So unfortunately I have been confined to the house for 4 months due to knee surgery, so I've been unable to be out and about exploring the wonderful world of fun food adventures. Fast food has been a life saver for this family on sport nights so here we go!! Our local Panda Express seems to be extremely busy and at times, will run out of important staples, like orange chicken, and even rice!! The restaurant itself is lovely and very modern, but unfortunately they seem to suffer with the no staff dilemma and can't keep up with the cleaning aspect. The tables always seem dirty and unattended, so we always go in (like to look at the food before we pick), and then end up getting our food to go. So we've never had an issue with the quality or quantity of the actual food. Always delicious and fresh!! I have noticed they seem to be staffed here of late and keeping up with their inventory so they're on the up and up!! This place is good. It tastes like panda. Never had a bad experience here. I go at least once every other week at around 11:30am for lunch and it's always good. Compared to other fast food it's fresh and you actually get your moneys worth. People only leave reviews when they're upset. read more

I'm not usually the type to leave reviews because I understand that businesses have good days and bad days. I'm not posting this to get anyone in trouble, but rather to provide feedback in hopes that situations like this can be prevented in the future. This Panda Express location is my regular go-to whenever I decide to get Panda Express. I usually stop by after work between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and I've noticed that it's consistently very busy during those hours. While I understand that rush periods can cause delays, the wait times here are often unacceptable for a fast-food restaurant. On my most recent visit, which was today I got in line around 8:00 PM. I live only about five minutes away, yet I didn't make it home until 8:30PM. After waiting in line for a long time, I reached the drive-thru window and paid using Apple Pay. The employee tapped my phone and the employee came back and told me the transaction had declined. However, I knew there were sufficient funds in my account so I checked my phone and showed the employee that the payment had actually been processed and the money had already been deducted. The employee informed me that the payment had not gone through on their end and asked me to tap again. I did, and he told me that if the first charge did not automatically refund, I could call the store to have it corrected. I received my order and start eating it in the car. The food had no taste to it which was definitely not normal. To sum it up, I went to a fast-food restaurant, spent an excessive amount of time waiting in line, horrible food, and ended up being charged twice for my order. My concern is that not everyone can afford to have extra money tied up while waiting for a refund. What if that duplicate charge had been someone's last available funds? I'm sharing this experience simply in the hope that improvements can be made and that similar situations can be avoided in the future. read more

All I have to say is the last couple of times I've been there, it's been pretty good. I always get double orange chicken and fried rice. The OC has been hot and fresh at least the last three times I was there. And the rice has been better too. Usually, I feel like it doesn't have enough flavor. Yesterday's meals were beyond pathetic. In the Broccoli Beef there were pieces of broccoli the size of a large plumb and far to undercooked. They had to be cut into several bites to eat. Furthermore there was so much broccoli that there was hardly any meat, less than 1/4 cup of beef. Shameful for the price. The chow mien almost had more cabbage than noodles. Note this review isn't so much about the line, or the wait, because I KNOW they are shorthanded, and I am understanding about that. The food is fine, typical Panda Express. I gave 1 star because tonight I waited in line for 45 minutes. The line wrapped around the building, and they were probably only taking 1 order every 5 minutes. After sitting in the line for as long as I did, I REALLY needed to use the restroom. When I finally made it to the window, I paid, and I sheepishly asked if I could run inside really quickly to use the restroom. The very nice young man at the window said yes, but I guess he let the manager know and she shut it down. He seemed really embarrassed when he came back and told me that she (the shift manager I guess) said no, they wouldn't let me in. I guess my thinking is that just a little bit of courtesy could have been shown. My running in to use the restroom wouldn't have hurt anything, and it's not like my going in would have suddenly caused everyone to want to go in. Next time I will happily drive to Roanoke the next time my family wants Panda Express. Between workers who half the time don't even smile or even talk when you get to the window, and now this, I just won't give this location my business any longer. read more

