Finally, when they brought the chow main they started serving other people didn't even care about our order. If I wouldn't get up and asked them to finish my order they wouldn't even care. Walked in at 9:15pm when they close at 10pm with extremely limited available food options which were orange chicken and rice. It seemed like the employees thought they would be leaving work early tonight but as more customers walked in after me that's when the chaos began. Customers questioned why there was no food considering it was still early and there was one cook. However staff got defensive when customers questioned their lack of food options and then staff proceeded to tell customers you are being rude and therefore the customer needed to leave. One customer cussed at an employee which was totally wrong and my mouth dropped when the employee representing Panda decided to return the favor with a few cuss words of their own. Then I overheard one employee state we stop cooking at 9:30pm but when I walked in a 9:15 it was obvious clean up had started and they were ready to clock out. Keep in mind I come to this location since there is very limited options open past 9pm when I get out of ARC and can imagine other customers are getting out of work late and are trying to get a bite to eat on their way home. I'm not one to complain much, especially about "fast food"..1 pm, I get a plate of fried rice , and string beans(green beans) and chicken. Nothing looked under 2 hrs old unfortunately. I'm getting sick of paying good money for no good product, and big business just keeps getting away with it. I usually have a good experience at this location, probably my favorite one. Why is consistency so difficult. Truthfully I'd like my money back, the green beans and chicken are inedible! Truly disgusting to be honest. Initially dropped by to grab Starbucks but the smell of Panda Express was so inviting that my bf wanted to come in after our order at Starbucks. They had one of their employees cleaning the window outside, not a problem but she was standing on the top of the rail of their small little step ladder. Seems to be doing it a lot to be able to balance herself and clean windows. If you can invest in a Panda Express Delivery Car owned by Family then I'm sure you can invest in a more suitable ladder for your employees to clean the windows. ILL NEVER GIVE THIS PLACE MY BUSINESS AGAIN. I've been going here for years and I just had my first terrible experience. Amy dished up my food for my Postmates order and she claims she gave me the correct portion of chicken for my kids meal. It's a complete joke, clearly there's no substantial amount of chicken in the plate (see pic) I called in to address the issue and Amy decides to have an attitude telling me "I know it's correct amount I scooped it in there" and as I say "there's literally no chicken in here" she replies with terrible customer service manner and says "well I know what I put in there" and is leaving me hanging with a hungry kid. I went to this panda at 7:34pm 09/22/2020. While I was next in line at the food bar I saw a big bug that look like a roach in size but the color was carmel brown crawling next to the food bar. I called out but no one answered so I smacked it with a menu and gave it to the employee. She said hold on and then came back to tell me she told manager. At this time I said there is another one crawling over the under ceiling and when I tell another employee acts like I was wrong till another employee once again said the managers knows. Usually this store is pretty good. However, today the person who rang me up handed me my food and didn't even bother saying thank you. I saw her name on the receipt and called back and asked for the manager. Much to my surprise the very person who couldn't muster up a thank you is the manager! Really love this Panda Express near Starbucks! While it is the typical Americanized Chinese food, there's something about the food at Panda Express that makes it a easy choice when buying for my family. This location has very friendly staff and while I prefer to order online and pick up, has never let me down unless you count the time they didn't give me properly filled sweet and sour cups (that hasn't happened recently, thankfully!) The only hassle is the parking. Not enough and half the time I wonder if someone might back into my vehicle. If this place had more parking, I would probably go here more often. read more

The parking lot is always full. But you have the employees who always parks in the lot in the best spots right by the entrance to the restaurant facing Madison Ave. It is frustrating to have to park in the Chase bank parking lot and walk over while your employees take the best spots. I've spoken to the employees and the manager and they could care less. One of the vehicles is a dark blue Scion and the other is a silver Scion. These guys are failing the take-out test during this pandemic. And they've had about a month to work out the kinks. I'm an essential worker and had an appointment with law enforcement at 1pm. I order online at 12:15pm and it says that the order will be ready at 12:31pm. I show up at 12:35pm and am ready to wait up to 5 minutes, because I'm aware this process isn't 100% accurate, despite this technically being fast food as the food is pre-cooked and ready to serve. There are multiple people waiting outside the door that's propped open (but blocked) for pickups. Far less people than would normally be there pre-pandemic. From the door you can see multiple orders ready to go and lined up on the counter. However, after a good 10 minutes of all of us standing there, no employee has come to the open door to ask our names to find out if any of those orders belong to us. At this point I shout into the building to ask someone to come over and see if they can match up any of these orders going cold to any of the people just standing there. Someone shouts that they'll check, but that doesn't end up happening for another 5-10 minutes. I end up getting my order, which was sitting there, at 1pm and get back to the office a few minutes late, where the appointment is waiting for me, wondering if I'm going to show up at all. So effectively 45 minutes, when normally I'd be in and out of a Panda Express in less than 10. Won't be bothering with Panda again at least until the pandemic is over. They seem to have made a simple process much more complicated than it needs to be. read more

The lunch I just had here was unbearable. I've eaten at Panda Express a gazillion times and though I'm not a huge fan of it, the food is not bad. Au contraire. The chow mein noodles were thin and cooked al dente, which probably attributed to the dish being overall dry and tasteless. The orange chicken, which is usually my staple, was hard and stale, like it had been sitting out for days instead of just made for the lunch crowd. Also got beef broccoli which had a very strong chemical flavor maybe from pesticides for the broccoli? Ugh. The only positives for my experience was the really friendly staff and the cream cheese wontons, which were busted out of the frozen bag and fried up for me when I ordered. No MSG? Extremely disappointed with the service from this location. I went to get food for my family and 2 out of the 4 orders where incorrect (I received less food than I payed for) and I did not receive my egg rolls. I called back to see if there was anything that could be done because I had 1) received the wrong order and there were missing items. 2)The amount I payed did not match the amount of food I received. I was then told that there was nothing That could be done. No a refund, a meal voucher, or even a coupon. Then I was told that it was my fault for not checking my food before I left the store. While trying to explain the situation I was placed "on hold" for a manager and I could hear everything negative they where saying about me in the background. When the manager came on the phone I explained again and was rudely interrupted with the same phrase "you had every opportunity to check your food before you left" over and over. Overall I'm upset over the customer service and how they handled my situation and on top of that the nerve to say it's my responsibility to check my meal before I leave. Not to be rude but last I checked that's your job. (the reason I say this is because I have worked in the food industry and we were required to always check the order before it was bagged up and handed out to the customer.) I have been eating here a lot because I've been working next door. Overall I would say that I have been pleased. The food us usually hot and fresh. They sell Pepsi products and have 8 fountain drink selections. They generally have fresh brewed iced tea. They also have several bottled drink options. The strange thing about all Panda Express locations is they don't always maintain their full advertised menu. Like today they didn't have any of their Shanghai Angus steak in the make line. They offered to make some but they're never truthful about the wait time. Basically it's always double what ever they quote you. So if they tell you it will take 5 minutes to cook, it's actually 10 minutes. They usually tell people it will be 7 minutes but I've eaten at Panda Express often enough I know it will actually be 14 minutes. I tried explaining this to the girl working the counter, Patricia, but she had an expression on her face like she had absolutely no idea what i was talking about. Perhaps a language barrier, perhaps company policy, perhaps she just doesn't care. I have also eaten here often enough to observe they tend to give you a little bit less of the more expensive entrée. I got a lot more of the orange chicken than the Shanghai Angus steak and they charge $1.25 more for the Shanghai Angus steak. The place is usually clean and the employees are efficient but fall a bit short of being friendly. Perhaps a language barrier, perhaps company policy, perhaps they just don't care.
