Two Hands Dog and Dirty Fries

My corn dog was gooey because the batter wasn't cooked all the way. The dirty fries were ok. The person at the register got our order wrong and didn't apologize or act like he cared. There is no ambiance. Just 3 tables for seating and a TV. It was depressing and not very good. We won't go back.

Delicious! I got the big combo box with 5 and my favorite is the one covered in hot cheeto dust. Pinnapple slushy was yummmmm

So delicious! My brother and I both got the spicy corn dog and absolutely loved it. The loaded tots were amazing as well, and the pineapple slush was sweet and refreshing. There was only one girl working, from what I could tell, but she was very nice and extremely quick with the food. Definitely coming back again.

I write reviews for a couple of reasons; the first, to give you, my fellow Yelp*ers, insight into what to expect from a business and secondly, to give business owners the attention they warrant - good or bad. I'm always surprised when I try out a fledgling business and I love it but others rate it less than what I think it deserves. When it comes to eating establishments, I try to be completely objective regardless of my own personal taste preferences. As this philosophy relates specifically to Two Hands Fresh Corn Dogs (THFCD), trust me when I say, crushed hot Cheetos® on a corn dog is delicious! And in fairness, probably not on just any corn dog, but on a panko-battered dog with spicy mayonnaise, Yes. Yes IT IS! So much so, I was completely surprised I liked the sweet, savory, spicy combo as much as I did. I just tried THFCD for the first time, for lunch... about 15 minutes before starting this review. Being in newly built commercial space, the business is exceptionally clean inside. There is no seating, nor is there any sort of bistro or coffee house style window gazing counter for which to consume one's recently acquired edibles. This joint is "grab and go!" I got my dogs and went straight to my truck and consumed them! As I alluded to, I ordered the Spicy Dog. I also ordered the American Classic Dog (ACD). The ACD is not the same as the Classic Dog (CD). The ACD is the closest one will get to a State Fair or carnival style corn dog, while the CD - I assume - is more classic for Korean fast food. Nevertheless, the ACD was good. It was not a "Fletcher's® Corny Dog" and I did not expect it to be. It was a little sweeter than a Fletcher's® but not as sweet as a grocery store version of State Fair corn dogs, which are too sweet for my tastes. I did not ask if there was a public restroom, but I saw no indication of one. The overall vibe inside is relaxed, friendly, and approachable. I met Co-Owners, Chris and Matthew and establishment Manager, Danny. All were friendly and eager to answer any questions I had. I wish them great success here in the Murphy and Wylie area, because these are some great eats! I can't wait to visit again and try something different; Kimchi-seasoned fries for starters!! I so wanted to try them but had to limit myself today. If you decide to give THFCD a try, come hungry and be open-minded to something fun and different! Eat well. Be well. Cheers!

    So damn good

Fantastic corn dogs! All of them! My favorite was the two hands one. These were all flavorful and each of them were different. I'm definitely coming back for more

After seeing the Korean corn dog craze on social media, I was very excited to see a place pop up in Murphy. The restaurant is pretty small with no dining space inside; however, there are some outdoor patios in the alleyway. I ordered the Two Hands Dog and the Crispy Rice Dog. Korean corn dogs have a hint of a sweet exterior because of the sugar sprinkled on top, but you can opt for no sugar dusting. I went for the half cheese-half meat for an extra 50¢. The corn dogs are fried after you order, which takes a couple minutes. The wait is totally worth it, because these were so good! While I enjoyed both, I had a slight preference to the Crispy Rice Dog because of the delightful crispiness.

You know you want to try it! If you are an adventurous eater you'll want to step up to the counter. The price point is reasonable enough that if you don't like it, it won't dent in your budget. These are not your State Fair corndogs. You can have yours covered in potatoes or rice to name a few options. It could have sausage, vegan sausage or cheese in the center. I tried the original, the breading was more textured like finally crush potato chips. It wasn't bad but not what I was expecting. Wait time is prob 5 mins. I stopped in while they are still training and have lots of DoorDash orders so I probably waited 7 mins.

Pretty cool place. ! Big hit with the kids. The Horchata was probably the best I've ever had. The fried corn was definitely unique.

Me and my son ate here for the first time. No regrets and we will be back. He had the American classic dog half mozzarella, half sausage. I had the spicy dog half mozzarella, half sausage. We had the dirty fries and elote. Fries were pretty good. I've had better elote but it wasn't too bad. Try it all! When I go back I want to try the Horchata slushy. My son, on another visit got the pineapple flavor, brought it home, I tried it and it was pretty good.

It's always great here and it hits every time I just always forget to check in That's pretty much all I have to say,, I always get the Injeolmi dog or the Potato dog both bussin with half mozz and half sausage. OH and the horchata slush is just the best thing ever

Service was good. It's inside an Asian mart with a bunch of other cool places. I didn't care for the hot Cheetos or the seasoning on the fries but overall it was cool!

    Vanh D.

I really liked the potato dog out of all of their other options. It is definitely a must try in my opinion. I felt like everything else was too sweet for my taste. It was okay. I do know a lot of people who loves sweet and savory food but I tend to like them separate. Try this place and be your own judge of it because it is definitely different compared to your average corn dogs!

Lemonade Slush (16 oz.) Spicy Dog Potato Dog Dirty Fries

Spicy Dog was 9/10. I wish I gotten it with 100% all beef hot dog instead of half mozzarella cheese and half hot dog because the mozzarella cheese just wasn't for me but I wouldn't say it's bad. The spicy dog flavoring was good. Lemonade slush: 10/0 Potato Dog: 7/10. Outside of the corn dog was great, again I wish we got it with hot dog instead of all mozzarella cheese. Would've rated it 10/10 if I got it with the beef hot dog inside. Mozzarella filling just wasn't our cup of tea! But everyone thing else was good! Customer service was pretty decent, seemed like nice helpful people. Place is small and hidden, no outside patio chairs or dining chairs, but there is an alleyway to the left of the building with community chairs you can eat your corn dogs at like we did. Dirty fries (tater tots with hot cheeto and probably spicy mayo sauce) was just okay.

The dining room is a bit dirty, but that's to be expected when the concept is the populace cleaning up after themselves. When we were there, it wasn't crazy dirty, just not pristine. My soda from the soda machine was bad (missing lots of syrup), but I just got a different soda. Overall, it's nothing amazing, but a good more budget friendly option IMO.
