Chow mein & super greens

There was something black and small that could have been an eyelash or eyebrow hair in my bowl. That was off putting but it happens. The food was good. I fed 3 people for $30 bucks. I like that they have a rewards program.

Server and cook
Robert S.

I visit this Panda Express every two days because it's the only local fast food place that consistently served fresh food, and they offered brown rice, which was a major plus. When I came in today to order my usual, I was disappointed to learn that they no longer serve brown rice. Despite the letdown, I decided to stay since I was hungry. I noticed there wasn't much Beijing Beef on display, and what was there didn't look appetizing. I asked the server helping me if more was being prepared, and she confirmed that it can be, though it would be a wait. Fresh food is worth waiting for, so I didn't mind. However, just 30 seconds into my wait, an order was placed on the bar to be added to the service line. As the server turned to pick it up, she accidentally knocked the tray to the floor, along with everything around it. Both the cook and the server were visibly shocked. The server promptly grabbed a broom and mop to clean up the mess. While sweeping, she picked up the dishes and took them to the back, all except for a measuring cup, which she left near the station where ingredients to each dish is kept. Concerned, I discreetly took a picture of the measuring cup to remind her not to forget it, as a few more guests had walked in. To my dismay, the cook then picked up that same measuring cup and began using it to prepare the ingredients for the Beijing Beef. He paused, seemingly remembering that it had fallen on the floor, and looked up at me, then quickly looked away. At that point, I left the store and will not be returning. What started as a simple mistake left me questioning everything about the cleanliness and food safety at this location.

rangoons NO SAUCE!!! what a nightmare!!!!

I just ordered the cream cheese rangoons and they forgot the sweet and sour sauce rendering the whole point of cream cheese rangoons MOOT. What now? i cant go back it's too late- they'll be ice cubes by the time i get back! WHERES MY SAUCE!

Build Your Own Plate - 1 Full Side

Ive gotten the rice 2 times now burnt. Very nasty and wasteful. I always get the same thing, double orange and half rice and half noodle. Recently they've been burning the rice so I can't enjoy one of my fav entrees.

Rip off 7 bucks small shrimps not even filed WTF? 8/4/19

ZERO STARS! August 04. 2019 Well being it's my birthday it was ruined by the nasty food we got here! We always stop here and I have gotten the walnut shrimp many times here. So today I ordered my walnut shrimp and upon opening it carton it appears to not be full for the 7 bucks we paid? I noticed the shrimps were pewny not the larger ones as we had at every Panda location? This is the real ass kicker those jerks had the audacity to put old shit topped off with a few shrimps. After the first shrimp I noticed they were hard dried old with tails still attached. Then I poured out the shrimps and all the breading was soggy and gloppy a mess. They pour that sweet sauce all over them so they were mushy. I will never return to this location ever again, they should be ashamed serving such garbage I hope I don't get sick I only ate a couple so hopefully I am good PEOPLE SKIP THIS PLACE SAVE YOUR MONEY $$$"$"

Dirty Broccoli!
Pykee C.

Ordered a meal with Super Greens dish and found a Broccoli that still had dirt on it. Told and showed it to the manager who says "ok", made a tiny apology and offered to replace the same dish but refused it because it's the same batch. Lesson learned...avoid this location and never eat at any Panda Express ever again! because it's true - the bigger they grow, the standards go low.

When I walked in, the woman in the front was actually calling me at that moment to let me know our order was ready. You get an INSANE amount of food for two people with the meal deal. 2 entrees, 2 pc of fried shrimp, 2 pc eggrolls, a large container PACKED with fried rice, and a large container of the most delicious and comforting wonton soup. We got the Family Delight, Kung pao chicken, and We added a third entree so we could try the noodles. The third entree definitely wasn't necessary for just two people we now have leftovers for at least three days. The food was hot, ready when expected, packaged nicely, and delicious! We're so satisfied with this and will definitely be getting the meal for 2 again. I am seriously so surprised at how much they pack food into these containers! They're not stingy with takeout at all!

We ordered takeout since it's conveniently located next to our gym and there was very little wait when they opened at 11:30 am. The food didn't take long to prepare (about 20-25 minutes) and still tasted warm and fresh when it arrived home. The servings are large, but white rice was not included with the entrees. The restaurant is clean and easy to locate in this shopping complex. The staff is very attentive to phone orders, and even prioritized taking a phone order ahead of me, even though I showed up first. Their service is hit and miss, but food is consistently tasty. Much better than ordering from a fast food Chinese restaurant. Give them a shot if you have patience and like freshly cooked Chinese food.

