This location is pretty consistent. My husband and I come here every once in a while and have never had any major issues. We came one night around 9pm, and a lot of the food was out, so everything we ordered was fresh and ready in about 5-7 minutes. Super fresh Beijing beef and honey walnut shrimp will change your life, and it'll be hard to go back to the stuff that's been sitting in the pans for a while. The restaurant itself is usually clean, but this time, the floor in front of the counter was extremely sticky, as if a large soda had just been spilt and not yet cleaned up. No matter, it's all good. I've been a customer for years and the portions of the entrées have always been small but now the portions are not only small they are mostly vegetables with very little meat. I ordered online and put in a special request to go easy with the broccoli but they ignored it. When I got home the large broccoli beef entrée only had about 10% beef. Disappointing. read more

I don't know why this spot get a low rating, we pass by two other locations to come to this one. The food is always fresh and they are never out of items. The staff is far more courteous than other pandas that we have gone to. My favorite thing has to be the teriyaki chicken. Grilled perfectly and always tasty. Orange chicken is delicious. Actually, let me clarify: Panda Express Orange Chicken is delicious. They have perfected the dish, mostly because it is probably made at a central location and frozen and distributed to all Pandas and then tossed in the wok ready to go. But still, sometimes there is nothing wrong with consistency, and that chicken is consistently tasty. The only time the orange chicken is bad is when it's been sitting for a while. But it's OK, just ask when they'll be making a new batch and they'll kindly oblige. Fresh is best... and this pretty much applies to everything there. If I can, I try to get fresh noodles and orange chicken and I'm happy. At this location, the server had no problem requesting a new batch of orange chicken made, and even told me to avoid the sweet and sour pork I was eyeing because it was also soggy. Beware of this location. As you can see from previous reviews this location is pushy on the upsell. We had been here a few times as the food was not bad. We then had a horrible experiance, we witnessed someone bringing food back because it was not what they ordered. The lady behind the counter satisfied the customer and they left. Then she (the pushy one, most likely the manager or owner) proceeded to dump the food that was returned back into the containers to serve to future customers. I've been to this location quite a few times and the customer service isn't very consistent. Today was by far the worst experience of all. I ordered a 2 entree plate with orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. A manager or shift lead in a black polo served my food. She did it in such a hurry for no reason. There was no one behind me and the orange chicken was full to the top. I got 5 PIECES of orange chicken, there is absolutely no exaggeration when I say that. To top it off, the teriyaki chicken was extremely burnt. I spend my 30 minute lunch peeling off all the burnt edges and skin off my chicken. Such a let down. This is a good place to pick up quick and fast Chinese food. It's usually good food at a decent price. The drawback to this location is the long wait. It seems that no matter how many people there are in line, the wait to get from the beginning station (where the person puts rice or chow mein in your bowl/take out box) to the cash register at the end always takes time. The prices are reasonable. I usually get the Panda Bowl. It comes with an entree and choice of side. The cost is $4.96 (tax included). The drawback to this is that rice is considered a side. It didn't always used to be that way. You used to get an entree, rice, and a side order of vegetables. Now if you want vegetables that costs extra. They've made it a la cart. Usually I go for the teriyaki chicken entree. This time I decided to try the Black Pepper Chicken. My choice was really more of a time concern than anything. I was trying to run several errands during my lunch hour before getting back to work. I still needed to eat and this seemed like a fast alternative. Once I got my order, my food was going to get stuck in the long queue to the register. So, I decided to ask the person who was serving the rice/chow mein if since my order was complete and I was getting to go, if I could skip ahead to pay. She looked at me like I was asking some sort of huge favor, but went ahead and asked the cash register girl to ring me up next. So I got to skip ahead in line. I was very thankful for that as I only had about 30 minutes left in my lunch. I got up to the cash register and asked about the price of the Panda Bowl. I asked the girl there if the price included veggies and rice along with the chicken. She informed me it didn't, but because I had asked she opted not to charge me for the veggies. However, she said that for next time I would know any other side beside the rice in the bowl would be extra. I thought that was very nice. I told her I would have paid for the veggies but she just shrugged it off. I don't come here that often, but I'm sure I'll be coming back in the future. FYI, parking here during peak eating times is horrendous. Panda Express is sandwiched by other eateries like Daphne's, Baja Grill, Baskin Robbins, Pasta Bravo, a sushi place, and Jerry's Wood Fired Dogs. So as you can see, you're competing for a parking spot. My suggestion, if you're hungry and come to this eating area, come during an off time to guarantee a close parking spot. Otherwise, you'll be parking across this shopping center road and having to trek through all the cars trying to get in and out of this place. Confession: My first job out of high school was at Panda Express. 1995 ended with a massive whimper for me. Thanks to all the napping I did my senior year, UCLA withdrew their offer of admission and I was left without a school to attend. I was completely lost. And what better way to cement my loser status than to take a job at the local Panda Express? I worked there for six months. That was all I could take of the public harangues every time I made a mistake (which wasn't often, but still). The managers were short-tempered (I worked at two different locations, just to make sure), the work was hot and sticky, my hands became dry and cracked from the constant washing, the uniform was undeniably goofy, and I left work every day reeking of grease. Those days are long behind me, but it all came screaming back when I decided to stop by Panda Express to try out their new SWEETFIRE CHICKEN. As I walked in, I was greeted by the sight of the store manager, viciously shoving bottled drinks into the ice in the drink display by the cash register. "NO!" he snarled at the goofily-uniformed girl standing by him. "It has to look like THIS! Just... just DO IT LIKE I WANT IT!!" Heedless of the fact that he was making the customers uncomfortable, he continued growling at her and slamming drinks into the ice. To the girl's credit, she didn't get angry or lose her cool. She simply raised an eyebrow at another coworker and turned to me with a smile and asked for my order. I got the TWO-ITEM COMBO with CHOW MEIN, ORANGE CHICKEN and SWEETFIRE CHICKEN. The chow mein might well be my favorite thing at Panda Express. It's just so hot and noodly and delicious. And orange chicken is everybody's favorite. No wonder people keep stopping Jo Koy to tell him that they love it. So tangy!! Just like mama make it!! The Sweetfire chicken was a disappointment, however. Just take orange chicken, remove all the tang, and toss in a few pineapple chunks and KABLOW!! Sweetfire Chicken! I definitely won't be ordering that ever again. I much prefer the BLACK PEPPER CHICKEN or even the SPICY EGGPLANT WITH TOFU. Yum. And the biggest disappointment of the evening was when I paid. They raised their prices? In this economy? I'm pretty sure that they're only paying their workers minimum wage or just a hair above minimum. I only come to this location because my son is autistic and one of the foods he eats is Panda orange chicken. I notice though when you order the combo they always fill half the meat parts of the tray with rice and or chow mein. Then fill it with your entree do you get less. I notice it to be worse when is a extra premium meat item. I know we all try to run a good cost of goods but this isn't the way to make money. The staff is usually grumpy I have noticed others commented on that. Also that they tend to not make fresh food when it's 2 hours to close. If I can give this experience no stars I would. I was in line for over 25 minutes and once I got up to the front the items I wanted where not being served and the items I wanted I needed to wait 15 minutes to be made.
