COVID has only magnified what terrible work flow this place has. There are always 2-3 people on the food line bottlenecking one another, one staff on the register doing nothing but waiting and one person on break. I went there last month because there was a fundraiser for my kid's school- but I will not return again. I placed an order online because I know what a hot mess this place is- I hoped that placing the order online would mean I could just sweep through and pick up. No. I ordered an hour before I picked up. I showed up at my pick up time and waited an additional 25 minutes during which time the person "in charge" told everyone who ordered to wait outside. In 100° weather and terrible AQI. I watched my order sit on the line partially completed and after 25 minutes, I went to the register and asked that they finish my order so I could go. They still took another 10 minutes. Had a fundraiser not been a factor- I wouldn't have gone back after the last time I ordered online and received crusty cold fried rice and old chow mein. This place is not worth your money. They are awful and have no managers on staff who can do refunds or train employees to be efficient and thorough. read more

Went in at 3 pm on a Wednesday when there was no line. I got 2 bowls and they were both half full, the chow mein was barely covering the bottom of the bowl and even after he added the shrimp it didn't even touch the lid when he put it on. It doesn't make a difference in their paychecks to give people an adequate amount of food. We went to have a lunch at this location on 5/12/2018, and I bought a juice for my 2 and half year son, he drink half of it and then the bottle was on the table and i've noiced that it was expired on april, 9th... a month ago!!! I talked to the cashier and to the manager and the asked for my information and said that they'll talk to pepsi, because all the juices were expired!!! And then asked me if i want something else for my son, and i asked her for water, and then i saw the water was expired too as well... that's garbage!! What if something happened to my son!!! Too bad I cannot five a zero or minus rating. Today marked my "all done with it" point for COVID take out that I cannot see the food prep. Received half my order only (other half wasn't even in a plate which should have been obvious) and all orders were done wrong. Upon returning to the store I told the manager what had happened and after that asked for a refund it credit. She offered additional food but refused to give any sort of refund or credit - even while admitting to doing it wrong. I'd love to say also in the dozens of times I have ordered food here that nothing has been screwed up. But I'd be lying not had happened numerous times. But the difference this time is that because of COVID I cannot watch the preparation and make sure it's right. I have to order at the door and hope for the best. All the garbage cans were filled to the top so there was no way to throw anything away. Then more than half the tables still had crumbs on them and the floor was also dirty. Dropped in during a downpour this April. Floor was safe, not wet and slippery. It was late but most of the choices were available. I wanted to try the five spice shrimp. The flavor is terrific. I can't tell which spices they use, but it is a good mix. I paid $5 for a small container. When I got it home I weighted the contents- 5 oz. Once I drained the extra sauce out, I had 4 oz of food. I ordered a family feast and paid $3.75 to upgrade one of entree's to a premium Shanghai beef. In addition to having to wait 10 minutes for it to be prepared they shorted me at least a scoop full. $40 for slow fast food generic Chinese meal and the staff feels the need to rip you off. You workers are stealing from the customers and when our dollars go elsewhere you will have nobody to blame except yourself. My kids love the Orange Chicken but they also have some less americanized sugary dishes like the kung pao that actually has a little heat the pepper chicken in nice too. I only wish they had some really spicy stuff but it is what it is and usually everyone can find something they like. The iced tea is yummy and it usually isn't too busy and you can always find a place to sit. read more

The sheldon road location in Sacramento had extremely bad service I used a buy 1 bowl get 1 bowl free coupon. The cashier didnt put the code in and charged 17 dollars. I mentioned she forgot the code and she got the manager. The manager refused to refund the price of the 2nd bowl or cancel the order and re-ring up the transaction. Instead she said keep the coupon and use it next time. She handed us a second coupon. The manager stated it was too complicated to refund the money and didnt know how to do it. Instead she said sorry, use the coupon next time and have a nice day. That was very rude. She refused to do her job and made me feel like these coupons are a scam to lure in customers. I will preface that I came in 20 minutes before closing. I was greeted promptly and in a friendly manor. Where it took a turn was when I placed my order. They were closing so not all the food items were out and available. Understanding that I was coming in at an inconvenient time and not looking to burden them any further, I ordered one item a la carte and that was it. Two employees huddled together and mentioned to each other that there was no more fried rice or chow mein, which was evident and not in my thought process of asking for. An employee proceeded to say "sorry, not sorry," and laugh on her way to the back of the restaurant. It speaks volumes about this individuals character that she couldn't recognize that I understood and empathized that I was there at closing, but found it acceptable to have no reciprocated empathy or respect for a customer. I've ALWAYS had a good experience at this location. Unless you go during its peak hours, they are always super fast. Food is always hot and fresh and the staff is very accommodating and super polite. This is definitely my favorite location in town! I also LOVE that they've started donating to charity - anytime you buy, they ask you if you are willing to round up to the nearest total dollar amount and they donate the change - so cool! Then they ring a bell and all of the staff say "thank you" to you for donating. I think it's great that the entire team of staff participates like that, it shows camaraderie and gives you a sense of "togetherness" amongst the employees :) read more

You go in and order take out and they are so stingy on the amount of food they give you especially the chow mein or fried rice. The chow mein has so much onions and celery in it, it overseas the noodles. So when you get your noodles half of it is onions, celery, and other green junk. Absolutely awful customer service! Ordered a mobile order. Went to pick it up. I had a free side item since I did a survey that I couldn't redeem online so took it in when I went or pick up my order. I told them before my order was ready. Another employee accidentally rang me up for a side item -over $4. I showed him the free item on my receipt so they had to call over a girl to clear it. She told me I needed to wait until next time to redeem it. I said I didn't want to and I'd like to talk to the manager. She told me there wasn't one there. I told her that I was sorry they didn't t have a manager there, but I would like my free item- which they had already had ready to go. She then tries to tell me I owe over $5 now. I explain I have already paid for my mobile items. I told her again I want the free item. She makes me another "free item" -not sure why and hands It to me without a bag. I ask where my mobile items are and they tell me they're waiting on the food I ordered. By this time it is way over the time they said it will be ready.