When I was a student here, I often frequented Mom Wong's or Tortillas and they're still here which is incredible. Mom Wong's is very student-friendly prices as well. Each dish pictured here was about $10-12 and the portions are huge! Seriously, if I was still a student here I'd be going here every week because I'd have enough food for three days. Now for the quality of the food... each dish was great. The chow mein, which included chicken and shrimp, was awesome. Seasoned nicely and not too greasy. The orange chicken, which looked and tasted a bit more like sweet and sour chicken (not mad about that!), was also very good and retained its crispiness. The fried rice, which is what my wife ordered, was good, kinda soy sauce heavy but it had a nice flavor overall. (Tbh idk why but I've never been a huge fan of fried rice).

Inside the restaurant, the ambiance is casual. I ordered the Juicy pork dumpling($10.99 ) and Milk tea with boba ($4.49). The dumplings were very juicy and a little sweet. That would be nice if they had some ginger slices and black vinegar for the dumplings. About boba tea, it's good. I prefer the tea to be stronger. Boba tea was warm, which means it's fresh, but needed more ice. They always serve in to-go containers. This place is good for friends, couples, and families. Parking is in front of the restaurant.

The portions are generous, everything is super flavorful, and it really feels like an authentic Chinese restaurant experience. The ambience is great and you truly get a real taste of Asian cuisine. The restaurant itself is more high-end for Chinese and it's beautiful. It can be a bit pricey depending on what you order, but in my opinion it is completely worth it. I politely asked if I could have rolls ,or salad instead. The staff member responded very rudely, saying, "The soup is complimentary. If you don't want the soup,it is your problem . We can't instead of soup give you rolls or salad." For me it sounds like "Take it or leave it." It wasn't about the soup--it was about the attitude and customer service. A little understanding and kindness would have gone a long way. Instead, I felt like my reasonable request was dismissed without any concern. I hope the management reads this review and realizes that the way customers are treated is just as important as the food.

Another delicious meal from Sesame Inn!…read more We've lived in the Suntree neighborhood in Newbury Park for 23 years, and have really enjoyed food from Sesame Inn (3327 Kimber) recently. Sesame Inn was owned for a long time by Jennifer and Paul, but went through two changes of ownership once they retired. A new couple, Ling and Shao Yung, now own Sesame Inn, and have kept the original recipes. The restaurant is currently carry-out only. Ling handles the phone and Shao Yung runs the kitchen. They're delightful! We've ordered most things on the menu (including the "secret" menu), but keep gravitating towards our favorites. Whenever we have out-of-town guests that have been here before, they always ask for carry-out from Sesame Inn. - 5 stars!

The shop has a few small tables situated, but found the floors dirty in multiple places and the overall smell was just not pleasant for such a small place. The table service was handled by an older woman, who may have been the manager. She was rude and curt towards us. When we were finished with our small bowl of the Asian style crunchy noodles and smaller bowl of duck sauce, we asked for more, and she informed us that we would have to buy a bag of noodles for $7 dollars. This is after we were seated and ordered our dinner. The orange chicken was over-fried and lacked taste, while my sweet and pungent shrimp was super soggy, almost relying on the sauce to act as the seasoning. Our pot stickers were ok .. but not great. They also had little to no flavour / seasoning .. and were dried out .. possibly over cooked, as well. I'm unsure if new management acquired this business, but it was not this way a few months ago. Seems like this place is beginning to penny pinch on the small things to save/make a few extra bucks. I so hope this place improves or turns around as I will check in now and again for good news! Thanks !

No biggie - patience is the calm acceptance that things can happen in a different order than the one you had in mind. I had to write a review because I knew one particular person was going to tarnish them because they didn't have that patience. As I suspected, he did. See the other review entry for today. It's definitely him. Let me share with you the chain of events I witnessed that allowed me to connect the dots so I can likely assume was him. With us other patrons waiting so patiently, because again, the manager was sharing with us how they were looking and was super apologetic. One can only tell you 10-15 mins but hey I knew I wasn't the only one there. Except for this guy who believed he was the only patron and should have been waited on hand and foot. He says 45 mins. I call BS. I was there. At the end of it all, he and his party walked out because 10-15 mins in a restaurant with patrons eating in and taking out was "too long." Thank goodness. Plus his attitude to some of the patrons was gross. The cherry on top was he was honking his horn to Mandarin Bistro for some reason as he was driving away. Um ok? In conclusion to that fool, YOU want private dining, stay your ass at home.
