This restaurant features the very unique Seoul Korean corn dogs. Americans are very used to the traditional American deep fried corn dog so it's nice to see a unique cultural take on a beloved deep fried comfort dish that is often associated with festivities and good vibes. I ordered three types of corn dogs; The Seoul Classic Dog, Spicy Dog, and Two Hands Dog. The Seoul Classic Dog was delightfully crispy covered in the right amount of sugar to balance the savory batter. The hot dog itself wasn't memorable and felt like it didn't really contribute to the overall to the construction of the corn dog. The meat itself felt like that person in a group project who doesn't really do the work but still gets shared credit with the group. The Spicy Dog featured a subtle heat that also had a spicy sausage however the two spicy elements together made it very one note and monotonous. The Two Hands Dog was carried by the ranch sauce. However the ranch compromised the crispiness of the corn dog. If the creaminess from the ranch could've could've somehow maintained the crispiness of the batter, it would've been a much higher score. Overall, it's not a bad place. It's a fun experience trying a Korean corn dog but I probably won't go out of my way to order this again. read more

I'm always surprised when I try out a fledgling business and I love it but others rate it less than what I think it deserves. When it comes to eating establishments, I try to be completely objective regardless of my own personal taste preferences. As this philosophy relates specifically to Two Hands Fresh Corn Dogs (THFCD), trust me when I say, crushed hot Cheetos® on a corn dog is delicious! And in fairness, probably not on just any corn dog, but on a panko-battered dog with spicy mayonnaise, Yes. Yes IT IS! So much so, I was completely surprised I liked the sweet, savory, spicy combo as much as I did. I just tried THFCD for the first time, for lunch... about 15 minutes before starting this review. Being in newly built commercial space, the business is exceptionally clean inside. There is no seating, nor is there any sort of bistro or coffee house style window gazing counter for which to consume one's recently acquired edibles. This joint is "grab and go!" I got my dogs and went straight to my truck and consumed them! As I alluded to, I ordered the Spicy Dog. I also ordered the American Classic Dog (ACD). The ACD is not the same as the Classic Dog (CD). The ACD is the closest one will get to a State Fair or carnival style corn dog, while the CD - I assume - is more classic for Korean fast food. Nevertheless, the ACD was good. It was not a "Fletcher's® Corny Dog" and I did not expect it to be. It was a little sweeter than a Fletcher's® but not as sweet as a grocery store version of State Fair corn dogs, which are too sweet for my tastes. I did not ask if there was a public restroom, but I saw no indication of one. The overall vibe inside is relaxed, friendly, and approachable. I met Co-Owners, Chris and Matthew and establishment Manager, Danny. All were friendly and eager to answer any questions I had. I wish them great success here in the Murphy and Wylie area, because these are some great eats! I can't wait to visit again and try something different; Kimchi-seasoned fries for starters!! Korean corn dogs have a hint of a sweet exterior because of the sugar sprinkled on top, but you can opt for no sugar dusting. I went for the half cheese-half meat for an extra 50¢. The corn dogs are fried after you order, which takes a couple minutes. The wait is totally worth it, because these were so good! We have had the American Classic w/100% beef sausage, spicy dog, elote, kimchi seasoned fries, and pineapple slush. The American Classic is so good; it took me back to my childhood. The sausage is very tasty and the batter is slightly sweet. Delicious. My son said the spicy dog, fries, elote, and pineapple slush were all really good as well. I stood at the door for a few minutes. was looked at but ignored, no biggie i wasn't mad just a little frustrated about the time ordeal. Had to gesture at an employee that was cleaning to get someone's attention. she called over this tall asian man to talk to me who i believe is a manager/owner not sure. He opened the door and i let him know " i see you guys are cleaning so im not trying to order but you know i thought you guys closed at 9 but no biggie" he told me it's memorial day and they close 10 minutes early. i'm not mad that's alright, then i tell him i was blatantly being ignored and he shut the door in my face. I really love corn dogs. I guess I really don't love this style of corn dog. We got the mega box that had 5 of their different types of corn dogs. For 2 of the varieties, the cashier asked if I wanted sugar, ketchup, or mustard. I declined all (especially sugar because what???), but several of the dogs were sweet anyway. The classic American dog was my favorite because it was plain and pretty crunchy. We also ordered the elote, which we love normally, but even this was really sweet.