Skimpy on the portions. The food always looks like it's been sitting there forever. There is always 2-3 entree options that are empty. You have to ask them to cook what they are out of which means you have to wait. Seems like they always run out of white rice....or they are too lazy to cook more. How do you run out of white rice in a Chinese restaurant!?!?....it's kinda like an Italian restaurant running out of pasta or marinara sauce!! Came by the drive thru to get the big plate. They informed me that the honey walnut shrimp was a 8-10 minutes wait. Okay and waited 17 minutes later, no one came out to give me my food, when to the drive thru again and ask and was told it's going to be another minute. I feel like we always get fresh food and even when it is super busy there is someone going around cleaning the floors and tables. Thank you for the huge improvement. The food was good and the girl who helped us was sweet, but the dining area was disgusting. We had to wipe down our own table ( every table had food on it ). The floors looked like they had not been swept all day. Sticky and food all around tables. We got there around 5:15 so I'm going to be nice and assume a ton of people had just left and maybe they haven't had the chance to clean. This place is something else, not in a good way. 40 min wait inside the store. Would of been longer but a couple groups of customers walked out . At least 9 customers walked out because the line would not move. The workers have no sense of urgency. Also this location doesn't open their dine in area everyday. My first time at Panda Express and I have never been so disappointed. Came here because I was craving a rice dish and there's no where close for me to go during my 30 minutes lunch break. I ordered the black pepper chicken with fried rice and some cream cheese crab rangoon. I asked for no onions because I'm going back to work and I didn't want my breath smelling all crazy. Went through to drive through, for what I ordered, it was like $8 for it. Got to work, open my food container up and my face got back-handed by the fragrance of onions!! I went to Panda Express for dinner. To start out with, they were out of steamed rice, fried rice, and orange chicken. It was a 7 minute wait for more steamed rice to be made. The orange chicken had been refilled during that time too. I heard them call the steamed rice had been refilled since I stepped out of line to wait. The guy behind the counter had written down what I wanted. I went back up and was first in line. This black lady came up and started rudely walking up and down the food aisle in front of me while I was talking to them and getting my order straightened out. The same black lady saw that I was trying to sit in a certain spot and again rudely took the spot. Rather than make a scene in a crowded restaurant, I went and sat down elsewhere. After I placed my order- they were very rude. I accept my meal, and the window clerk shoved my bag at me. I did not receive a receipt, and asked. The worst pick up service I ever experienced. Order was an hour late from pick up time (1.5 hours from ordering). They have order to different cars incorrectly throughout the day, lost orders for other people. And managers were completely nonchalant about the entire experience and didn't care one bit about any of the customers that been waiting for an hour for their orders at all. Unfortunately their employees are either illiterate or honestly just do not know how to read. I placed a pick up order for Uber eats ahead of time. I arrive at my pick up time and was told that someone picked it up (which I was confused because Uber eats specifically has a code with your name so the food should ONLY be released to the person who bought it). Needless to say the cashier tried to argue with me that someone already picked it up and verified. Which I found funny because again, Uber eats assigns you a code! I ordered a larger meal to cater a kids sleepover. We will NEVER return to this location and not will any of my friends, family or coworkers! Morgan the manager could have done a better job communicating and speaking with her employee regarding the situation. To argue with someone who has the code pulled up and verified myself, you guys were not only wrong but disrespectful of my time. I got a bowl with white rice and orange chicken. The orange chicken did not appear to be properly sauced. Almost every single time we come here to this location there is an "issue" the other night at 8:30pm an hour before closing they were out of literally EVERYTHING!! Then tonight we have been out of town all day wanting food close to home and my son orders a big plate and they are out of fried rice, like really fried rice the main side item everyone gets you're out of. It's Saturday evening at dinner and you're out. So we got the plate my son doesn't like noodles or brown rice so we said no thank you no side then. You'd think they would discount the side item off nope they didn't and when I asked he said "oh we don't discount anything" never a sorry for inconvenience, or I apologize we are out of rice we were extremely busy, nothing not a word!!
