Waited 15 minutes past the time they were supposed to open. Staff was friendly but now I'm running late.

As few times as I go to the mall, I've not had the opportunity to eat Panda Express. Whenever I eat the food court quickies, it's been something else. Since I was in the same parking area as P.E. today, I figured I'd go in and try it. I got the Chow Mein, Kung Pao Chicken, and Sweetfire Chicken combo. Now, either I'm not used to chow mein down here, or the noodles are not what I expected. From what I saw and tasted, they are calling this dish something completely different. I've always seen Asian inspired restaurants say it's Lo Mein, due to the type of noodles, where as Chow Mein is just the steamed vegetables (and slightly other noodles, given the place). When asked about it, we were told it's chow mein because "it's vegetables with noodles". O....kay.... Yea, still called Lo Mein in 99 per cent of the places I go to. But I'm not going to argue. The Kung Pao Chicken was good; wasn't the best I've had, but it was tasty with little bits of whole chilis mixed in. I like when you get that... it makes the meal more fun. The Sweet Fire chicken was surely sweet, with a slight fire kick to it. Not as chili heat as the Kung Pao, but enough to let you know the honey sweet was there to help. Monetary note of two things when visiting this establishment: Whatever the shrimp meal of the day is, it costs an extra dollar and a half on top of the plate charge (one side and 2 entrees or one side and 3 entrees). Same thing goes with the Shanghai Angus steak. I went with someone who wanted to do the Steak and something with the side, but the woman behind the counter informed us it was an extra dollar fifty because "it's top Angus steak" and therefore, you're paying extra "for premium". Also noted: The "choose your plate" is a bit deceiving. We read it as: 1. Choose your side. 2. Choose your Entrees. 3. Add drink. The difference is: the third step, add drink, is a separate entity. You pay 6.29 for two entrees or 7.54 for three; then it's an additional charge of a couple dollars for a fountain drink. We questioned it, and were told the last step is optional. We still ordered the drinks, but be forewarned. :) We'd actually go back if in the area again. read more

I grew up in California in the Central Valley and I am a transplant in Florida by way ok Oklahoma! One of the things I miss the most is the teriyaki chicken bowls. A friend of mine that is transplanted in Pennsylvania told me that the teriyaki chicken at Panda is very comparable and I just had to try it. I ordered through Uber Eats for lunch from this location and could not be more disappointed. We ordered a small walnut shrimp, two chicken teriyaki bowls, a plate with double chicken teriyaki, a small order of crab Rangoon and 2 chicken egg rolls. We didn't receive the egg rolls and the restaurant did not send any teriyaki sauce. They do not cook the chicken in the teriyaki sauce either so it was dry chicken on top of white rice with no sauce. So disappointing super expensive lunch that none of us ate because who would have thought that teriyaki chicken would be served without teriyaki?? My family and I stopped by to grab a quick dinner before heading to our VRBO in Cape Coral. We got a family meal that lasted us for 2 day. But I must say, Panda is to be eaten on day one and that's it. Came to Panda Express on 7-26-2020!! Odered the fircracker chicken with fried rice and noodles and then a separate side order of orange chicken and noodles that's not what I got!! I got a total messed up order and they forgot my extra noodles and rice!! And sliverwear had to come back for it kinda disappointing panda!! read more

I visited the location at 7 pm on a Saturday. I was the thirteenth person in line when I arrived. 20 minutes later I was still tenth in line. The staff pretty much ignored the line in the store and only focused on call-in orders. After 45 minutes I had had enough and left without ever getting close enough to place my order. They had five people working, so it wasn't like they had no staff. read more

