I ordered 4 plates and they were all wrong. I've been to this place so many time and they always get my order wrong.

What much is there to say? It is steam table Chinese food and a bit pricey at that. Fatty, salty and processed. There are so many options for Chinese food around I consider it a last resort. My daughter's favorite. I don't eat here anymore. She had the new Sesame chicken, Orange chicken, String bean chicken, and rice. She loves all the classic's but didn't care for the new Sesame chicken. I did try a bite of Sesame chicken since i have tried everything there pretty much. It was ok, but i agree with her. So I am ballin on budget these days... So ended up at panda express... I am sorry but this food is not fit for human, animal, or any consumption of any sort. The "chicken" has clearly been under those heat lamps for a few days and the rice tastes and feels like the styrofoam its served in. Do these guys even have for here options... Cuz thats what I said but I got a bagged up styro container with some inedible "food" in it. Straight in the trash. Guess I didn't save much money coming here... Loved the cleanliness of the restaurant, especially during these Covid Times; appreciated the friendly staff and good service; and, enjoyed my food (there's nothing like Panda's Teriyaki Chicken)! I was greeted with a smile and didn't feel rushed although they were fairly busy. I was asked if I would like a sample, I declined as I knew what I wanted but it was nice to offer. I would go to another one if I were you. For one, portion size is dependent on how the server judges you. My friend got less than I did. I've been to the Panda Express in Windsor and this seems like they gave 1/4 less in food at this location. Secondly, customer service is awful. We decided to get some panda express tonight. They're pretty decent normally but this time was a fiasco for some reason. I'm not sure if we're going back to the one on Santa Rosa Ave next to Mendocino Safeway. We asked for 2 entrees each and we received only 1 each and we asked again and they gave us 1 each still. We're both tired and hungry and figured fine forget it we'll take these and go. Low and behold we get home and I open my teriyaki chicken and see I have no rice. How can you have teriyaki chicken with no rice? Seriously. It was disappointing to say the least and not sure if we're gonna go back there for awhile or ever again. read more

This is an ok place to get a quick lunch... dont expect anthing but a quick edible meal...had the kung pao chicken, spicy and pretty good. eggrolls just didnt quite do it for me..greasy with a weird taste. I love eatting at Panda Express! Food is good and staff is polite. I have a Service Dog and had her with me along with my kids. Expecting a negative response toward her but they were super nice and polite and even gave her a bowl of water. Thank you very much! I will definately be back. read more

WHY did I think this was a good idea?? The good entrees are EXTRA so a plate can end up costing $12 or more and they were out of veggies so went for the nondescript fried rice. Plus, their overuse of plastic and styrofoam is over the top. I ate at the restaurant and they still put it in styrofoam and we're going to put it in a plastic bag until I stopped them. The food was good but a homeless person came in and dragged her homeless person bag all over the counter. The staff gave her a free sample shrimp. She got water in her dirty reused cup and then left. The whole experienced left us wondering how dirty the place was. read more

This is the absolute worst fast food place I have ever been to. The wait time on anything that they have run out of is anywhere from 10 minutes to you missing your next birthday. The food is "bad" & as for the hot & sour soup, you'll grow old before you see any of it. I waited 15 minutes & then after I asked where the soup was, they said they hadn't even made it yet. Needless to say I walked out. The employees must only be required to have a middle school education, they definately act like it. The employees are rude, inconsiderate of customers & they definately don't mind if you wait. I came in to the Mendocino location at 9pm (an hour before closing) with a full line behind me. Most of the entrees I typically order were empty. I asked if they would be filling any more and the server said, "I can have them filled if you NEED us to." The look I received after that made me feel like I would be eating saliva if I requested this. So I decided to ask for entrees which were full especially because I had finished a gym workout and was hungry. I unfortunately received about 1.25 entrees which barely filled the container. I was already home when I saw this, but it is clear that they were rationing the last couple entrees for the remaining hour. I have usually had pleasant experiences at every other Panda Express location, however this is not the first time I have had a poor experience at this location. This Panda express is by far the best in Santa Rosa. I've been to others in the area, for example the one on stony point, and have always had overcooked limp nasty fried rice and undercooked chicken. I also tried the one in the mall which was also a disappoinent. But let me tell you if you want perfectly cooked fried rice and well cooked orange chicken this is the place. I usually get a rice bowl with the orange chicken, plus a $1.00 side order of the rangoons with cream cheese inside. Ask for the sweet and sour sauce to dip them in. Food is consistently good and the fortune cookies are free with your meal. All P.E. restaurants I've been to are always busy. This is the second event I've hosted using this restaurant for a buffet meal. They are so friendly taking your order and providing supplies. Their menu is large and reasonably priced. I understand this place gets busy, but this place has given me the worst Panda experience by far! When it was my turn to order they ran out of fried rice which is understandable in the afternoon rush, but I was told 4 minutes, 15 minutes later the fried rice rolls out. But they forgot about my plate so by the time I could get someone's attention about my other they ran out of chow main. Again a "4 minute wait" ahead of me. Can you guess what happens next? Well when the chow me in rolls out 15 minutes later, they are then out of the orange chicken I had asked for. Another "4 minute wait" So in all I waited 40 minutes for my food and what really gets me is that the people in line who asked for the same thing got their orders and were on their way! I'd rather drive to the Panda Express on Sebastapol Rd. and I suggest you do the same. This place has delivered the worst Panda Express experience I've had, and I have eaten at other Panda Express from all California, usually at the dinner rush also. read more
