All I can say is, "Compared to what?" For interstate highway rest stop Chinese American food, Panda Express has been generally good to me. This Biden Welcome Center cuisine was no different. They stick to the playbook and my Beijing Beef, Honey Sesame Chicken and Lo Mein were about the same as at any of the Pandas I have sampled (Total: 4). Perhaps, too sweet across the board, but fairly freshly made, without MSG or other adulterants. I had no problems with any of it, although I would not make it a regular part of my diet. It provided the protein and carbs needed to satisfy this hungry traveler and get me back on the road with refreshed energy and the will to continue the journey home. Food was good, service horrible, four of us coming from a game in Philly stopped by to get some dinner. The fried rice pan was empty with all the dry rice stocked to it. Since we were four I asked Ms. Quijada if we can can from the new pan which was sitting close by, she picked the pan with the dry rice gave me a bad look and dumped the old rice on top of the new rice, when she handed the rice to the next person which was another chica Latina she told her something about me which I don't care, but if she gives this attitude to everyone she should be in a training to be better to customer.. the ambiance was a bit laud because all the people from the game Too bad panda I eat in your locations everywhere I go, this was my first disappointment read more

I can understand the extensive pricing for the convenient location accessible from both sides of I 95 north and southbound but the attitude, before service, and just absolutely horrible food gives even bad panda express a bad name. read more

The food here is subpar compared to other locations. Today's experience included massive pieces of 'chicken' that must have been mostly grizzle and fat, several clumps of severely dried out fried rice (ping pong ball sized), and most of the fried pieces contained no chicken. Additionally, the fountain drink options were either not working or tasted severely off. read more

For the food, the orange chicken was delicious with super good sauce. The fried rice is bland but super delicious with the sauce from the orange chicken. Service was nice and normal, ambiance is a food court. My elder got kung poa chicken which was good but not as good as the orange chicken though it is healthier so yeah. read more

I'm not the biggest panda express fan, but for some reason, this particular rest stop has a serious lack of reasonably priced kids options. Panda express is lacking too, but if you size up your meal, it's just the right size to split with a kid while only adding a few bucks more. They need more vegetarian options. I'm not a vegetarian, but the options get a bit repetitive, so a meal style veggie, or tofu, would go a long way. read more

Woohoo, I finally popped my Panda Express cherry tonight located inside of Biden Welcome Center. You can either choose one entree or two entrees with a side of White Rice, Fried Rice, or Chow Mein. Note: You can ask the employees for any samples! I sampled the Beijing Beef...hubba hubba *mama like* it was definitely a tad spicy but popped my taste buds and the beef was so flavorful. I just ordered the one entree of Beijing Beef over Chow Mein because I am not really a fan of rice...yea I know that I am Chinese but I am Americanize lol! My sister-in-law's sister ordered two types of meat...Orange Chicken and Mushroom Chicken over White Rice. My sister-in-law's mother ordered Chicken Teriyaki over Chow Mein. I welcome Panda Express to Delaware Welcome Center. Although I used to enjoy spinach calzone of Sbarro's there and I believe Panda Express took over their space. Panda Express is the King of fast food Chinese in my opinion. Their food tastes the same and delicious at every location. Prices are reasonable, service is quick and good volume for the price. This new location is no exception. I had a "Plate" with brown rice, black pepper chicken and walnut shrimp. It was pretty good except the walnut shrimp I tried for the first time. It has too much batter around the shrimp. I will stick with Kung Pao Chicken next time. read more

Excellent Aroma & Presentation, intrigued my colleagues around me. Taste however, is another matter. Shrimp was cooked well and not rubbery, but the sauce was too sweet and not enough seasoning/MSG. Veggies were undercooked. I got a bite of raw onion and instantly the sulfuric compounds burned the inside of my mouth. Unpleasant. Sugar Snap Peas also were raw in the center. Red bell peppers were slightly under but still edible. I will have to microwave it in the hotel later to make it palatable. Chow Mein was kinda mediocre. I will not be returning again. read more

This PE is located inside the Welcome Center of Delaware. Easy access off the highway. Located all the way to the end of the facility, you go through other options, however.. I knew Panda Express was the one I would go for. The line as pretty long, but moved quickly. Plenty of staff doing the most at keeping things fresh and hot. Orange chicken is a stable of PE, and my other favorite is the Beijing beef over rice. read more

When it comes to rest stops, speed is vital. After a long drive, no one wants to wait an eternity for a quick bite. Thankfully, the Panda Express team moved liked a dream. It was an assembly line. The menu was large enough for customers to conceptualize their meal and minimize any delays once the front of the line is reached. I chose the bigger plate (3 entrees and 1 side): fried rice, grilled teriyaki chicken, broccoli beef, and the honey sesame chicken breast. The meal was light, healthy, and filling. Wish they had zero stars. I know it's a Panda Express inside a rest stop but even at that it sucked. They have no vegetarian options which for Asian food is just sad. I end up getting brown rice and sad soggy vegetables. The worker, who also included a side of rudeness, asks for a new container of vegetables right after serving me the crap ones.
