A dump, disguised as a restaurant.

These people have one GD job Serve the food. Nope an hour before closing half the menu is out of stock, and then we didn't get one of the bowls. Oh yea, no forks or spoon enclosed. (Not even a chopstick) I will have to be dragged back. And only if someone else pays.

i've never been a fan of panda express nor do I typically review chains but i just needed to say that the vegan beyond orange chicken is to die for. a non vegan friend said it was better than the regular orange chicken. i've had friends doordash the regular orange chicken, take one bite, and throw it away. the quality of panda expresses meat it is very inconsistent. the beyond orange chicken is consistently good. you never have to worry what weird part of the chicken you might be subjected to. the chow mein and spring rolls are also vegan if you want a complete meal. but i definitely recommend the beyond orange chicken to everyone...even meat eaters. give it a try. 10/10 for beyond orange chicken everything else.... skip

I don't normally leave reviews and I am generally too generous with making allowances for poor service. This may be the worst Panda Express I have been to. Ordered broccoli beef. Almost no beef, see picture. The beef was way, way too salty and the broccoli wasn't fully cooked. There were 5-6 employees on the line and I still had to wait 5+ minutes staring at my food getting cold in its box while I was waiting to pay, with no one ahead of me and one person behind me. They were all concentrating on drive-thru. Even with a dozen people working there, no one was cleaning tables. Every single table, most were empty, was covered in food. All trash bins were overflowing. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

Panda Express is its own category of food. I go to Panda because...I specifically want Panda. It's quick, affordable, consistent, and offers classic American Chinese food. The staff at this location is friendly and the line moves quickly. There isn't a lot of seating but I love the large tables since they're suitable for bigger parties or individuals who can table share. The real winner here is the building itself. Lots of natural light and the ventilation is ACE. Some restaurants struggle with the smell of cooking oil when the dining and kitchen areas are in the same room. However, I did not smell a trace of oil in my hair/clothes. Knocked off two stars because the floor was kinda slippery, tables weren't clean, and my fortune cookie was stale.

    Dried chow mein

I finally gave Panda Express a chance and the location on market place is hands the best. food and service, however the 28/east beltline location the chow mein is dried out They dont listen to what you want to order they give you what they want to give you.

Nostalgic of the Americanized Chinese food I grew up with including the paper zodiac placemats and tea cups. There is a bar, and a mix of tables and booths. We were seated right away. Hot & Sour Soup - the perfect balance of black pepper spice and sourness. As good as I remember. Sometimes I'll ask for half-and-half - half hot & sour and half egg drop soup. General Tso's Chicken - pleasantly surprised with the large and tender chicken pieces with less breading. Did not taste any spice, but it did come with the spicy red chili peppers you can eat for more spice. Great flavor otherwise. Curry Chicken - green curry with tender chicken and I liked all the veggies that gave it great texture - green peppers, onions, celery, small chunks of water chestnuts, peas and carrots. Marked as spicy on the menu, but I tasted absolutely nothing spicy. I can no longer tolerate much spice so that was surprising. I am limiting white rice consumption so I wish they had brown rice as an option. Only white rice or fried rice available. I just ate our meals witbout rice. We had a nice family dinner and would come back.

This is a big place with a very nice dining area - clean, well-lit, and not loud or "tight" at all. Service was impeccable - fast, friendly, and accurate. Why only three stars, you ask? The food was, at best, average. My wife and I both like spicy food, and prefer seafood for our protein. So, she ordered the Hunan Shrimp lunch special (with hot sour soup and white rice) and I ordered the Kung Pao Shrimp (with hot sour soup and fried rice). The soup was a bowl, not a cup, and was FULL of meat, vegetables, egg, and tofu. It looked great. The taste was...unusual compared to others I've had. The "hot" seemed exclusively due to a huge amount of black pepper. The "sour" was barely discernible - no trace of vinegar or similar. Very hearty, vegetables nice, but the overall taste was meh. Our entrees arrived and they were HUGE. You definitely get your money's worth here. The crab cheese was nice - crispy with a decent amount of filling. The eggrolls we got were very different. My wife's was mostly cabbage, while mine had a nice variety of things in the filling, the best eggroll I've had in a while. I definitely appreciated both plum sauce and hot mustard - it's rare to get the latter these days. My fried rice was decent - not bad but not distinctive, and my wife thought her white rice was a bit overcooked. The entrees were the source of our biggest disappointment. The sauces on the Hunan and Kung Pao were bland and indistinguishable. They tasted absolutely identical - like brown gravy with a few peppers tossed in. Despite a little "burn" the sauce was reminiscent of grandma's beef gravy. Vegetables in both dishes were nice - good variety and nicely crisp. Shrimp was cooked perfectly and there were many. Despite the positives, they just couldn't overcome how bland the sauce was. I will probably give this place another shot and not order the same food. The service and atmosphere are so good I think I need to try it again.

Overall Rating: 10/10 Final Verdict: wasabi sushi and Chinese is by far one of the best sushi places I've ever tried and as someone who goes out of their way to try as many as possible- This one exceeded my expectations. Would I return? If I could eat here on a daily basis I would. Would I recommend it? Absolutely it would be a great place to get together with friends or even bring a couple family members or have a date night.
