside by 2 high chairs and blocked outside by 2 patio chairs. This has got to be the worst Panda Express I have ever been to. We came in on a Sunday evening about 6 pm, dinner time. There was not much of a line and many help wanted signs. More than half the food choices were empty. There was no one cooking and the young man who looked like he should be cooking was casually sweeping. I asked the girl why no one was cooking and she couldn't give a good answer or seemed to care. It was like the staff figured out that if there was no food, they wouldn't have to work as hard. I guess the local population figured out how the bad this particular restaurant is and does not come here. Others who came to the restaurant after us left disappointed without ordering food. This place definitely needs multiple visits by the Panda Express secret shopper and owners. We went to a PF Changs in Fresno and had a much better experience. It was way worth the extra money. I work in the area and have eaten here about once a week for the last year. The staff is always friendly and quick, but the one thing that always gets me is how often they are out of food & have a long wait, especially around lunchtime. I'm not sure if it's poor planning or being understaffed, but one would think that there would be a system in place for getting food replenished quickly during peak hours. It happens just about every time I'm there for lunch and I will usually change what I get based off of what they have available so I get in and out. Not ideal. Today they had 3 guys cooking at once, which is awesome! Usually there's only one person cooking that you can see and one person on the line, which from working in restaurants my whole life is NOT enough for a busy lunch rush. You may suspect that the staff would be kind and open to all, but they made me and my family feel like we should have found a different food place. They also didn't have white or brown rice stating that it would take 2 hours to make (rice takes 30 minutes maximum to make even in great quantities). I have eaten at this Panda Express location multiple times and it has been pretty good, but this visit was not very good at all. I got there at 11:30 am so I guess it was early for them, but I didn't think so. When I was at the counter and getting ready to order, they were out of two of the entree items I wanted to get, string bean chicken and mushroom chicken. I always get just chow mein, but the chow mein looked like it was left over from the previous day and so did the orange chicken that I got along with broccoli and beef. The food just tasted like it was not recently cooked. I have thought that Panda Express, in general, has been taking shortcuts on their orange chicken as it seems there is less chicken and more coating. I bit into four pieces of orange chicken and only one had any meat in it (see picture). I've have to say I'm pretty disappointed with the Panda Express food at this location and will be paying close attention at the quality at other cities. This location was on par with the many other Panda Express restaurants I've eaten at. True, it is smaller, there was only one server (Alexis, and she is fantastic, as others have reported) and one cook. Some of the entree trays were empty, but as soon as I asked, Alexis said-with a smile- 'We can make that for you in about 5 minutes!' So my meal-including rice and chow mein- was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately the reviews here are correct. Came in at 9:00. They close at 9:30. They had nothing but old rice. Old chow mein. Orange chicken and something that was old and had mushrooms. The girl working was annoyed I came in. I asked her why everything was cleaned off and nothing was on the steam table and she replied "crazy rush" hmmm right. Got the orange chicken and just said to myself "whatever". Corporate would be so pissed if they saw their store being cleaned up 30 minutes prior to closing. Not to mention the attitude. I think what topped it off for me was during check out The worker asked me would I like any appetizers, I had to laugh, as I looked down out of the six warmer trays, five of them were empty, one of them had one egg roll. Consistently poor. I go once a month for the family. Always out of at least item and have to wait long time for them to cook. Usually go 5 - 6pm, dinner time. But they box up the rest of my orders so they get cold :( If I have them wait to box everything, they will be out of something else. :( Several months ago I paid with cash, but they could not give me change. They wanted me to use credit card, I did not have one with me. They got to keep my $3 + change :( Tonight I had coupon, told girl when ordering. When got to cashier had it on counter ( but I did not tell her ) she did not see it so could not use, partly my fault. They were totally out of Bejing beef. Kids meal came with very cheap bottled water, and no cookie. Also no chop sticks or soy sauce with order. Chowmain chewy, and fried rice very bland. Never any management.
