Orange Chicken Beijing beef chow mein fried rice 2 entree combo
    Arsany F.

Always a great experience with this Panda Express yeah sometimes the orange chicken is a bit stale or you get some stale peices of bejing beef but that's part of the Panda Express you can't complain when you pay $6-$7 with the DODGERSWIN coupon on the Panda Express app! It's about worth it for a 2 entree combo I don't understand the unjustified hate it's not justified shout out to the employees at this location they're always fast and nice! They deal with so many customers every day so it's nice to still have good service even tho it's busy! Great vibes here always!

Being beef and orange chicken never disappoint

This particular location is always busy! The food is good and fresh all the time, no complaints there! BUT they advertised a $5 combo dinner today because the Dodgers won yesterday and did not honor it! Poor customer service...I had already ordered and paid $12.30 for the meal. It was delicious but they misrepresented and did not make good on the offer. I will not go back.

The hyped up Orange Chicken Sandwiches
    Cho L.

So tons of my friends all sent me reels about this new hyped up Orange Chicken Sandwich. As a Panda Express fan, I decided to try it since my gf and I love trying new things. Location: Plenty of parking spots. The restaurant is relatively clean and organized Food: I also ordered a bowl with Chow Mein, fried rice, and Beijing Beef. The bowl was below average and the fortune cookies tasted different than other stores. The Orange Chicken Sandwich tasted more like a Sweet N Sour fried chicken Sando. It didn't taste like Orange Chicken. If they were to substitute the fried chicken with the actual Orange Chicken entree, it would have been much better. The buns are good and not too dry. It's not a bad sandwich but it's not an OC Sandwich... it's a bit overly hyped up tbh.

Ordered online and received this, portion is noticeably less and feels I've been robbed or cheated. I work at Panda as well so it's disappointing to see.

I don't usually leave reviews for fast food restaurants, but this review is SOLELY for the promotional ORANGE CHICKEN SANDWICH. When I saw this location was going to carry this item, I was excited. So I tried the sandwich yesterday and I was not impressed. First of all, the bun was too doughy and needs to be toasted. The second let down was that the chicken patty is not tossed in the orange sauce, instead the sauce is drizzled on afterwards. The other Mayo-like sauce as well as the pickles added a nice touch. Not worth the hype! Wouldn't order it again. 4/10

Usually this place is hit or miss in terms of proportions & vibes. Especially for takeout orders , portions tend to be smaller or even sometimes when ordering at the register . Not the most personable staff

What a horrible experience we had. We walked in and everyone was lined up to get their food at the buffet line, the servers put the food on the plate for you. You can order 1 protein with rice and noodles or 2 proteins. Everyone was so close together, no social distancing at all. The same was true for the tables, we tried to stay away from others and sure enough someone sat a foot away at another table, no mask. The staff has masks on but they did not insist that the people in the line had them on. Just gross. We get our food and the card reader was dirty and did not take my card. I used another and it worked and I had to clean my card with a wipe I carry in my purse. You get your drinks from the fountain area which was not cleaned and had napkins and straws around it, again, gross. Our food was hot. That is the end of the good part. The food was so greasy and without much flavor. The egg row was uneatable. The rice was dried out. The orange chicken was terrible. The shrimp was good. To make matters worst, I went into the bathroom and no paper towels. It had no been seen to in hours. My grandson went to the men's bathroom and cut his finger trying to get the empty paper towel dispenser to work. He came back to me bleeding. We will never be back to this one or anyone. I have no trust that they care about Covid, cleanliness or their food. Goodbye.

Ordered from Uber eats , plates were skimpy.. usually there's enough for later, however I found a hair in my food! Totally lost my appetite after that, it actually went in my mouth . Probably will not eat here again

This review is mainly based on the wait. So many orders are coming in from the delivery apps and at the moment I'm see 19 people waiting in line to place their orders. All of these takeout orders from the apps are being done while the customers wait to be helped. I myself stood in line for 27 minutes. That's a long time. Hopefully they cam figure out how to balance this issue to better serve the guest

So much chow mein and rice but 5 pieces of beef and 5 of the orange chicken.

Our hands down favorite is the 3 flavor soup. It is awesome for cool weather, really anytime. Mushrooms, celery, broccoli, carrots, shrimp, chicken, and BBQ pork. Not tips and slices, and leftovers-nice sized chunks and pieces. This soup stands alone as a meal on it's own-and is filling. If you look at Pho restaurant prices, the 3 flavor soup is a better deal and a satisfying meal. April 2026 is chilly, get the soup, and be content, and full! If you try it once, I bet you'll have a new favorite. My wife loves it. I order no chow mein in the soup for low carbs. Served HOT. Pretty nice and decent indoor dining area for a takeout place- with marble table tops, and comfy seats, asian style wall images make it nice. Unlike some chinese places, they have a bathrooms for customers-helpful. Cold stone next door makes it a "one Plaza tummy pleaser!"

We had two orders of slippery shrimp, kung pao chicken, eggplants with hot and spicy garlic sauce, juicy steamed dumplings, and pork fried rice. Overall, both restaurants in Chinatown and Pasadena provide great food quality. The ambience was cozy with dim lighting. Our round table had a wooden rotating tray. They have pictures of celebrities and politicians who've visited their restaurant. Service was relatively quick, but there was a 20-minute wait for the dumplings. Valet parking can get difficult when the lot gets full. A few cars entering the narrow driveway had to reverse out of the way to let others leave. The kung pao chicken was very tasty with a good amount of spice. I noticed that the slippery shrimp didn't taste as spicy as the portion from Pasadena. Reviews say that the spice is adjustable. Regardless. it tasted great as it came right off the pan. The pork fried rice was delicious with a savory flavor that didn't seem overpowering. I thought the juicy steamed dumplings were the weakest dish out of our whole order. There wasn't enough flavor and heat from the broth. I didn't try much of the eggplants, but they tasted adequate for me.

Because let me tell you... it has been a **long, long time** since I've had Chinese food that made me believe in love again. Then the food came out. The rice? STICKY...PERFECTLY STICKY!!! Perfect. MOIST, not mushy... just minding its business and being amazing. Like, where have you been all my life? Why did you let me suffer like that? And the sweet and sour pork... listen... crispy on the outside, tender on the inside... it had layers. Emotional layers. I wasn't just eating, I was healing. The Broccoli and beef...game changer. The broccoli had a fresh snap to it mmmm fresh! But what blew me away was the beef, it resembled Wagu meet. So tender so flavorful. I was sitting there, slowly munching my night away, completely unbothered, living my best life like I had just found inner peace... in a takeout container, but better, it was on a plate! At one point I literally thought, "Is this what happiness tastes like?" Because I was in full "Wok Deli" Chinese style. No passport, no jet lag, just vibes. I didn't want to leave. I considered ordering more just to stay longer like, "Don't rush me, I'm having a moment." If you've been out here struggling like I have, eating mediocre Chinese food and pretending it's okay... stop. Go here. Fix your life. 10/10. Came for food, left emotionally fulfilled.

What struck me most was the fact that the woman serving the food greeted so many people with familiarity and verve. She knew people's orders, habits, attire... What prompted my review was that, even though yesterday had been the first time I'd been there, she treated ME like I was also a regular, sending me out the door with a stack of almond cookies I didn't order. New Peking Restaurant is not a new business in Cerritos, nor is it new to restaurants on South St. Formerly located on Bloomfield and South, but because of the closure of the plaza it was originally located at, New Peking relocated to South and Pioneer at the Sprouts plaza.
