Meh, I was hoping it was like Panda Express & it's set up like that but the food isn't as good. I may try something else but I'd I'd rather make the drive to Panda. Something else I didn't like is online they don't show the smaller entrees, only on the menu in the store. I also wanted some teriyaki on the side & a manger type person said we don't have it, it has to be made, the cook interrupted & said I'll make you some. That should have been the opposite! Ordered a carry out lunch at PeiWei in Cape Coral. Although it was close to lunchtime there was only 1 other customer in the restaurant. (I am used to Panda Express which is always packed but unfortunately not close by) Service was fast but the food is very overpriced for what you get. We ordered the Bourbon Chicken, Firecracker Shrimp, and the Korean BBQ steak. We had to pay an extra $2.39 per plate for the noodles so the bill came to $48.93 for 3 plates. Got home and found there was hardly any chicken pieces or steak pieces in the meal. (Add the picture of the Bourbon Chicken.) It also tasted very very bland (No or very little spices or salt). The Bourbon chicken tasted like it was boiled which may explain why there was no Char at all on the few pieces. This was the 1st time ordering Pei Wei and will definitely never go back again. I'll rather drive to Panda Express for a much more versatile and tastier meal. I now understand why there was only 1 other customer and I do not think this place will last. read more

They opened yesterday and this is their grand opening period. Everything is fresh clean and new. Despite the rain, it was busy inside. Great quality food served quickly and with a smile. We had multiple people come by and check if we needed anything. I tried the firecracker chicken with white rice. The firecracker chicken had a nice crisp texture on the outside and was very moist inside. The firecracker sauce had good heat and left a sensation of warmth on my lips and in my mouth, but wasn't overpowering. Pretty much just the way I like it. Mr. T had the hot honey chicken with fried rice. This chicken also had a crisp texture on the outside with good moist chicken inside. The sauce for his dish had a hint of heat that was tempered by the sweetness of the honey and he said he would get this dish again. The food was given to us quickly after ordering and you get your own utensils, chopsticks, napkins, and drinks to the right of the order area. However, they do come by and bus your table for you, so no need to look for a waste basket or place to put your dishes Excellent experience! We're looking forward to our next visit. read more

Welcome to Cape Coral Pei Wei!!! So excited to have an excellent Chinese restaurant to be able to come to here in the Cape. Food is prepared fresh to order. They have a great selection including poke bowls. They also serve bobo tea. I had the King Pao chicken. Served with snap peas, scallions, carrot strands and peanuts cooked in a spicy, flavorful sauce. For about $15 served in a large bowl for dine in. They have fountain Coke products, thank you for having Coke Zero! To-go boxes are readily available so you don't have to ask the staff. They bring your order to your table when it's ready. They also have a rewards program, however since they just opened last weekend, their system crashed. Save your paper receipts and add your points later when they get it back up and running. I have always LOVED this location, however, it appears that leadership may not be present because no one, since I arrived, had been greeted and when I went up to place my order there was no greeting just a stare (no smile, no welcome, no "can I Help You" or "what can we prepare for you today" or perhaps "Do you have a favorite" or maybe let me tell you about a few items on the menu. Also, missed opportunity to upgrade and add a spring roll. I will return but today's visit was about all the employees chatting and joking amongst themselves. Off day. Second trip, another take out order. Must have been an off night. Soup was oversalted, pork egg rolls were disappointingly mushy, chicken and broccoli was overpowered by ginger, and the chicken was dry. The Kung pow shrimp was salty and had way to many peanuts, the Shrimp were good but every forkful had 6-7 peanuts. Overall for $40, a very disappointing meal. Inconsistency is an issue. I've been to Pei Wei at multiple locations in Nashville & the food was fantastic. I've ordered food from the new Cape Coral restaurant & several times I got sick. I fed a bit of a blander dish to my 2 dogs & now both of them are pretty sick. I should never have gone back! I'm wondering if the chicken/meat are refrigerated properly? Never again! read more

DO NOT SPEND MONEY HERE! Ordered my meal, was told I have enough "points" to lower the cost of my meal, upon paying, the total did not lower. When I asked, the same person that told me about my "points" had no idea what I was talking about. Low IQ establishment. They also round your change up/down for some BS reason. First time I went it was good. Thai Basal Chicken and Borboun chicken. Second time. was awful. Beef and Broccoli was way too salty, the sauce was basically all soy sauce and I don't think it had any oyster sauce at all. The beef was tough and the broccoli was overcooked. Recently ordered take out from the new place on Pine Island. General Tso's spicy chicken with steamed rice. Crab wontons. Be warned this spicy dish is really spicy! Everything was good. They include all you need in the package. Chop sticks, utensils, a honey sauce, soy sauce and fortune cookies. Wontons were crispy and good. Rice was a little overcooked and gummy. This I did not expect. I wish they offered more than 1 kind of soy sauce a Kikkoman is not my favorite. The one near Gulf Coast is better Overall. But they are new so I will give them another shot. Overall, a good takeout meal for under $20. read more

Shareable if you arent a big eater(s) Priced moderately to pricey for a fast-food casual dining hybrid experience. Cafeteria type searing in an open bland environment. Can get cramped if busy and you want to eat there as opposed to taking it out. Place is located in a strip mall off of Pine Island Rd and Del Prado. I'd go again if I'm in a rush, Otherwise, I'll 'stock to a good Thai restaurant for a more enjoyable dining experience. read more

We tried this place for the first time the other day, and I did NOT have high expectations for a "chain" Asian concept. I was pleasantly surprised! The food is all cooked to order and the ingredients seemed fresh and high quality. We had the Drunken Noodles with chicken and the Pad Tai with shrimp. Be aware that if the menu says a dish is spicy, it will actually be spicy! We will definitely go back to try more of the menu. read more
