Located in the parking lot of Costco (be careful it is a congested area), I placed my order online and picked it up as it's located within 3/4 of a mile from my new job. Parking is tight as it shares part of its parking with Costco. Order pick up is behind the counter, which is smart to avoid getting the wrong order. Without question, this was the worst experience I've ever had at a Panda Express. We came in around 6:30 PM (June 17) and placed our order. We then watched the employees prepare what was clearly our food and set it aside. After waiting about 10 minutes without hearing our name called, we went up to ask about it. Instead of checking, we were told our food hadn't been made yet and wasn't ready. We waited another 10 minutes. Still no food. We asked again and got the exact same response, that our order wasn't ready and hadn't been made. At that point, I asked them to actually look into it. Sure enough, our order had been sitting there the entire time, untouched, for nearly 20 minutes while we stood around waiting. By the time we finally received it, the food was cold. What was even more frustrating was the staff's attitude. Rather than apologizing for the mistake, they acted annoyed that we were asking about our own order. Eye-rolling, dismissive responses, and a complete lack of urgency made it clear they couldn't care less about the customers standing in front of them. To make matters worse, we weren't the only ones having issues. While we waited, two other customers came in to pick up online orders and were repeatedly ignored. We overheard both of them complaining about the service and confusion surrounding their orders as well, one guy had to go behind the counter to get someone's attention. The entire restaurant felt disorganized and poorly managed. Orders were apparently sitting around getting cold, employees weren't communicating with customers, and nobody seemed interested in fixing problems when they were pointed out. I won't be returning to this location, and management should seriously reevaluate how this restaurant is being run. read more

Probably the worst service I have ever received at a Panda Express to date. Dropped in for a quick take out lunch. I was the only person standing in line and ignored while multiple employees focused on filling Uber Eats orders. I stood there waiting as online tickets were prioritized over an actual customer who had taken the time to come into the restaurant. A lady finally fulfilled my order and guess what? It was wrong. I said white rice and she gave me fried rice. During this time, she kept watching the online orders come in. She had to redo my order and then left it sitting on the counter while the cashier was calling out uber eats orders. Why not just let me pay and leave? Never visiting this location again. Whomever manages this location needs to take a good hard look at their employees and re-train each of them on customer service and how a fast-casual restaurant should operate. read more

I'm not all too that picky or anything when it comes to eating out, but a lady, named Don I believe, approached me as I started eating and saw me picking out a brush hair out of my food. I wasn't trying to me a scene since I know everyone's got their work to do but she went out of her way to get a new plate, without me asking. The new plate was even more filled than the previous so much so that I had left overs to take home which I never do coming to Panda. Why do I continue to put myself through this agony? Cuz I live 1.4 miles from this location. Just drive the extra 10 min to Lincoln or Beach bl... Do not come to Winners Circle! Online Order expected to be ready at 1215pm. I arrived at 1217pm and waited on line for 5 min when I noticed completed orders piling up: 7 on the shelf and 4 on the ledge behind the line. Not one of the employees including the manager were helping the other 14 customers in the online order pickup line. When I asked Alan, the manager, if any of the orders on the shelf were mine, he just said he'll get to it. All he had to do was call out the names of the 11 orders that were just sitting there. I ended up just going to the cashier and asking her to give me my order, but I felt uncomfortable bypassing the line of at least 14 other customers. I wanted to just go back there and call out the names myself! Unfortunately, this is the normal practice at this location.. They help the first person in the online pickup line and fulfill that order only ...even if it's not ready. The other customers that come in when their order is expected have to wait behind all others in line while they help 1 person even if there are complete orders just sitting on the shelf. read more

First time at this location and the service was great. Was greeted as soon as we walked in and helped out quickly. There weren't very many other customers inside so it was perfect timing. My husband and I ordered the Panda Family Meal - Chow Mein, Fried Rice, Chicken String Bean, Orange Chicken and Beijing Beef. We ended up having to wait a little bit for our meal to be packaged since they were finishing up cooking a fresh batch of the Beijing Beef. 4/12/25, I am only giving this Panda Express along with every Panda Express in existence a 1-star rating for the simple fact that these restaurants are simply a big rip-off when it comes to "filler items" added to each entree. Fillers are very cheap chopped up or shredded vegetables like cabbage, onions, and inedible red peppers that are added in high volume to the main dishes as to keep costs down and profit margins high. Additionally, notice all that rice and chow mien that they add to your plate. All that cabbage added to the chow mien and mixed greens. All those onions added to the other main items. I'm not paying for a plate full of onions and cabbage that's simply nasty to eat. I have to spend time picking out all the cabbage and onions from my plate then spending time enjoying the meal. All those onions and cabbage and red chili peppers they add to all the items are disgusting to say the least. We have come to this Cypress location maybe once every month or so. The food is usually decent, but not always. Sometimes their food is not hot enough, it should be kept hotter for safety reasons and their packaging containers have definitely been down sized over the years, they don't hold as much as they use to. Their Hot Orange Chicken is tasty choice but contains to many inedible dried hot peppers. Their were at least 8 or more peppers in our small serving of chicken last night. We are paying for chicken, not cheep peppers. That is not acceptable. I frequent this location often and I think it's time I left a review. The quality of food has always been consistent and solid. Items are always fresh. The staff always acknowledges me when I come in or if I'm waiting for my pick up order. I notice the manager is always in the trenches with the employee during busy or non busy times. She's always friendly and quick. Dodgers keep winning home games and I keep coming back. This store always has it handled even during the promotion. The store itself is always clean. Parking can be a pain due to sharing the lot with Costco but it isn't too bad. This store definitely deserves a 5 star. 5 stars should also be handed to the team, employees and last but not least management. I hope corporate sees this and rewards this store. read more

Geez, what a disappointing location. My usual Panda Express is in the Vons off of Valley View and Chapman but when I went this weekend it was completely gone. This was the next closest location. It looked like a very nice location with spacious seating and it seemed very clean. Unfortunately the quality control of the food is non existent. I took my order to go so didn't see what it looked like until I got home. First, the cream cheese wontons. They were not sealed so all of the filling was gone, I'm sure floating in the deep fryer. The wontons were open and almost flat so unless the employees are blind there's no way they missed this. I felt ripped off with my empty wonton skins. Next, the broccoli beef. It was two GIANT heads of broccoli not cut up and barely cooked with a tiny sliver of beef. So it was like eating giant chunk of raw broccoli. Other reviews complain about the same thing so I assume it's this location's MO. The almond chicken was actually great tasting but I barely got any. Three pieces with a crumb like piece. They've already shrunk down the containers so much that they could have given me a bit more for the price. I was so pissed at being ripped off I went old school and wrote them an email on the website to complain. Amazingly enough customer service contacted me the same day and is sending me a coupon for another meal so at least corporate has good customer service but they should also see this location has endless 1 star reviews with pretty much the same complaints and need to look into this location. The owner of this location is obviously cutting corners to save money. Guess I'll give the new one on Beach Blvd and GG Blvd a shot when I get the free coupon. read more
