    Destroyed the delicious food.

Food is authentic and so delicious. We had the Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef and Teriyaki Chicken. Great flavor, super fresh and really reasonable price. Inside has an old school vibe and clean. Its family operated and service was good.

Yummy food! A bit on the pricey side but worth it! I remember coming here as a kid. Now it is great to share it with my kids.

This place was recommended to me so I decided to stop by since I'm still looking for a decent Chinese restaurant nearby me. This place didn't disappoint. It's a small and cosy space, but we came on a Friday evening and there was plenty of seating. The menu had great selection, our server was helpful and friendly, and the food came out not long after we ordered. We got the orange chicken and chicken with string beans and both were great! The prices are a bit higher than you might expect, but pretty fair considering the larger portion. Two entrees were more than enough for two people and could definitely feed more. Overall we had a great experience and will return again!

Ask the Community - New China Restaurant

Has the decor of New China been updated with new owners.? I felt it was not clean and very cluttered inside. Bathrooms were gross.

It wasn't like that when we went in, but we aren't there all the time, so I can't speak for other days. The food is amazing though!

I believe it's family owned and the food tasted fresh, flavorful, and really well made. I got the orange chicken and it was nice and crunchy with a lot of flavor, not soggy like some other places can be. The chow mein was also really good, and the war wonton soup was delicious and very flavorful. The serving size was big too, perfect for a cold day or when you're not feeling well. The portions here are generous and the service was friendly. The place itself is on the smaller side, so I personally chose to take my food to go, but you can definitely eat there if you want. It seems like a really easy spot to call in an order and pick it up. Overall I was really happy with everything and definitely plan on coming back. Really good spot to try if you like Chinese food.

APPEARANCE: a little unassuming to be honest. It's your average Chinese food restaurant. FOOD: we came 30 minutes before closing. We asked for some orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, this popcorn type of shrimp with a spicy seasoning, and chow mein. The orange chicken, popcorn shrimp, and chow mein definitely stole the show. The man attending us PACKED those little trays with food. We were fed next day thanks to his generosity. They even cooked us some more orange chicken :D very considerate of them! SERVICE: They were friendly, straight to the point, helpful, and efficient :) we were out in like 5 minutes tops! Definitely a fun little spot to hit up if you're looking to fill the stomach. A little low on the quality side but the flavors made it worthwhile for us. We'll be returning here that's for sure

I know I'll need to come back with friends so we can share. I settled on the pork potstickers. I immediately knew I'd have to come back- they were delicious. And the plate came with 12. I ate every single one and I'm not ashamed. They gave a little trio of sauces on the table, I heard they charge extra if you use them. I didn't notice. There's a chili oil, a garlic sauce and some sort of house made concoction that i think has garlic and soy sauce and something else- it was delicious BUT in my hopeless American fashion I would have liked to have just plain soy sauce and I was too embarrassed to ask for it. I guess that's why take out is a good thing sometimes. One other plus: I got to meet The Dumpling Queen!! She brought me my potstickers and then came back over later to chat. She's adorable & has got the magic hands! The service was good and friendly, it's not a traditional ordering situation though - they have the QR on the table - I guess that's one way they can mange serving all the tables with a small staff. So I guess you order with the code, for pickup or to eat there, and they do the rest. I've never been to a dumpling shop before, the presentation was interesting: all 12 dumplings cooked / fried together held together with a sheet of dough. I love that! Very efficient & pretty,

I aged slightly. Zero regrets. After days of Christmas leftovers and polite meals pretending to still be exciting, this was the most welcome change of pace. I left victorious with chow mein, beef and broccoli, orange chicken, kung pao chicken, and egg rolls and let me tell you... this was not food. This was a reset. A reward. A reminder that happiness can, in fact, come in a foam takeout container. Every bite was fresh, hot, and doing exactly what great Chinese takeout should do: restoring balance to your soul and making you forget you ever smiled politely at dry holiday ham. Yes, the wait was long. Yes, I questioned my life choices around minute 23 and briefly considered ordering snacks elsewhere. But the payoff? Absolutely worth it. Chinatown Express stays consistent where it matters most. The food is always fresh, always delicious, and somehow tastes like it was made just for you, not panic-cooked under pressure. The owners are friendly, generous, and genuinely kind. The place is always clean, the vibes are welcoming, and even when it's packed, they move with purpose, not chaos... like people who know they're worth the wait. And the best part? $20 fed me and my kiddo, with a full plate set aside for lunch tomorrow. That's dinner, bonding time, and future-me gratitude all in one order. If you're in a rush, plan ahead. If you want food that hits every single time and saves you from another round of holiday leftovers, bring your patience and prepare to be fed properly. I'd wait again. And again. And probably longer next time.
