A drive thru Panda Express is quite okay in my book. I love coming home and getting off the freeway and seeing everything in natomas close at 9 except for the IHOP and the few other places by panda. Wow.......Just got back from the drive thru. Ordered 2 bowls. Only received one of them. The one I did get, had the wrong rice. Took 3 phone calls for someone to actually answer the phone. She says, "Oh, he was supposed to tell you to park and wait for the 2nd bowl. I guess he forgot." Yes, he did. I heard them tell the car ahead of me that they would have to wait 10 minutes to get the Teriyaki Chicken. Since I didn't want to wait, I decided to pick something else when it was my time to order. When I tried to order fried rice they said it would be a 7 minute wait so I said I would take the brown rice, because, again, I didn't want to wait. If they had told me there was a wait on my Honey Walnut Prawns, I would have ordered something else! They want me to drive back there so they can refund my credit card. I am hungry and grumpy because they can't get my order correct and can't figure out how to fix their mistake without making me have to go out of my way to drive back there, wasting my time, energy and gasoline. I guess I'd have to write up my obligatory review since I come to this place more than I can remember lol. 95% of the time, I order a 2 or 3 entree plate through their drive-thru as I can get my food faster this way. The food is fairly priced and the food is as good as it gets from a fast-food Chinese joint. In particular, I order their mandarin chicken, orange and Kung pao most of the time without any thoughts. The food is great although they mistakenly gave me fried rice instead of steamed rice a few times. The service is usually fast either I'm ordering for dine-in or drive thru. 3 stars?! This place saved my life! Me and friends had recently gone to eat there. The food was amazing and the manager even let us taste test one of the fresh dishes that just came out. After we had left I soon realized that I did not have my wallet on me anymore:/ I called the next day and the staff was very helpful, they did have my wallet and were keeping it in their safe for me:) When i came to pick it up they were extremely nice and had told me the manager had found it for me, not only that but I had over 200$ in it that was still there. Super low portion size. I'm a regular at Panda Express I eat more than once a week at panda at different locations, take it from me .. It's a big mistake to try here.All the neighboring/ other locations are more courteous and more willing to help you. I ordered a party size container of Honey Walnut Shrimp ($60) and it was barely full. Very unsatisfied.

Went to pick up a confirmed Uber Eats order for a customer (3/18/20). Got to the drive through at 10:51. Waited for a minute no response. I then drove up to the window. As soon as I got there all the lights in the restaurant turned off. Waited several minutes then drove around and saw two employees standing there on their cell phones. Store hours say they close at 11. In order for a driver to be sent to pick up an order the restaurant must confirm receipt of the order and mark the food as ready to be picked up in the app. I had to cancel on a poor customer which in turn resulted in a bad rating for me when I had nothing to do with the issue. These two employees need to be put on corrective action. They have no idea how their selfishness to close a few minutes early can and does effect other people. read more

This is the worst Panda Express I've ever eating at. I was going to write a review a month ago, but forgot until today while walking my dog I nearly got run down by a cyclist wearing his Panda Express uniform and the internal rage boiled back up and inspired me to finally post a review. Like most panda expresses, this one charges extra for shrimp (I believe they charge $1.25). No problem, I get it the shrimps are expensive. Typically you pay extra for shrimp, but receive the same amount that you would get with your meal. Not with these mofos! I paid $1.25 extra for 4 pieces of shrimp. FOUR PIECES OF SHRIMP. I had already gotten home by the time I made this discovery, and so I half heartedly ate my subpar fried rice and 4 skimpy pieces of shrimp and swore I'd never eat at this land again. Save your money, eat at any of the other fast food drive thrus in the area or one of the million other Chinese food places. read more

She was fast and friendly gave me great portions and had me in an out in less than 5 minutes. The young man told me a car had a big order. I suggested that car could've moved to the parking lot, then they could have taken their order out to the car so that the line would keep moving. This is my first ever Yelp review, and its really disappointing that this place was so bad that I felt the need to write this. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I ate here last night and had the worst experience at a Panda Express that I have ever had bar none, definitely one of my worst experiences at any dining establishment that I have ever been to. And that sucks because Panda's orange chicken is absolutely dank. It first started off by me pulling into the parking lot at about 10:00pm, which is about the time that they close. I walked up to the door and tried to open it to get inside to order. Understandably, the doors were closed and there was a worker mopping the floor while customers were still seated inside finishing their food. At the time, I did not know that they were closed because there were still people inside eating. I repeatedly tried opening the door and was ignored by the cleaning crew and the kitchen workers alike. I had to be told that it was closed by an older woman sitting in her car outside the establishment that was refused access to the bathroom. At least the drive through was still open. So, I hop back in my car and head over to get in line at the drive through lane. My brother, who was riding in the car with me, decided that he wanted to wait in the outdoor seating area while I bought the food. I spent 25 minutes in the drive through.... And there were only 3 cars ahead of me in the drive through line. When I finally got to the order station, I spent an eternity ordering a very simple order. The employee taking my order would ask me questions, and then not respond for minutes at a time. When she finally decided to put my order up on the screen it was completely wrong. So far through this whole experience I was very patient up the this point. "Maybe they're busy... Maybe they're understaffed..." whatever the problem was, I never make a big deal out of things like this because I understand that these employees deal with rude customers on the daily, and deserve to get treated with respect. Then this happens... I was told while ordering my food that they were out of some of the entrees. I was told that there would be short wait and that I could choose to wait in the parking lot for the food to be ready. Perfect.. Well not exactly. After being left hanging at the order station, and after correcting my order, I noticed that the only items left off of the order were the ones with the wait time. I was told of multiple different reasons why they didn't have the food available. One was that they were changing their oils, another was that they were cleaning the pots. Then they come back over the speaker and tell me that the waiting time is going to take longer than they expected. At this point I felt as though they were trying to swindle me into not ordering the items so that they wouldn't have to make any more of the entree, and thus not do their job. Despite this, I ordered the items with the wait time and continued on down the drive through line towards the cashier. At the cashier station, I paid for the food and waited to get the bag to go. Before I got the food, an employee comes to the window and says that they are completely out of the entree that I had to wait for, and asked me to please choose a different entree. I was so annoyed and hungry that I choose the next best entree that they had (Shanghai Steak), and they reluctantly agreed to swap it. The last entree that I was waiting for I ordered in a large box, and lo and behold they did have it available. But they only filled the box up 3/4 of the way. I pull out of the drive through and find my brother standing in the parking lot. They were in such a rush to leave that they kicked him off of the outside seating area and stacked the chairs. They didn't even let him have one chair and stay on the sidewalk at least. Then I check the beverages that I ordered in the drive through and found out that they gave me the wrong drinks. I park my car and get out to swap out the drinks and the door is still closed... I was completely shunned by the staff. I stood out there for maybe 2 minutes while I made eye contact with multiple employees and was STILL ignored.... While holding 2 large bright red drink cups in my hand that I had obviously just ordered from this place. It took a customer that was rushing to finish her food to get up off her table, walk over to the door and let me in. The one competent employee that they had was a young looking gentleman cleaning the drink dispenser that managed to find my drink still sitting by the drive through window. We ate our food standing up in the parking lot next to a stack of chairs while employees walked by looking at us not saying a word. The only reason why I'm okay with this place getting the 1 star minimum instead 0 is because the food was edible. Drive a couple miles out of your way to a different panda, or the in-n-out thats stones throw away. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more
