This is another location of this huge chain of restaurants. This location is always busy, because they do things right. Food is fresh, the free samples are nice. Portions are large. Lotsa seating and I especially love the outside seating in the back. Try the walnut shrimp or walnut prawns or whatever they are called. So good. I like coming here as my guilty pleasure for lunch because it's cheap and close by. There is a lot of parking in the area and the lines move by relatively quickly. I usually order a plate with teriyaki chicken with orange chicken or eggplant tofu. The food gets packaged food and the teriyaki chicken is a must have here! I like to get it with no sauce because the teriyaki sauce can get overwhelming but the chicken makes up for it because it's nice and succulent. I would definitely recommend coming here because the staff is friendly and usually gives pretty good portions compared to other Panda Express's that I've been to. read more

It was my first time going to this particular Panda Express location yesterday. My boyfriend and I came here after hiking and relaxing at the beach. The customer service here was wonderful, as the staff was friendly and gave generous portions. Special shout-out to Justin, because when my boyfriend said he wanted Orange Chicken, he said he will give us the freshly cooked one because there were barely any left by the time it was our turn to order. We truly appreciated that. We will definitely come back to this location again! I came into the Pinole store this evening 11/6/21 and purchased 3 meals. 2 bigger plates, and one plate. After waiting for over 10 minutes for the fried rice, the fried rice was flavorless, as though they forgot to add any flavoring. The Beijing Beef was soggy and had mushy breading with no flavor. It tasted like water. The orange Chicken was also soggy. After calling and speaking to Elizabeth the manager on duty she insisted that I needed to come all the way back to the store and bring the plates in order to get a refund for the inedible food. Ultimately it caused too much of a hardship for us to go all the way back. So as opposed to upholding best business practice and giving us our money back without inconveniencing us further we were forced to keep the disgusting food, cook for ourselves, and go uncompensated. This unfortunately reflects on the brand extremely poorly. While we are in the midst of a pandemic and financial hardship we have essentially been robbed this evening. We will not be spending our hard earned money with Panda Express again. read more

Food is standard on what you would expect from a Panda Express. There is a girl there Alex that seems nice enough but she gives the absolute smallest portions I've ever seen from a panda. Like child size portions. This does not happen with other employees. I can't help but to feel jipped when she is portioning out my food. February 6, 2023 just walked out of panda for the second time... whoever you have on this night crew need to be taught how to service customers too much playing and joking going on and when somebody have to turn around and tell you to stop cussing so loud it crazy... now to my number one concern after placing my order it shouldn't take me eight minutes to get my food rung up while my food sit on the counter getting cold so instead of waiting any minute more, I decided to walk out and leave the food behind. Since my time is important to me and I have somewhere to be so I decided to stop back by don't know why I did that walked in only two people in front of me fresh orange chicken coming out fresh grilled chicken coming out it's 9:15 PM at night, so you would think there should be no way they could mess up this time... but I was wrong instead of a three item plate. I think she fix me a kids meal. Just walked out of Panda Express. I come here specifically because they wear mask and gloves. For me that's important especially when covid is still relevant. However, walked in today and the cook has his mask down preparing food. What's the purpose of the mask if you are going to keep it below your chin. Also, the cashier never washed his hands or changed his gloves after handling money. He handed the lady in front of me her change (dollars and coins) and went straight to touching my food. So disgusting. His finger (with the glove he just touched money with) was sitting all in my bowl of food. Im big on safe food practices and this is by far one of the nastiest things I've seen. No one goes to Panda Express for amazing food. It's tasty, quick, and the has a uniform level of quality across store locations. NOT THIS STORE I ordered a vegetable/fried rice bowl with the green bean chicken breast entree to go. When I went to eat my food the chicken was NOT breast meat but lower quality dark meat. I ordered this dish specifically because I do not eat dark meat. I had to pick out the inedible chicken and just eat vegetables and rice. I travel quite frequently and thought of Panda Express as an establishment that has quality standards across locations. I will never return to this particular location and will proceed cautiously at other locations. Additionally this particular Panda Express allows it's employees to serve themselves food on a plate like you'd find in someones home. On my short visit I saw several serve themselves and go sit and eat very large plates of food. This seems odd to do in front of customers.