Absolutely ridiculous. We pre-ordered and it said the order would be ready in an hour. So, we waited to leave, left the house, got there... waited AN HOUR FOR OUR FOOD AFTER the time it was supposed to be finished for pick up! Mind you, the whole time people were ordering in front of us and getting their food before us!!!! Over and over and over again until I spoke up! I am in the service industry. I realize the situation. I ordered takeout from here. I didn't expect it to blow me away or anything, I mean it is after all fast food. However it was awful! The egg roll was burnt and dried out, the noodles had no flavor at all and were also dried out. I also got chicken and string beans and beef with broccoli. Both were basically flavorless. I eat at Panda Express all over Florida often, and don't often have an issue. This particular Panda nearby where I live has screwed up my order on more than just one occasion. This past week I had ordered 3 bigger plates and upon arriving home with the To-go order we discovered that all 3 meals were missing the small box of food that were part of each bigger plate order. I do not call and complain and I certainly was not driving back, I just voice the facts on here and will no longer use this particular store because of their incompetence multiple times. read more

Worse service ever out of everything and after waiting 15 minutes for the items that were out when I got there they never filled it up with the items I did want that were there when I got there so those were then gone too because the employees where getting plates to take to the back or outside while others including myself were waiting. Certainly not ok so after 20 minutes of not having anything but the noodles now that I wanted I left with nothing.... Stopped in here to get a quick lunch having enjoyed the food at other locations. The staff was friendly and the food was pretty good. My only problem with this location is that while in line behind several patrons I witnessed another employee empty out the fried rice for his own lunch requiring the rest of us to wait until more was cooked. I went got a plate from here today and started eating my food like normal, only to find a big bug in my orange chicken! I was so disgusted! I spat my food out and told the a worker there, and showed her the clearly visible bug. She lied and said that it was a piece of garlic, and makes me another plate instead of giving me a refund, she then goes to her other coworker and talks bout how there was a bug in my food! And to make matters worse, not only did she lie to me but she didn't throw out the batch of orange chicken even after hearing about the bug, she just served the chicken to other customers. It was utterly disgusting! I could even bring myself to eat the plate she made me take! I was so nauseous and disgusted! I won't be coming back anytime soon. All I can say is if you come here, check and make sure there aren't any bugs in your food. Even so, they will serve you contaminated food and won't care if anyone gets sick. Prior to this visit at panda express, I had completely sworn off panda express. However I was craving Chinese, and my husband said let's give it another try. I thoroughly enjoyed this location, it was a bit busy however. It did appear in very neat in appearance and there were plenty of options to choose from. Constantly they were switching out dishes with fresh ones, I would imagine that nothing sits on the line longer than 30 minutes. read more

This store was filthy when we visited it. That being said, it was an anomaly because other stores have been very clean and the food good.

This place is not closed- I was there this past weekend. I go here for lunch about twice a month and either get the teriyaki chicken or the orange chicken with the noodles and have always been pleased. The food is consistently good- I just wish there were more vegetables in the noodles- chop up a few more onions and celery stalks to add to noodles! The manager (at least I think she is the manager- could be the owner) always acknowledges me with a smile and has always been pleasant. I enjoy this place - but beware the up charges for premium items like shrimp or angus beef. My portions have always been generous, tasty, fresh and at a reasonable price. Highly recommend read more

Probably one of the worst ran businesses I've ever interacted with. The customer service is completely non existent. Everyone who works here is incompetent to the core. I love Panda Express and never had any bad food. The only thing was the lady gave me the worst honey walnut shrimp in the bowl (like literally dug through it to pick the ones that had the breading coming off and was soggy) and didn't put any of the walnuts in there either (shook them off the spoon before putting in my container). Food did not impress... This was my first time coming to a Panda Express and I was expecting to be wowed. I was disappointed to be honest, so many people hype this place up for NO REASON. Unfortunately the food was not good at all! I ordered the honey chicken and sweet fire chicken and it was okay but again nothing special. The egg roll was super soggy and did not have that crunch that an egg roll is supposed to have. I'm rating this place 2 stars only for the fact that the employee was super generous and the fried rice was quite tasty. If not I would rate this place 1 star and that's me being generous.
