When I drove home I realized I got noodles (that were hard and dry), and what I thought was other chicken. It was dry with no sauce as if it was just a chicken nugget. I called them and they were understanding, I drove back for them to remake my order, I finally got my rice and I came right when they were making a new batch of "orange chicken". You would like to think Panda Express would excel in fast Asian food but I question if they can do anything right there. I just received a Grubhub order that I placed at 7pm and it didn't arrive until 815pm. My food is ice cold and the quality of my order is terrible. Tried the Shanghai Angus Steak special (for a $1.25 up-charge) with mixed vegetables, only. I thought the meal was pretty good, as a whole. The steak was tender and was in a very tasty, slightly, spicy brown sauce. I would definitely have it again. The vegetables: string beans, bok choy, broccoli and carrots tasted fresh and were perfectly cooked, except for the carrots which were very hard, still, and needed to be steamed before they were wokked. This location appears to be a newer building with an abundance of parking available and a nice (natural light) bright, sit-down area. I was a bit perturbed by an errant employee who answered in a rude manner, "I have no idea..." when I asked her when the Teriyaki Chicken, which Panda Express has been advertising, is going to be available. [A very large photo advertisement of this new entree was directly next to the ordering menu on the wall). She wasn't pleasant, didn't provide a greeting, simply rude with a menacing stare. It was necessary for me to ask her to repeat herself a few times due to her mumbling. She was inpatient with me as I attempted to get familiar with the menu to order. Once I recited my order she made no acknowledgement that she got it. If I could this would be zero stars. My wife and I stopped on our way home after visiting family nearby. When we arrived, there was no fried rice, no chow mein prepared. It was nowhere close to closing time. People were parked waiting for food and others waited in the lobby for food they had already paid for. My wife and I waited for about 15 minutes for food that we were told will take about eight minutes to prepare. After the15 minutes, I began to ask about my order. It wasn't ready. I waited some more and then asked for my money back. At that time I was told my order was ready but that wasn't true. I finally convinced them to give me my money back, but I had to wait for someone to bring a form for me to fill out. That was on a Saturday. It's now been a week and two days, and I still don't have my money back. I called last Friday and was assured they were going to re-process the refund. I don't understand. I called again today, and was told just wait another day or two since they re-processed the refund on Friday. I love pandas but this is deff the worst location I been to and have been to a few around the us including Hawaii where the food and store is treated with pride. Food is always a hit or miss. I once found a leg of either a roach or grasshopper in the steam vegetables and have never gotten that again but now they have changed veggies I'm tempted to try now and than. Honestly I don't get the fascination with this place. I was told by several co-workers how "awesome" and "fabulous" this place was. Since my husband has a severe / life threatening shellfish allergy, it's a rare treat for me to eat Chinese food. We typically avoid places like this one for that reason. When I finally broke free of my normal lunchtime routine, bit the bullet and went here, I got crappy Chinese food that was poorly cooked, and way too expensive for what I paid. Weird drive through, weird area, weird packaging of their food. Seriously, I ordered the orange chicken in a 'single serving' size and it came in a teeny tiny little take-out container - that would have been considered 'bite sized,' not single serving. There was about 4 bite sized pieces of chicken in it. Their egg rolls are super tiny, about half the size of a normal egg roll, and definitely not worth the money. I didn't think the orange chicken was that spicy (after reading other reviews) but there just wasn't a lot of it. And the drive through? This was my first visit to this Panda Express, we'll come back to that later. I've been to Panda Express before (in Chicago's Loop several years ago) but tonight, I was tired, I was hungry and it was quite late. It seemed like a good idea at the time. The facility is spotless, the help was friendly, smiling, and all but overly anxious to please. They were very impressive. I realized I was there well beyond the normal dinner hour, there didn't seem to be much stock on display, but certainly enough for a couple of orders. I ordered beef and broccoli, string bean chicken and walnut shrimp. The beef and broccoli actually had a couple of pieces of beef in it. It seems that beef is as common in this dish as chicken in Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup. The portions of the main courses are pretty small. The side dish portions are overly large. Panda Express could probably be classified as Chinese Fast Food. Wong's Wok did it in Milwaukee first, over 30 years ago, and did it better. Anyway, it was my first visit to this Panda Express, it probably won't be my last but I doubt that I will be a regular here. I'd say that Harvey Moy doesn't have much to worry about. read more

Every single time I come here they are out of a lot of food options EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! I will be reporting my experiences with corporate to let them know something has to be done. Food is not labled as spicy and it should be. Even after mentioning that it was my first time there I ordered kids meals (orange chicken) for my little children only to have them in tears after eating some because it was so spicy. Either lable menu items or warn people ordering kids meals. I called the manager to complain and he offered me more kids meals.... Our experience has always been pleasent at the Gerrmantown location,everything I've eaten there has been delicious so far, I Love the Honey Walnut Shrimp! and although it's an extra $1.25 up cahrge I think it's worth the price and the vegetables are off the chain!!!
