This is my local go-to Panda Express. It's so convenient that they have a drive-thru. Most of the time there is no line and you are in and out in under a couple minutes. They recently switched to an AI model to take your order which is interesting. I find the quality of the food to be very consistent and better tasting than the other locations. You know what you're getting with Panda. It's not authentic Chinese food but man is it good. It's slightly more affordable than the nearby competition especially for this economy. I find the food here absolutely delicious and recently found out you can do a half chow mein and half egg fried rice for their bowl which is such a good deal. They were featured on History channel Food That Built America so I had a craving. I downloaded the app and they gave me 20% off my first purchase. I come to PE maybe once or a twice a year because I am always disappointed/dissatisfied with my meal afterwards and wonder what was I thinking? It has not changed. We arrived at 10 and was surprised to find that they open at 930am. Who eats Chinese food so early? seemed like a waste of salary. We were the only ones there. The prices were reasonable. A 2 item entree with side was only $10.50. For $1.50 more you can add another entree and liked that they put it in a separate container instead of cramming it all on the same plate. I got their popular orange chicken, beef pepper steak and my favorite green bean chicken with both fried rice and chow mein. We took it home. Service was friendly enough. The rice and chow mein is horribly dry and all at room temperature at best. I know a lot of people like PE but wow, it is mediocre at best. I only ate half and threw the rest away because I just could not see reheating it and eating it. I still give 4 stars because its how it is at all PE so its just my personal preference on taste. I would give it zero stars if I could! Have been here twice in the last month to order food. Both times I waited in the drive thru over 30 minutes and both times when I get to the order menu I'm told they are out of any kind of meat and they are not making any the rest of the night. The first time I was placing my order 30 minutes before closing and the second time I tried to order 45 minutes before closing! Maybe put a sign in front of the drive thru when your not making any new food. Waiting 30+ minutes at a fast food drive thru only to be told they have no food for you to buy is a joke!
